SALESMAN AND OWNER ARE LIARS! DONT BUY FROM THEM! I found a 2000 Subaru Legacy GT Limited from this location online and decided to take a little road trip from Grand Rapids, in hopes that this would be my new car. I was actually looking forward to testing it out and had every intention of purchasing the car, if I liked what I saw and how it drove, of course. I called the dealership shortly after they opened and talked to a salesman named Scott. He seemed quite nice over the phone and was willing to hold the car for me until I got there, as my drive would be roughly two hours. My brother and I arrived slightly after noon, walked over to the car, and gave it a quick once-over. Scott came right out, shook my hand, gave me the keys, and allowed us to take it for a test drive. The car drove fairly well, but had some flaws, the most noteworthy of which was the air conditioning. It did not function; blowing lukewarm air during the whole test drive. I expressed my concern when we arrived back. Stating it could either be a $100 recharge or a $1000+ compressor, which would be more money than I was willing to spend. I offered $3500 out-the-door and he countered with $3700 out-the-door. I asked if I could take a half hour to ponder and he seemingly begrudgingly obliged. I decided not to buy the car, so I called him and informed him of my decision. He called me back two minutes later and offered to sell it for $3500 out-the-door. I said I would be more than willing to do this, if some sort of arrangement could be made contingent on the air conditioning. If the compressor needed replacing, I was hoping they would pay for half of the cost, but if just a recharge then all would be good. He said he would talk it out and see what could be done. The owner, Rob, called me about ten minutes later and seemed quite nice. He told me he would be willing to do this and stated he would take the car to their local shop about five minutes after he got off the phone and give me a call in a half hour or so with their opinion. I waited a whole hour. When I called back Rob conveniently had just stepped out. Then Scott came on the line and told me the car had been sold. My a**! Seems a bit funny that the car had been on their lot for two months, then I miraculously sells over the course of an hour; the same hour that the owner was supposedly taking it to their local shop to get their opinion of the air conditioning, no less. Thank you for lying straight to my face and wasting my time! You guys are the true definition of shifty salesmen!

I wish I would have listened to all the other bad reviews of this place before I wasted my money. THEY SELL INFERIOR CARS and dont have a problem doing so. Let me break down my experience step by step so that you..a future buyer..are the wiser. This past weekend, I came in to test drive a Jaguar XF supercharged, my salesman seemed nice enough. So I took the car out for a spin. I must say I was impressed by how clean the outside and the interior of the car was but I did notice the wheels and rims were in bad condition..but seeing as the car was priced cheeper than kelly blue book value..I figured the wheels were the reason..also the car didnt have a very smooth ride..so again I attributed this to the wheels as well. When I retuned the vehicle after my test drive..I explained to my salesman my apprehension about the vehicle..he agreed with me and also said the vehicle may need a tire alignment and that he would get that taken care of the next business day..and I should come test drive it again..I agreed and did so and I must admit it was a smoother ride..I asked my salesman would it be ok to take the car to a certified jaguar dealer for a pre-purchase inspection and he agreed. The next day I took the car in for a pre-inspection..paid $160 of my own money..only for them to tell me that there is almost $12,000 worth of problems going on with this particular car..I promptly took it back to JMJ Motors and explained the situation..my salesman told me that basically they didnt care, jaguar tries to drive up the price of theyre repairs and garage could do it much cheaper, and that they had someone waiting to buy the car if I didnt. I will agree with him that Jaguar may be very expensive but my thing is, why wasnt I informed about these problems before hand..smh..moral of the story..if you purchase a car from them make sure that you get it inspected first..pay the extra money..it may save you a lot of stress down the road. Also, just a little advice for the salesman I was working with..a great salesman does not need to deceive nor are they ignorant about what they are selling..and you sir were 1 of the 2..I should have been told upfront what was going on with the vehicle so that I could have made and informed decision instead being blindsided..but you live and you learn if you are lucky..on a side note, I chatted with the owner briefly and he seemed like a nice enough guy..I hope he reads these reviews and steps up his practices

Well, I waited a year to see how my car would work out. I purchased a 2006 mercedes benz r350 with 65k on it. Beautiful car inside and out. The test drive was wonderful and their customer service was top notch. My husband told them what we were paying and they agreed because I paid cash. Now for the fun stuff. They use the Midas next door to the dealership. Midas doesnt know top of the line foreign cars. They just looked at the car and told JMJ that the was was good. When I drove it, my hubby noticed that a check engine light was on, and he asked them to check it out. We thought it was rectified, but after a week of driving, the light came back on. My car only came with 1 key. I have to pay MB $350 for a brand new key. The sunroof went off track and I had to have an oil change. I had a Midas in my area to do the brakes, and my rear brakes were completely gone. I had no pads, and the parking break fell off. I know that I have to do maintenance on the car, thats to be expected, but not that much in a year. I recommend taking your mechanic to look at the car before purchase.

Do not buy a vehicle from this place they do not run inspections as they claim or repair parts they will point the finger to the there mechanic but wont hold any acountability becuse this service place is not owned by them. Bought a 2013 Ford Taurus February of 2016 car had 40,000 miles within 3 days car was overheating water pump failed!!! Also the wipers were not working!! Call the Dealer all they do is apologize!!! they didnt know if it was covered under warranty. They said Bring it to there mechanic brought car there they found the issue right away all most like they found it before!!! Shop then says its a big job need to take to the Ford Dealer this is probably what they told the Dealer before when car was looked over.
