There is a TL;DR at the bottom. Ordered my couch in November, got the sectional portion in May (4 months) but the ottoman was still delayed further. Today I received the ottoman (5 months), it was the wrong color and whats even more infuriating is they tried to pressure my wife into signing the order form for the wrong ottoman. This whole experience has been out of control and driving me crazy. I ordered a dinner table from this company before and that turned out great, but ordering anything during the holiday season is apparently terrible, they have absolutely zero negotiating power with their suppliers and can do nothing to speed up the process of getting your product. My friend just bought basically the same couch from Costco, it was the same quality, he had it in a week, and it was less expensive. Just go to Costco. The picture shows a sample of the damage that is all over the longest part of the sectional, its like hot glue or something melted part of the fabric, TenPenny has been difficult about getting these replaced for free. TL;DR: Go to Costcos If you cant, then buy what is in stock If you want something not in stock then dont order during holiday season If you want something during holiday season thats not in stock then take down the model number, go to the suppliers website, find the retailer that is named after the supplier or the biggest around, then order from there. For the love of Satan dont repeat the same mistake as many other people in this review thread.

So I was looking for an Ashley sleeper sofa and this store was the only one that carries them in my area. It took awhile for someone to appear in the store to help but that didnt bother me because I dislike hawk like sales people. The guy that helped me, Josh, was helpful and gave me time to process my choices and make my decision. However, after I left the store the positive experience ended. I called back to cancel an item off my order the next day. TWO weeks later when my account wasnt credited I called back again and it hadnt been done at all and was done at that point. My delivery was supposed to be 2-3 weeks, almost 4 weeks went by with no courtesy call or anything. So I called again and they said they were waiting on one item still. So I cancelled that item and they were going to call back to schedule delivery. No call, so I had to call again to schedule. The delivery guys were great. But I am still waiting for my account to be credited from my last cancelled item after 3 phone calls assuring me it was done, still nothing. HORRIBLE customer service and ridiculous amount of hassle. Will never shop there again.

Horrible customer service... Really disappointed with quality of products. We bought a couch and love seat from this location less than 1 year ago and it started looking less than average after around 6 months. We called to ask about the quality and had our cushions replaced by were told we had to replace the back stuffing on the couch ourselves. Less than 5 months later the cushions started sagging AGAIN and I just called to inquire about a possible refund since we didnt pay this much for a couch to be falling apart after less than 1 year of use. The gentleman on the phone was extremely rude the entire conversation and not very understanding to our situation. We will NEVER buy from this retailer again as they do not stand behind the products they are selling, admit after selling the furniture that they arent quality pieces and offer unfriendly customer service.

This is by far the best furniture store in the Novi area! My husband and I went couch shopping and checked out every furniture store we could find and Tenpenny was by far the best. The sales people were friendly, low-pressure, and most importantly - honest. They pointed out the pros and cons of each piece of furniture and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. They are truly experts. They also have a huge selection of beautiful furniture and we found so many pieces that we loved. We felt good about giving our business to people who didnt act like used-car salesmen and we also feel confident that they will stand behind their word and their excellent warranties. If you are looking for furniture, check this place out. It is much bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside and they have a great selection with really great prices.

I wont shop for furniture anywhere else!!! Tenpenny in Novi has unbeatable quality and value; each time I order a piece of furniture Im STUNNED by the amazing quality and craftsmanship. The customer service experience also cant be beat; from the moment you walk in the door (and are offered a complimentary beverage!) the sales staff (parricukarly Alan who is now our "go-to" furniture expert) works hard to identify your needs, priorities and budget to identify an ideal furniture selection. Weve been working with Tenpenny during various phases of our careers (including college) and they have always been sensitive to budget but never failed to deliver high-quality pieces. Delivery is hassle-free and their delivery staff has always been professional, courteous and thorough. Thank you, Tenpenny and Alan, for making our house a HOME!

I love Tenpenny. Ive been in here several times just to browse and never felt pressured like I do at the competition across Novi road. After several months of looking, I settled on my ideal sofa I saw advertised on their Facebook page. My sister paid twice the price for a piece from the same collection at Art Van, but mine is nicer - she got a sofa and mine is a sofa chaise. They were nice when I went in to order the piece, and Josh didnt pressure me to add on any additional pieces or unnecessary packages. I researched the piece before I purchased it so I know what to expect (peoples experience with the piece) . Looking forward to years of Tenpenny furniture.

Purchased a living room full of new furniture....couch, rocker/recliner, end tables, sofa table and entertainment center from the Novi location. The customer service was AMAZING, prices were EXCELLENT and delivery guys were AWESOME as well. Could not have asked for a better experience all around! This store will be my go to store for my bedroom and dining room furniture as well and any future furniture purchases!! If I could give them 10 stars, I would ☺

I ordered a bed and a couch was told both would arrive the same day the guys got here with only the bed went back returned 3 hours later with the couch and no headboard its been 3.5 weeks since they were suppose to bring my headboard even after multiple calls I still have no headboard I will be calling again today and asking for money back and my headboard this is by far the worst service ever do not go through these people they do not have it together at all

Really disappointed. We ordered 3 items. Our bigger peice was suppose to take 2 weeks and its now been almost a month. Ive called twice and both times they said it would be 10 more days. Im concerned because we already paid the majority of our total and we still have yet to have any clue about where our furniture is. I wont be suggesting this company to anyone else unless some serious changes happen when we FINALLY receive our furniture :(
