I drove 45 minutes to this store to see a bedroom set that I really had my heart set on. I was extremely disappointed to find out the set that was advertised on their web site was not available in their showroom and was an online order only and I would be stuck with it if I didnt like it. I understand that stores do not have room for everything they sell, but if its something they dont have on their floor, there should be some flexibility with their policy. I asked if they could at least one of the pieces so I could see the quality and their policy does not allow that. Now who is going to spend $3000+ on furniture they cant see first! I tried to talk with the store manager and was told their manager does not work on the weekends! I did not have a comfort level with this store from the second the salesman spoke. He was !very cold and not personable at all. He had the "what you see is what you get and nothing more" type of personality. I guess I will go back to Art Van who has been more than helpful and friendly to earn my business!!

Dont trust the online advertisements on the companys website. My girlfriend and I found a sectional on their website for around $700. We went to the store and purchased the sectional and the stain cleaning kit. When I returned home I had a message on my phone saying that the owner canceled my order because the online listing was incorrect. I was sold the sectional in the store and had a receipt for my purchase but the owner would not honor it. I could of taken legal action and easily won because you cant sell someone something, give them a receipt, and then decide to cancel it. It wasnt worth the hassle so I didnt pursue it but the way the owner handled the situation was very unprofessional and I would not recommend doing business with them.

Picked out a bed and they said it would be in the following weekend cus they order on Mondays well the next weekend we didnt get a call so we called up there and turns out they forgot to order our bed.. So we asked if we could just pick it up from the warehouse we were told no. We asked for a refund and they also said they dont do that. That there are no refunds... So we slept without a bed for a week cus we tossed our old one thinking they could keep there promise. Never again. When we were finally able to pick out mattress up they tried screwing us out of a bedframe that we paid for but wasnt on there paper work... Just do yourself a favor && Stay away from here!!!

I just want to give a shout-out to the best furniture salesman I have met! Mike E., you are awesome! After a horrible experience with Art Van, we came to Lapeer Furniture and Mattress upset and Mike jumped right in to help us find a great sofa! He listened to what we were looking for and got us the best sofa for a great price! Not to mention, I am not the easiest client and can ask a lot of questions, but Mike never made me feel like he was annoyed and helped me to the best of his ability, even after two hours of talking his ear off lol So thank you again Mike and Lapeer Furniture and Mattress! We will definitely be ordering from you again in the near future!

First time I went I got great service. So I went back to get a new sectional. I was told it would take 3 weeks. Which was great. I waited a month and a half. Called them and was told that it would be in on May 27th. I ordered this March 29th. I asked to pick out a different one but had my heart set on this one so i let it go. I called on the 27th because I never got a call saying it was in. Now Im being told June 12th! I told them I want to cancel and Tom, who wrote up my order, would call. Its been almost a week. No call. I will never go back here, its absolutely ridiculous, Ive never been treated this way.

If I could rate it 0 stars I would. Furniture is awful. It breaks and they wont fix it. The quality is horrible. The manager was rude and said the furniture breaking was our problem and blamed us for breaking the couch when the couch broke due being a bad product. I cant believe how rude they are. I brought a warranty and I am Still getting the run around. What ever you do avoid buying furniture at this place you will get a inferior product and rude service. I cant say it any other way. Do not buy anything here...

It was an great experience from the second we walked thru the door to browse for new furniture for our new house. Tim was a great help answering all if our questions and getting what we wanted ordered. It quickly came in and the delivery guys were wonderful! They assembled our furniture in no time and placed it exactly where we requested. Im definitely going to be a repeat customer!

We were in Lapeer Furniture a few times. We dealt with Steve and he was absolutely amazing. He was very helpful when selecting our fabrics and very knowledgeable on the furniture we bought. We bought a sectional and bedroom set and the extended protection plan too. I highly recommend Lapeer Furniture if you need any furniture at all, and if Steve is there ask for him, he was great!

Purchased a sofa that was marked as closeout but not "as is". After ten months of sparse use it began to sag at the bottom & the baseboard on one side pulled away from the frame. I contacted the company and they said there is nothing they would do. The tone of the discussion was very rude and unprofessional. I will not be buying any furniture from this location again.

I had a not so great experience. I ordered a king size bedroom set which came with two nightstands and they only delivered one . I had to wait another two weeks for the 1 nightstand to come in then waited at home from 1230 to 330 which was my window for delivery . They came after three pm so I was late picking my kids up at school . I will NEVER go here again !!

Initially I had some trouble because of a salesman named kasey (no longer works there). I ended up with the exact opposite of what I wanted BUT after talking to them about it they really went out of the way to make sure I was satisfied. Lapeer Furniture really stands by their products and helped me out. I am now really happy with them!

I want to thank them for the wonderful customer service.We bought a king size bed frame and brought it home only to find it had a damaged spot. The repairman came out and said he would repair it but it would show. So they ordered me a new one and even brought it out to me and thats about 40 miles from there store. So again thank you.

Absolutely discusted with customer service.. Dont believe there is a manager that works at that store because, either at lunch or not available.. has made no attempt to call us and get this problem resolved..they have messed up 5 times and we still dont have the matress we ordered..Art van definitely deserves my business back.
