What I look for in a business I choose is honesty, integrity, service and price. In that order. The service behind the sale is always more important than the price. Yet I found a business that reflects everything I look for in Wireless Guru & Game Stop. Ive taken multiple devices in to be repaired for various issues including broken screens, not charging properly and other issues. They repaired the screens quickly and at very fair prices. Yet on the not charging issue of my iPad they blew me away with their service and integrity. They had to diagnose the problem which was not a typical quick fix. There was no damage and no broken parts. They found a networking issue with the iPad and helped me by resetting It and it worked perfectly. I expected to pay for their time and effort. It was not working before I brought it in and I walked out with it working perfectly. When I tried to pay they refused saying it was no charge. They couldve and in my opinion shouldve charged me. They solved yet another problem I had and yet they were happy to say no charge since they didnt have to invest parts into the fix. That is integrity!!! I will continue to come back and I completely recommend the staff and the business. Ive had iPad/ iPod repairs at other businesses and I have always felt taken advantage of and overcharged. At Wireless Guru & Game Swap its the exact opposite. I feel valued, respected satisfied and confident that Im dealing with great people.

Great Place! My girlfriend and I went there because we heard from a friend that they were awesome at fixing damaged screens on phones. We took her iPhone 4s with a shattered screen there and was welcomed by a very friendly staff. The guy fixed the phone within 10 minutes and was very personable. The price for repair was $80. You could go online and get the new screen for $30 or so, but that is often from China or another foreign country. Plus the touch pad is often refurbished when purchasing from these countries. The parts they used to fix the phone were brand new parts. I think paying the extra money for new parts and quick installation was a steal! Aside from walking out with a new screen and a happy girlfriend, I also walked out with a James Bond 007 N64 game! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a reputable place to get their phone fixed or looking for used video games. The thing I liked most about the guy was that he was very honest. If it was cheaper to do something else, he would tell you to do it. A happy customer is a returning customer. As for the lady in the review previously, the phone may have had other issues. Sometimes that isnt understood until the screen is repaired. I think it sounded more like a bad situation than him trying to screw you.

went in before Christmas to find out how much it would cost for a new screen for my daughters phone. They told me $ 80.00 for a screen or $ 75.00 for a refurb phone. Went back 2 weeks ago, ended up being $ 90.00 for the new screen. After I paid he then tells me there may me other things wrong with the phone that arent covered by the $ 90.00. I got the phone back in a few days he tells me everything is working fine nothing else wrong with the phone. I take the phone home we try to activate it and you can not hear the person at the other end talking unless the keyboard is slid open. I took the phone back explain the problem he tells me come back in an hour. When i go back he says the phone fine nothing wrong with it. We try to make a call right then still cant hear the other person. He says well I did tell you that other things could be wrong with the phone. A refurb would only have been $ 60.00. Then he suggested that I try selling the phone on E bay for $ 20.00. Needless to say I am one very unhappy customer, as much as being out $90.00 upsets me his attitude bothered me more.

I will never go anywhere else for cell phone repairs! I had a mishap this morning involving my back pocket and toilet and had water damage on my iPhone 6. I called right when they opened and Steve said to bring my phone in so they could look at it. I drove right over and Steve assisted me right away. He not only replaced my screen and damaged plate but explained what the issue was and was very personable and friendly. He is skilled and did the repair himself and said to bring the phone back in if I experience any other issues. My camera was also damaged by the moisture and they didnt have any cameras in stock but told me they would order one today and have it in TOMORROW! So I will be visiting again for that. Thank you Steve!! You have a great shop and surpassed my expectations when it came to third party cell phone repair businesses. This was my first experience with one and I would not hesitate bringing my phone here again or recommending this shop to friends and family!

screen replacement for Iphone 7 The day after my screen was replaced at wireless Guru i attempted to use GPS on my phone while in my vehicle. strangely, I could not see anything on my screen. I took off my polorized sunglasses and could clearly see the screen again. I brought my phone back in and explained the problem. He assured me that this is the first time he has ever heard of such a thing happening, and would contact his supplier. obviously, nothing was done to fix my phone. A simple internet search revealed that this screen polarization is a issue with cheap, poorly made third party screens. for $172 my expectations were much higher. over the past week the screen intermittently shudders, and the light sensor does not function ( phone constantly transitions from brightest to darkest setting ) BTW, Apple only charged $129.00 to put a genuine Apple display in. lesson learned.

After calling and visiting various cell repair shops in Ann Arbor, I couldnt find a repair shop that could 1) fix my phone in less than 2 weeks because they would have to ship it out to qualified repair techs and 2) wouldnt cost anywhere from 100-200 dollars. So I did some online searching and found Wireless Guru and Game Swap, I was pleasantly surprised when I called and found out that they could replace my screen in the same day, right in front of me and for 65.00. Brought in my cracked Iphone 4s on a Saturday afternoon and the guys working were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. Fixed my phone in 10 or so minutes and it looks brand new! I appreciated the honest customer service and the fact they were not out to make a big profit out of my misfortune. I will definitely be returning for any future repair needs and referring friends!

I was a Damsel in distress calling for help. The tip of my headset of my beats by dre had broken off in my phone. UGH! HELP!!!! I was literally in T-mobiles parking lot considering buying a new phone. Im a clerk at the post office and Ive sorted mailed to his address for years. All of sudden the name WIRELESS GURU crossed my mind. I looked up their number. He said come on over I have a tool let me give it a try. I drove over. Needless to say, in no time he removed the broken piece and my phone was working perfectly. I was sooo happy. I said, how much I owe you? He said nothing. How often does that happen? He can ALWAYS get a good reference from me. Thanks!
