I purchased a 2012 Ford F-150 FX4 at Skalnek Ford after finding it on Autotrader. I was hesitant at first and researched the dealership prior to contacting them. I found from the online reviews that Ryan Marshall was the man to do business with. I called and chatted with him about the truck and requested a test drive. Hes a new car salesman but after stating my concerns about buying a used vehicle he assured me that he would make certain the transaction was seamless. I arrived at the dealership and we went for a test drive. It was raining so it was though to comb over the truck. I requested that we pull it in the service bay so I could get a better look at it. He quickly made that happen and took it upon himself to squeegee and dry the truck. This impressed me, I was shocked that a salesman would do that for a customer but it gets better. I combed over the truck and was happy with the condition. The truck needed to be certified yet for CPO so we started working on the paperwork and finance details. He went to check on the service guys and came back to grab me. We walked out into the service area and the truck was in the air on the hoist, I got to check the entire underneath of the truck out before moving any further. It looked good due to the oil based undercoating the previous owner had applied. As you can tell Im very particular about my vehicles and was glad Ryan listened to my concerns and did everything in his power to make sure I was satisfied before even signing all the paperwork. There was no pressure to buy the truck or any sort of extended warranties. We finished the paperwork and the service guys finished up the CPO process. I drove home and received a phone call from Ryan. He had forgot to put some paperwork in my folder from the deal so he dropped it off on his way home that night, what a guy lol Skalnek Ford has been top notch since the first communication Ive had with them. The sales staff, support staff and finance guy Rick were all top notch. I was skeptical in the beginning but this dealer has EARNED my business and for that reason, I will return for many years to come. I had some service done as well after a few small issues arose and the service guys were also very attentive to my needs and Ryan hooked me up with a loaner 2017 hybrid Fusion for the 2 days while they had the truck. I would recommend Skalnek and Ryan Marshall to friends and family looking for a new or used vehicle, Im truly surprised and relieved to have found these guys. Im very picky and particular about vehicles and Ryan knows how to sell the experience, the vehicle and has the respect I was looking for in order to spend my money with a dealer. Keep it up guys! I will admit, when I found out Skalnek Ford had the car I was looking for I was extremely apprehensive. A few years ago I was toying with the idea of buying a new car and for 6 months (even after repeatedly being told I wasnt interested) their sales guy called me, nearly daily, to harass me. However, I was so sure that this car was "the one" that I went to see it. First off, got an awesome price (thank you black Friday!). The price was so right that I didnt even feel the need to negotiate. I knew, walking in, that the sticker price was a solid $2,000 under fair value. Secondly, my sales guy, Doug Lutz, was a complete boss. He was so honest and genuine. After 4 days of dealing with some of the most scummy sales guys you could imagine Doug was a breath of fresh air. He didnt try to pull the wool over in any way, shape, or form and I really appreciate that. A lot of these scummy dealers saw a petite female walk in and immediately decided they could pull some crap on me. Little did they know, I do all my own mechanic work. I know what Im looking for, what problems are serious, and what things can wait to be fixed. Doug didnt. Doug didnt act like he knew more than me or like he was better than me. I ended up driving away in a beautiful used car at an awesome price. If you are car shopping, you are probably really tired of dealing with sales guys. Drop what youre doing right now, call Skalnek and ask for Doug Lutz, you will not be disappointed. (Unless you are a crappy person who wont be happy with any sales guy, in that case, call somebody else and leave Doug alone. Only customers with a sense of humor and an actual desire to buy a car need call.)

BUYER BEWARE Part 2 I decided to allow Skalnek one last chance to correct these issues, so I sent an email to Stephen Skalnek and Richard Skalnek. Stephen Skalnek contacted me back on 04/13/2015 and informed me that Rick Brewer would be in touch with me. On 04/14/2015 Rick Brewer contacted me to offer a resolution, however after a few conversations with Rick Brewer it was apparent that my first conclusion was still correct, this dealership DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. The paint that we were promised finally arrived and had a ship date of 04/13/2015 on the package, meaning it never left the dealership until I contacted the Skalnek Brothers and then the only solutions that Rick Brewer could BREW up was to create another monthly payment for my wife and I by giving us a discount on an extended warranty OR the best solution that Rick Brewer offered was that we should have backed out of the deal, after the loan was processed. The discount that Rick Brewer offered was not even comparable in price, to the option that we were sold would have been valued at. All Rick Brewer kept saying to me was that he was bending over backwards to make this better for us, if that was true, why not just give us the difference of the Navigation Radio, that was advertised and that we thought we were purchasing, in a deduction of the extended warranty or even better, to make this extremely bad condition better by bending over backwards, why not just give us the extended warranty to prove to us what an outstanding dealership they are? Simple, they are not outstanding and they DO NOT care about their customers!! -----SKALNEK SNAKES------BUYER BEWARE-----

Ryan "Skinny" Marshall is a ROCK STAR!!!!!!!!!! This has been the BEST car buying experience EVER!!! We were referred to him by my brother who was having the worst experience finding a dealership to work with his situation. Not even the dealership our family has been using for the last 16 years would deal with him. Well Mr. Fantastic Ryan here got him into a BRAND NEW 2015. I decided to see for myself since we were in the market for a second car. Well, we stopped by after work right before they closed, and Ryan was more than a professional. The next day (today 08/13/2015) while at work Ryan calls and says its ready........This Guy Is Amazing!!!!!! My fiance and I Love Our Brand New Car. His service was excellent, he was a professional. We told him what we wanted and he delivered with flying colors. We got the options we wanted, our payments are perfect, we couldnt have asked for more!!! If you appreciate respect, quality service, professionalism and a very friendly environment, give them a try. Theyre not vultures just looking to put you in anything THEY choose. They listen and provide you with what you asked for. I will tell everyone i know thats in the market now or in the future for a car to give Ryan a try. He should be your first option. If youve ever felt ashamed or belittled just because your credit score isnt perfect, give Ryan a try. He is Amazing. He is the Best. He doesnt build up expectations and not deliver. He Delivers!!!!!!! Hes a good man.
