A few months back, I started to look for a SUV online. After a lot of research, I came across Platinum Motor Cars in Detroit, Michigan (I’m located in Maryland). They had the car I wanted with the options I was looking for, so after reading their reviews I decided to fly up there. Syed welcomed me to his dealership and showed me around. We started the negotiations for the RRS they had for sale a few minutes after I was signing the paperwork and getting ready to head back to Maryland. When I got back home the service light went off, I thought it was another case of a “too good to be true” type of deal. I contacted them the day after and told them about my issues with the car. I had purchased cars from out-of-state in the past and I had some really bad experiences, I really thought this one would one of them. I was very skeptical about getting any help from them but I was completely wrong. Syed contacted back and told me to take it to the dealership and that they would take care of the expenses. He said if I was unhappy with the car they would just buy it back, no question asked. After I took the car to the dealership I sent them the bill for the service and a few days later, I got a check in the mail to pay for the services. Nowadays finding a privately owned dealership that goes out of their way to keep their customers happy to the point that they are willing to buy back their car is rare. I was pretty surprised about their level of customer service. It’s good to know that there are still businesses out there that care about your hard-earned money and that if something goes bad they still there to help you fix the problem and not just leave you hanging. If you are ever looking to purchase a car — any car — exotic, American muscle, SUV etc. make sure you give them a call. You won’t be disappointed. PS. If you tell Syed and Erica how much you love brunch they might let ride in one of their Exotics :-)

Second vehicle purchase - still a great experience. Platinum Motor Cars; located in Clawson, Mi. is really a great place to find your next car. The team is responsive, easy to work with, and they are very knowledgeable about the vehicles/buying process/shipping process. They sold me an M5 about a year ago and I had to come back for my fiances vehicle after the experience I had. They have consistently been great to do business with. Erica is always right on top of communication, what is next, and available to help throughout the buying/shipping process. Eric and Syed are the best sales representatives Ive ever worked with. Their knowledge is impressive. They offer no-pressure sales for cars that are basically exotics to me. The team was able to assist me in purchasing vehicles from out of state and getting them both shipped very quickly. The PMC team has been very honest, respectful and impressively well educated in all aspects of the buying process.

Still loving my first purchase from Platinum Motor Cars. Syed made the whole experience about as seamless as it could be. I told him what I wanted and only a few days later he had the perfect car for us. This is my first used vehicle, so I was certainly a little nervous about the purchase, but without any cause when dealing with Platinum Motor Cars. I purchased the unit sight unseen, flew to Detroit to pick it up and it could not have been described better. Perfect! These guys say on their website that they are a bunch of people passionate about cars, but they are equally passionate about customer service and having a completely satisfied client. This won’t be my last purchase from Platinum Motor Cars. Thanks guys (and gal)!!!

Im not a car guy. When I get a car, I want them to know the answers to the right questions even if I cant think of them. Honesty and professionalism go a long way, too. As someone who works 80 hours a week, I want to know the guy Im getting the car from is busting his tail off for me too. Service, experience, honesty, and quality -- my values, my desires, all met flawlessly at Platinum. I dont know any other dealership where I can call the dealer with 10 stupid questions at 10pm and have the guy answer the call. They just give a damn. Its that simple.

Disappointed, I had a deal to purchase a 2014 Silver Z28, but when it came time to sign the papers and pay for the car, there was confusion as to another pending deal from a week earlier. Couldnt seem to get a straight answer on my pending purchase. Not impressed.
