If youre doing some long-distance shopping and considering this place - youve been drinking your smart juice! We live 10 hours away and drove through the night to buy from City of Cars. Not only was the deal "that good" - but so were the dealers! Id been hunting for over two weeks and spoken with some great dealers, but Asher really stood out. He really took his time to answer all my questions and even went over warantee options and prices (turned out to be a great deal & we got that too). He went out to the car and went over the whole thing inside and out to tell me about every ding he could find - wanting to make sure it was worth the trip for us and that wed know exactly what we were getting. Then - about 1/2 hour from arriving, we discovered a miscommunication that could have jepordized the whole deal. We were were frantically trying to figure out a solution but when we showed up, Asher and worked it out with Jon and theyd come up with a very, good creative solution that saved us from disaster. To tell the truth - Asher did not look like your typical car salesman - more like a artist, biker dude - but dont let that put you off. I was impressed that he was a dedicated family man and an extremely knowledgeable, professional. He didnt have to come in on his day off to take care of us, but he sacrificed and came to make sure we were taken care of. He also surprised us with extra bonuses - unnecessary - since he knew we were already sold - but he showed over-the-top kindness to us. This is a long review - but I wanted to take just a minute more to think Otto - the owner - for being so genuinely warm with us. From what we could see - most - if not all of his inventory - is kept safe inside, away from the elements. This was not a big, fancy-pants dealership which meant to us that being able to offer better prices was more important than looking lavish.. We LOVE our new Town and Country and would be happy to do business with these folks again and again. High 5s guys!

I just purchased a 2006 Buick Rainier V8 from City of Cars, Asher Panian was my salesman and I was very very impressed with my entire experience. The first thing I notice is they have a lot, I mean a lot of nice cars in their inventory. The Vehicle I purchased was twice as nice as anything else I could find for condition for 100 miles and the deal was fantastic. I drove all the way from Birch Run/Flint Area to pick up the car. I texted Asher on Monday and asked if the car was still available, he said yes, I drove from Flint to Troy to look at the car. When I got there they had to pick the car up from an auxiliary lot, which was about 10-15 min wait, no big deal, I wandered around I was immediately impressed with the cars they had inside their warehouse, all really nice looking used cars. The Car showed up and they simply took my license for a copy, and threw a plate on the back and let me go for a drive. I came back after about 1/2 Hour and put $200 down on it. My wife and myself went down for her to take the car for a drive (the car is for her) so they handed me the keys and we went for another spin around troy. We took the car to have it inspected and this particular vehicle was as clean on the bottom as it was on top. We went back and purchased it. I liked the fact that Asher was very personable, he is a car guy, and he was not pushy. I did not feel He gave me any gimmicks or hard sells, he was just letting the car sell itself and it worked for me and my wife. When my wife and myself got home I told her that the next time I go looking for a car I am going to start with Asher and City of Cars, Everything was fantastic. Thanks Asher John

I live in Texas (DFW area) and was classic car shopping...happened upon the lowest mileage 2001 Mustang Bullitt #4,600 of approximately 5,300 ever made in the world, at City of Cars. I was able to secure the vehicle for what I feel is far less than the collector value. I traveled to Detroit/Troy to pick up and drive back the vehicle. Buzz was a straight up guy, no gimmicks. I made it home with a hiccup on the car (water hose came loose, but it was NEVER dealer inventoried in 2001, so thats to be expected.) Also the gas tank and fuel pump had to be replaced due to fuel decay/corrosion (again, to be expected if you know anything about classic cars.) This vehicle had 13.9 original miles on the ad, and 25 when I picked it up. It was true to the ad, and everything I imagined it would be. Brand new condition in and out. Ran fantastic. The paperwork had a mistake or two on their end, but they bought me $100 dinner for the trouble, and were quick to work with me so I wouldnt have to make 3 trips to the tax office for the tags in Texas. (They literally faxed a document in less than 5 minutes while I was standing in line at the tax office.) These guys are the real deal if youre looking for a classic ride, and you can trust them to do out-of-state business. Ill be shopping in 3 years for a low mile C4 or C5 Covette, and I will definitely be giving City of Cars another look. Love my Bullitt, such a conversation peice, and with now 2,800 miles, pretty sure its still the lowest mile 2001 Bullitt in the world. I highly recommend Buzz as a sales rep, also. Good guy, true to his word. Thats a big deal in Texas!

I was searching within a 500 mile radius for the perfect vehicle. I found it at City of Cars and worked with Buzz throughout the process. Since purchasing this vehicle would involve a 7 hour drive, I was a little nervous about there being any surprises when I got there. However, Buzz was able to closely inspect the vehicle for me and sent photos of the only blemish he could find. Negotiating the price was a low pressure experience and City of Cars was reasonable about the process. When my wife and I arrived to pick up the vehicle, it was clean and the extra set of wheels/tires it came with were neatly packed within and ready to go. The vehicle was in excellent condition and as described. If I had one (relatively minor) suggestion for improvement, it would be the following: City of Cars, due to convenient proximity, gets a lot of its vehicles from Canada. Now, theres nothing inherently wrong with a car just because its from Canada. However, there can be some small issues that potential owners may want to be aware of, such as how cruise control speed may be displayed or that the speedometer may not be original. I dont think City of Cars tries to hide this exactly, but it could be more proactive in making sure potential customers know about any potential quirks a specific vehicle may have. All in all, buying this vehicle was a top notch process and I believe potential customers can trust City of Cars to provide a dependable experience. Thanks again, Buzz!
