Please do yourself a favor and AVOID this place. They treat customers like fools. Especially the guy named STEVE. They give you a higher fake price and push you to increase your budget. When you negotiate the price and they agreed. Then let you pay that amount on another lower price car and told you it is under your budget. When you find out he will give you an attitude. I have never met such a RUDE man before. They do not offer your a window sticker or spec sheet with all the information of the car. They hided the price and give your a fake one. Here is my experience. First my husband and I went there and tested a car which has little gas. So you can not drive far enough. Second when we talk about the numbers, STEVE give us a sheet with nothing but a number on that. He told us thats the price for the car we want. It is over the MSPR more than $2000. At that time we did not think about the number is fake even through the name of the car is wrong. He said it is a mistake by computer or something else. We thought maybe this car have some other features or higher options. So we negotiate on that number. Because the number is higher then our research so we have to increase our budget by $2000. Then there is a lady came out and trying to let us give up some features about the car we said no. The she said we can make a deal. I asked her is this the outdoor price? She said yes. One minutes later, Steve came back and said we need to pay the tax and other fees for that. At that time we are totally confused and I think thats their tricks. We feel fooled and want to leave these lairs. Then he told us that he can give us the price we want and the car with features which we need.He give us a sheet which is very wired, it is not a window sticker nor a spec sheet. It is just a sheet with some feature but NO PRICE on that, which is definitely not the car we talked before. We asked to see the MSPR for this car and he refused. It seems there is no this car and he is just fool us. When we find out this, he said I DONT PLAY THE GAME then walk away. Leaving my husband and I at the table. Thats a lairs act after get caught. But luckily, we did not lost a penny here but I want everybody know their tricks and not get fooled by them.

Let me start with the positives ... I went in for my $9.95 oil change. The place looked really clean and professional. The waiting room was very clean too. After the oil change was done they said their inspections looked fine. Nobody tried to sell me brakes, new tires, filters, etc. Other than asking if I wanted a tire rotation when I was checking in, there wasnt an up-sell. The one thing that they tried to do right away, which I found pretty sneaky, was taking off my license plate cover where I bought my car and put their plate cover on it. They drove it up, just about out of sight and started changing it. I stopped them and told them to put the other one back on. I didnt buy my car here, I just came in for a cheap oil change. Dont try to dispose of my plate cover and put your ad on my car, without my permission. I asked the guy if they always do that and he said if they client requests that they dont, they wont. How could I request them to not do something that they didnt ask me if they could do? That was NOT the best first impression of La Fontaine Toyota. Dont do something like that without asking the customer first!!!! You never get a second chance at making a first impression. They asked if I wanted my tires rotated and after that sneaky move, I didnt feel like giving them anymore money. I took my Prius to Sierra Toyota in Farmington for them to change a headlight and they never tried to put their ad on my car. Sierra was a lot less for the headlight change than any other Toyota dealer around. I just brought my car here for the oil change after hearing about their $9.95 deal on WWJ. I figured I could save a few bucks and try them out. The pros were a lot more than the one con. Clean place, professional and friendly staff. They didnt try to sell me anything more other than the tire rotation. The only con was the sneaky plate change attempt. I went from thinking I was going to be scammed to having a good experience there. Just dont do the license plate scam without asking your customers first. Without that, it would have been a perfect experience. Id probably do business with them again.

THEY CRASHED MY CAR AND NEVER SAID ANYTHING HOPING I WONT NOTICE! I have a 2011 Kia Optima, so I went there for an oil change like a month ago for a first time at this dealership with this car, they were all friendly and nice, i was asking if the paint warranty covers the minor chips and cracks on the paint ( which in the owners manual says it does) he looked the car and said it doesnt, OK no problem.. So, i get the car i go home and when i go to open the trunk i see the rear end is damaged, the paint chipped on few places and the whole bumper pushed inside bent, which it was hard to close the trunk ( i had to slam it ) i was so upset, i called the advisor left a message, didnt get a call back, so i went back to the dealership, and talked to the Manager, which they said theyre not sure if that happened there, and that they gonna verify with the advisor ones he already looked the car before that, and give me a call back soon as he comes back from lunch. And he never called me, i called them twice and left a message and nothing. finally the next day the manager called me and said that theyre going to fix it, and when i went there they only wanted to use some touch up paint and pull the bumper a little just so the trunk will close. I told them i want it to be just the way it was before! They repainted the bumper cover which it looked great, but when you open the trunk there is still a 1-2 inch gap between the bumper cover and the plastic where the trunk closes, and the plastic is bent, and is still like that i just left cause i didnt wanted to argue with them anymore. And aslo i have a 2006 Suzuki Forenza which i took it there 2 years ago for service and timing belt change, and not too long ago found out that the motor hadnt been sealed properly and was leaking oil from the gasket! Im so disappointed, im never going back at this dealership again!

My only hope is that someone reads this and then takes their business literally anywhere else. The service department at LaFontaine is by far the most patronizing and worst run service location I have ever had the unfortunate experience of dealing with. Their negligence and inability to diagnose a warranty issue cost me over $2000 when the clutch burst in my new FR-S at 6,000 miles. I had to pay to tow my car to another shop to even get the repair finished. I had by brought the car to LaFontaine a week before the clutch failed complaining that the clutch was slipping and the slave cylinder was leaking and they returned the vehicle saying nothing was wrong. After being stranded until 3am because the clutch burst in my car, I returned to LaFontaine the next morning right as the service tech was returning from the test drive of my car (the car that had to be towed there). My car reeked of burning clutch because the steel backing on the clutch was spinning against the flywheel on the techs test drive while all of the friction material was packed inside the now incredibly hot pressure plate. After 3 weeks of argument, the result was my repair would not be covered by Toyota because I dont know how to operate a manual transmission and I had obviously been abusing the car based on the blueing on the clutch disk. Mind you Im an automotive engineer working in REAR WHEEL DRIVE TRANSMISSION. I towed the car across the street so my new non-Toyota clutch could be installed. I just tried to give them another chance because theyre so much closer to my work than any other Toyota dealership but yet again their patronization was beyond what I could handle. I now drive an extra 20 minutes to go to another dealership and Ive never had a problem since.
