Blatantly never sent an item that I ordered over 6 months ago, and after countless calls and multiple email follow ups on my end, I have yet to have any attempt at a resolution from them. Initially, (and the only time I ever heard from them) I was given a bogus response about my item being shipped from another warehouse. It never came. I assume that the item no longer (or never did) exist. This is a total shame because the problem could have been addressed quickly (either by actually shipping the item sometime in the last 6 months or through an immediate refund if the item was not available). Instead, they have lost hundreds of dollars in potential business from me over a $35 item. The amount of money is less concerning than the principle- do the right thing. Considering that this company ripped me off, I would have given them zero stars on here, but unfortunately Google will not allow it.

Worst excuse for a company I have ever seen. I ordered two things from these guys. One item showed up after 2 weeks and the other item was no were to be found and nothing said about it. I waited a week and sent an email. 2 weeks later I got an email saying they had a problem with their warehouse and it would be on its way. THEY SHIPPED ME A DIFFERENT PART AND IN THE WRONG COLOR! THE PACKING LIST WITH THE ITEM WAS CLEARLY DIFFERENT IN MANY WAYS. Wont get back to me. Wont return emails asking for refund. ITS BEEN 8 WEEKS AND I HAVE HEARD NOTHING FROM THESE CROOKS! EVERY SINGLE moped forum and group always said stay away from these guys and I though well im just ordering a couple things whats the worse that could happen? DONT EVEN CHANCE IT. ITS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE THESE GUYS CAUSE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS.

I was lured by inexpensive parts, (a knock-off fan for a v1 minarelli, not NOS) I gave them a chance, many, lots of opportunities to fill an order and get it out the door...... Very polite on both ends of our (5)conversations, but, after ordering in early summer, mid-ohio vintage car,mid-ohio vintage motorcycle, wauseon vintage motorcycle and Waterford hills vintage races, all gone by and done with, without fanatic pit bike. Too bad, could have really used it. Kept up hope fan would come in for next event, then next. ...then next...... I think these guys are trying but, there are endemic issues involved with shipping. Cut my losses and pulled plug on order, hope no problem with account funds.... Gave them 1 star for politeness. Mike said he would give 10.00 certificate towards future order for my trouble.

Poor shipping time and sent me the wrong part not even the same part that was invoiced! I ordered a clutch puller 5/18/17 just arrived today 7/7/17 almost 2 and a 1/2 months later! I was sent an e-mail about late shipping, but e-mail said we are 10 days behind On shipping and they were sorry about the inconvenience. I ordered and said on the IVOICE a Honda hobbit clutch puller, but they sent me a kymco gy6 Peugeot magneto puller. The puller they sent was in a clearly labeled plastic tube. Im calling tomorrow and if I could get a refund or a timely exchange Id edit this review and give them a few stars back or maybe buy more parts from them but only from in store pick up.

Recently brought in an Califfo Deluxe moped that had not been started for over 15 years. I brought in the moped completely disassembled and despite myself knowing absolutely nothing about mopeds, Dan and his staff were super passionate about helping me get the moped up and running. I went into the project thinking that since mopeds are such a niche hobby/business, there would be some time delays and frustrations during the project. I did not find this to be the case at all as we finished on time and under budget. An excellent and fun experience. Cannot stress enough how passionate these guys are about what they do.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I ordered a part on 06/09/17 got a order confirmation and have yet to get a tracking number as of 07/05/17. I have talked to Mike over email and phone 2 times. He said that they have been having problems with the warehouse getting the part. Then said that he would look at his own personal stock and send it out that day. he said that the two times I called. I have recently called them with in businesses hours multiple time and no response. I have reported the company for fraud. The owners and employs of 1977 mopeds do not care about their costumers or their reputation.

I would not bother with these people. Over a month and the part hasnt shipped, emailed and didnt get a reply. Attempted to call and you get an answering machine and they will not return my call. Im at the point where I am going to try to get my credit card company to get my money back. They are very efficient at taking your money. If you look through these reviews, you will see many that talk of delays and poor customer service. They have had months to fix the problem and nothing has changed, they dont deserve your business.

Ordered a set of brake shoes per their recommendation and they did not fit my bike. No big deal. Returned them promptly and UPS confirmed they received them but no refund has been issued. I have sent 3 emails and called multiple times but cannot get a hold of them to resolve the issue. Unacceptable. Its been over a month since the return. Extremely frustrating. ***Update-Seller made honest mistake and took responsibility for the error. promptly resolved with professionalism

Ive been trying to follow up on an order I placed a week ago. I never received a tracking number. Ive attempted to call multiple times (more than 10x) and email but I never received a response. I am writing a review out of frustration due to lack of communication. Update (4/10/17): Dan (the owner) was able to respond to me via email. Im looking forward to getting the ball rolling with my order and will update my review accordingly.

I was going to order from here, BUT Im glad I did my research before hand. They have 23 complaints on BBB! Also just asking around my local moped scene there was 8 guys out of 10 who did not receive parts and one guy who is still waiting on a muffler for 9 months with no responce to emails/calls/facebook or twiter call outs. Treatland is where its at. Dont give these your $

The worst place or buy moped parts online. Expect your order a month after being placed. Expect parts to come from different warehouses in a horrible attempt to overcome simple logistics. Expect your Derbi repair manual folded in half in small square box. I dont care if 77 is moped community oriented. The last time I will order anything from them.

Avoid placing online orders with 1977 Mopeds. Youll get screwed one way or another, just as theyve done to so many of their customers. And dont believe them when they say theyve fixed their shipping problems. This place is a joke, avoid. Order from Treatland instead.
