My dad had a recall on his Victory motorcycles backrest/luggage rack. So he went into Smokin Joes, and as he began to mention that he needed recall work done, the gentlemen behind the counter had beaten him to the punch and had stated that they already had the replacement part on order; great customer service right? Thats what he thought. He had patiently waited 7 months for the part to come in, while periodically checking in with them to see if the part had arrived, and at one point being told it could take up to 18 months to arrive. At the 7 month mark, he vacationed to Florida where he checked out a similar dealership and out of curiosity asked someone at the Florida dealership about the recall and they said they had a plethora of these parts in stock and could perform the work same day. But his bike was still in Michigan, had it been in Florida he would have gotten it done! 4 months later he was back home in Michigan and took a short trip up to Mecosta, and on a whim that same day, thought to call Victory headquarters and ask them if there was a part on order for his specific VIN #, and their reply was that there was no pending order in their system for his bike. Now a year has gone by with no recall work performed. While in Mecosta, he decided to stop by Lakeside Motorsports and asked them about the recall as well and they said that they can have the part here in 2 weeks and due to their workload an extra week to be scheduled to have the work performed. Everything went great with Lakeside Motorsports; parts came in when they were supposed to, and work got performed when it was supposed to, while in the meantime still waiting to hear back from Smokin Joes. Needless to say he will now be traveling in the opposite direction of Smokin Joes to make his way up to Lakeside Motorsports, for ALL of his motorcycle needs, where their customer service and overall experience is outstanding and bar none to that of Smokin Joes.

Have always had a positive experience with all the folks at Smokin Joes. Even when my husband got into an accident with his Victory Eightball... They were there every step of the way, to either show support or give advice. They fixed his bike and its like new. Every time we go to Smokin Joes Todd asks how he is feeling and the mechanic talks shop with my husband! Always feels like we are visiting family now when we go to Smokin Joes! I just purchased a new Victory Highball, the process was flawless. Cant wait to get out there and ride. Thank you!

This place will not hound you when you come to look. They answer all your questions and help in all aspects of purchasing your bike. The staff machanics is really knowledgeable and says never hesitate to call. I actually got to meet Joe and his wife (She is such a sweet heart). Joe reminds you of that grandfather you should listen to for advice. The only complaint was the younger girl that works there. But! I would buy another bike there in a heart beat and tell all my friends that this place is friendly and helpful.

My wife and I drove up to Smokin Joes intending to buy each of us an Indian bike. A man behind the counter was not interested in our business. No help what so ever . We looked around for maybe 20 min. The man stayed behind the counter the whole time. With customer service like that and the discontinuation of Victory, Smokin Joes will not be long for the world . We bought two Harleys the next day ! I highly recommend a different Indian motorcycle dealer.

Ive been in Smoking Joes a few times, I have always had a good experience. The Owners son took the time to go over several different models and was a pretty cool guy. I get my parts and oil change kits from them, their prices are comparable, people seem cool. I think a lot of people want to be spoon fed, learn a little something before you expect a magic wand to be waved and *! POOF !* youre evil knievel. They deal in motorcycles not fantasys ....

Ive got nothing but the highest praise for Smoking Joes Motorsports. Ive bought a Chieftain and a Scout from them and the experience has been excellent. All the service Ive needed has been done promptly, and more important, RIGHT! Its an hour drive to get over there, but thats just more time to enjoy riding one of the Indians. Ive also purchased quite a few accessories there and never had any difficulty getting them installed... No complaints!!!

I have not made a purchase yet but I have been very happy with the information and help I have received from Todd. He has spent quite a bit of time going thru the history, the bikes, and riding in general. What I most appreciate is that he fits a bike to the person rather than trying to sell me a bike that I may not be comfortable on at first but will get used to. I highly recommend checking out Smokin Joes Motorsports for your next bike.

Nice facility, but the staff acted put off that I walked in the door. Mind you, I was only 1 of 2 people in the show room who were not employees. Staff was short & stuck up with their 1 or 2 word answers to what questions they bothered to answer. I visited mid afternoon. I was not welcomed for coming, but rather made to feel awkward for being there.

Bought a 2016 Indian Chief Classic (Pearl White) and couldnt be happier with the service and honesty from Joe and the gang. Joe was more then fair and upfront with everything. Good people! Informative and personable. Glad I stopped in- wont purchase or service anywhere else. Bob

Bought Indian Chieftain about 2 years ago and wouldnt go back. They didnt tell me about Veteran rebate and seemed mad because I contacted Polaris. Charged me $190 for checking DUI and paperwork that no other dealership charges. I wouldnt go back
