Ubernova Creature

Well I have had quite the adventure with this specific petco, and not a good one. First off, I want to warn you about their snakes, when I bought a ball python from them after doing a tremendous amout of reasearch on their care, from talking to breeders, to others who own ball pythons, the ball python I bought was sick with a upper respiratory problem. Being the new owner I was, I didnt notice him being sick in till he was very lethargic and by the time I had mad a 30 minute hall up to petco to get the free vet thing they do (it had only been a week since I bought him) he had passed. They were extremely kind to me as I was almost in tears as they asked me questions on his habitat things like the warmth and humidity. Once they found everthing was correct they examined him to see clear liquid pouring out of his mouth, so the conculded they had sold me a sick snake. As understanding as they were, they were going to give me a deal on another python, the one they showed me had large bumps throughout his body, which anyone can tell is not normal. Not the kind of feeding bump you get, but like kinks all through out his spine. That was the only normal morph they had so they pointed me to another snake, although expensive she was a amazing bumble bee morph, I fell in love. To make sure she was not sick in any way i asked to hold an examine her. Instantly she opened her mouth and clear liquid poured out, they took her from me right away saying she was also sick. After 4 weeks of waiting for the snake to become better, I gave up...Everytime I called they said "shes still sick" so I decided that I doubt the snake will survive. I mainly warn you all about the snakes, because I bought a crested gecko 2 months ago and he is doing great :) But the reason why I give such a bad review is because of the high prices and the fact that all the snakes they seem to sell are beyoned bad in conditions and health.

I only have experience in their fish department, but they are the best pet store within at least half an hour radius of Flint. MUCH better than PetSmart or Magoos. The fish staff care. All fish stores everywhere could use some more space for each fish, but PetCo is on the leading edge there as far as I can tell with very clean and even well scaped display tanks. All of the fish and snails I have purchased here have been far healthier than Ive seen from any other chain. In my experience, PetCo fish last WAY longer. I think the employee that I spoke with said they even have a 30 day "return policy" if your fish dies. They also carry some basic saltwater fish, shrimp, and supplies. I love the employees here that care. I hope you will all support the Flint PetCo because it seems like they have really passionate and knowledgeable staff, not to mention its really quite depressing to see how the fish are treated at places like Magoos.

This is usually where we take our dog.to get groomed and every time we usually have an issue. Today we had a 1:00pm appointment and due to construction at a light near the shopping strip we were 10mins late. When speaking to the groomer she said within that short time our appointment had been given away, however there was a sign on the door saying they dont take walki-ins, so I dont know how that happened. I asked her why didnt anyone notify us once our appointment had been given away and she said because they dont do that, and proceeded to be very cheeky and unapologetic about the entire situation. Pet Smart is literally steps away, I recommend going there!

i just called about a few seconds ago to get a count of how many bearded dragons they had and the price range it took forever for someone to pick up the phone and the lady on the was so busy talking to someone in the background that she couldnt be bothered to say hello and so i asked my question and she said hold on let me check so she put me back on hold and i wait ten minutes so to the lady that answer my phone thanks for wasting time
