I will not be bringing my dog back to the PetsHotel here. He stayed for two nights over Thanksgiving and he had a terrible stay. When we picked him up he was incredibly dirty, his eyes were totally bloodshot (I dont think he had slept at all), and he had lost 6-7lbs (hes normally 75lbs). He must have been incredibly dehydrated, because he drank a TON of water after getting home. In addition to the above, I was also very disappointed with the documentation of our stay, in that there wasnt any. When I dropped him off, they tried to take him away without giving me any form of receipt at all. I dont know about you, but I want to have some sort of written proof that someone is holding my dog, and that we have a documented agreed arrangement. What if something had happened to him and they tried to tell me they never took him in. I would have had no proof! Providing a receipt should be a standard, basic business practice. Further, they did a reasonable thoruough (CYA) inspection when we dropped him off, and documented any "incoming injuries or abnormalities", but didnt document his condition upon leaving AT ALL. What if those bloodshot eyes and weight loss were symptoms of a disease he picked up there. I would, again, have had NO PROOF at all. This place is not conducting a good, honest, up front business in my opinion. They only document when it suits them.

BEWARE BAD PET SITTERS AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I look my goldendoodle to their Ann ARBOR, MI location and used their Doogie hotel. After my beautiful goldendoodle stayed in their care for 7 days, I had to have my dogs 4 to 5 inch, well maintained, non-matted hair shaved to the skin after picking him up because he was matted to the skin on his entire tummy, part of his side, collar and half up his chest. Their compensation was a free grooming to have him fixed as they spot shaved him and then I had to pay 2 weeks later to have him totally shaved bc the long hair tangled with the short hair. Was told district manager would call me after I called their corporate office and he never did. I was charged full price for his stay there......not cheap..... $389. Going out of town this week and would NEVER NEVER NEVER use them again. Just a heads up.......bad pet sitters!!! Beware!!!!

The staff is horribly rude and actually tried to parent my children with me and their father standing next to them. One employee told me that I couldnt hold my one yr old up to see the cats because his clean toddler shoes touched a cat tower. A young checkout girl told my son he couldnt reach for anything across the belt and told him to get off the belt when he just reached over it for an item. She then proceeded to tell my child not to touch the exit door in a very nasty tone. These employees tainted our shopping trip and destroyed the exciting part of buying new things for our new puppy. We returned everything and will never be shopping here again. Not a child friendly place at all. Perfect for stuck up childless animal lovers though!

Did not cut my dachshunds nails evenly, and let him jump off of a three foot high table. Clearly poor business practice and training if the groomers are allowing a breed with known back problems to do this. My dog would have panic attacks if I tried to take him in here so I cant even imagine what they did to him while I was browsing the store. Did not return after the third trip there as my dog was frantic. ON TOP OF THIS they were extremely rude to me, and dismissive when I inquired why they let him jump down. Some people may not think this is a big deal but a dachshund can slip a disk jumping off the couch! :(

I called to confirm a grooming appointment after not receiving a reminder of any sort, which seemed odd. I was told I missed my appointment by an entire day at a time that wouldnt ever make sense (5pm on a Friday when my wife and I both work). Wouldnt have been a big deal if I didnt get the treatment like I was the one who screwed up. Why should I trust my dog in your care if you cant even take responsibility for making an appointment or ownership when something goes wrong?

I booked a weeks stay at the pet hotel for my cat while I was going on vacation. I called a couple days before to ask what time to drop her off and they claimed to have no record of my reservation. They had no openings left and told me the closest place I could take her was the store in Rochester. Luckily I found a local company who could stop by my apartment every day to check on her. I wont be using the pets hotel again.

I have always had such good care of me and my dog Teddy here. He loves there doggie day care and there staff and always comes home exhausted so I know he got some good play time. Teddy is always excited when he walks in the petsmart doors and walks straight back to the hotel. Thank you for taking such good care of my little man. It makes me feel very comfortable knowing my dog is in good hands.

They know a lot about what they are doing and are willing to let you inform/hold hamsters/Guinea pigs. Also great supplys for small animals. But Guinea pig cages from stores are often too small and could cause obesity/mental illness and even heart problems, if you want to have a good cage for your Guinea pig then Buy or make a C&C cage. Other then that, Great place!

Refused to sell me an 1inches angelfish BECUZ it needs to be in a 29gallons tank.ya right, all your fish are stuck in a 5gallons and you are telling me I cant put a tiny angel in my 20gallons. :) not too convincing when you have two 6inches angel fish stuck in the box, huh? If you are looking for fish, go to your local fish store.

Everyone here is absolutely wonderful!!! We took our puggle there many times for daycamp, overnight stays, grooming, and used Banfield! Everyone in the Pet Hotel is very friendly and was absolutely wonderful with our dog! Same with the grooming and Banfield! Wish we still lived there because our dog loved them very much!

We have had very good experiences with the grooming services here. They are strict about your dog being up-to-date on their immunizations as they should be. Our dogs grooming was exactly what we requested, and he seemed quite happy when we picked him up. Repeat visits have been fine with the salon as well.

I loved this petsmart hotel. The staff was very friendly. Every day that I called they gave me a detailed report about how my Bella was doing. They were professional and tried getting us the best deal any time they could. They had our baby for six days and they did a great job!

Pet smart for the care of our dog for some time now. It is a very complete pet store. It has a nice grooming center. It has a very nice kennel attached to it. It is more like a pet hotel then it is a camel. We have found personnel to be friendly and very experienced.
