The cashier group in general is pretty good looking....However there is one that stands above the rest, literally. This girl has dark hair, dark eyes and a smile a mile wide. Its always contagious and I never shop unless I know shes working. Call me a stalker or creep but its the only thing I have to look forward to everyday. You see Im friends with the head cashier and know her schedule. I wish I had the guts to tell her that Im in love with the sound of her voice but the 40 year difference might make it awkward. When I look at her it reminds me of when I was a child. The kids school used to bully me for being a tad overweight, my complection was perhaps a little imperfect but I was a good person. I use to come home and my mom would meet me with a hug, they were warm strong and with a hint of almonds and lard. She loved to cook with lard and I loved to eat...all the time and then wipe my greasy hands on my face and smile. When I see her at menards it reminds me of those warm hugs and I always get that warm scent of almonds when I see her. This store gets 5 stars just for her as a cashier. I will continue buying all my bags of candy, duct tape and rope just to see that pretty little face.

Customer service is non existent in this store. Employees have no knowledge of anything in their departments. Found 3 girls once who actually asked me to hold on a minute well they where discussing getting their nails done. With the exception of a man who was helping me with fire places, he was very knowledgeable and patient. Sorry I dont know his name. I now referee to this store as a big box of rocks. Because they act like they are dumber than a box of rocks. In this "big box store" witch Im sure they are not, they just dont care! Ive been waiting 2 days now for a dept. manger to complete her call so she could call me back. Lol. I am doing a complete home renovation and have spent about $30,000 in this store in the past 2 months. I am done with them. And their 11% rebate policy is a joke I have not received a penny from them yet!

Hard to believe anyone would not love this place, the competition has a long way to go if they want to catch Menards. This seems to be a newer location and I cant say enough about the service and selection, I always find friendly help and superior prices. I always try to be fair when reviewing and if I had to be critical I would say the music can sometimes be too loud. The only other thing I can say is they are constantly busy but there must be a good reason for it. . Lumberyard (Yes they have a real outside lumberyard), garden center, checkouts, selection and prices are all top notch.

Old time service where the customer is still important and making a sale is the goal. I love the new Menards in Davison. I bought a patio set last weekend at the store in Clio because the Davison store did not have the complete set. 2 of the chairs were damaged in the box so I called the Davison location to see if I could return them there and they said "Yes". They saved me a trip back to Clio. Also, I think the prices here are lower than other "chains" and much more to choose from. The quality seems excellent.

I. Love. MENARDS! I live right next to Home Depot and Lowes in Flint, but I prefer to make the 11 mile drive to go to Menards because it is simply better. Better deals, better selection, friendly, more competent staff. I would even suggest stopping by their grocery section and checking out the drinks. Im unsure how to get the bottle deposit back for them though. The only issue that I really have going to Menards over the competitor is I often have trouble finding the flat carts with the plywood adaptors.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Used to love this store, but this location has went down hill quickly! I had to exchange something numerous times, finally went to different location! I couldnt ever get through to them on the phone, they then got an attitude & informed me "I shouldve came to the store, not call".. Im sorry that I didnt want to drive way out of my way to get a simple question answered. Which I did finally go to the store & you guys wouldnt even help me! I wont shop here anymore.

Great customer service trying to find a few items. Got to checkout and the cashier grilled me and practically accused me of stealing because I bought 50 empty sand bags and she didnt believe me. She went through, counted 51. I told her to count again and she counted correctly at 50. Not even a sorry. Then I had to get (1) 2x4. Waited over 15 minutes at the guard shack while one person was checking the 10 cars in line. Ill just go to Home Depot next time.

Due to incompetence, one of our orders was never placed. When told everything was ready for pickup is when we found out part of our order wasnt there. Then dealing with some of the workers they couldnt read the invoice and kept forgetting our items. Then when corrected got attitude. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the manager Alex was the only person with a brain nice enough to take care of such a crappy experience.

You really can not go wrong with going there for construction or remodeling projects. This Menards is much more busier than the two in Lansing, but their stock shows. Show up early in the morning! Though they have a large varying amount of different varying items from different varying brands, they do not have all brands; to be expected everywhere you go, but Menards has the most varying brands. Needs 4ply toilet paper.

Employee in carpet department said he had to take a cart up front for a customer, which I could have done in a few minutes. He was going to come right back to wait on another couple and myself. 15 minutes later I decided that another store wanted my business more. I normally like the store but this was an aweful trip. While Im certain I will be there again, I may consider other options first.

Paint department is always friendly and helpful. Cashier was pushy and throwing our things on the belt with no regard to the small things that got sucked under the belt, including the card we were getting that got all bent up. She didnt even offer to remove or replace it. Just rushed us off saying its fine and no one was even waiting in line!

Terrible management literally waited 20 minutes for a manager to talk to me he never could find his way out of the office to speak to me ! Their prices are comparable to Home Depot I would not waste my time in going to the store it is rundown, dirty and customer service is at a all time low !!!!

Went to buy new deck materials spent $1000.00 and not one person in the building materials asked if we needed help loading 80 boards. They were driving there forklift trucks like idiots. Surprised they didnt flip one. Just want to poi t out customer service is the key.
