Just bought a car from these guys. The manager Dave, kept saying how great the car is and the mechanic said its fine, etc. I took this car to a reputable mechanic and they hoisted the car up and showed me over $3k worth of repairs needed. I have gone to this mechanic over 10 years and many a time I have taken a car in, had an inspection and no issues. So I know what is being shown is truth. Dave said, when you but a 2500 car, you expect issues. WRONG! You expect issues when you are told there are issues not $3k worth of repairs immediately. And after youve been told how the car has been inspected and there are no problems, etc. You tell it like it is upfront and let the purchaser decide if they still want to proceed forward. There are some people who are good and fixing cars and may take a deal knowing whats wrong. But at least you give them a choice. And the manager admitted to me that they dont do that detailed of a check on cars or else they would never sale a car. So then dont claim how great the car is and just say, we dont do a detailed check on the car, its as is and then that is on me after that. DON"T BUY FROM THEM, PERIOD!!!!!!!

What ever you do, DONT BUY A CAR FROM THESE HACK JOB MECHANICS. My brother bought a 99/00 Chevy blazer and has only owned it for a month. Lucky for him I am mechanically inclined and have been fixing every issue his car has had. Here is a list just to name a few ; ALL 4 WHEEL HUBS , JUST ABOUT EVERY PANNEL INSIDE THE CAR (door panel window controls) DASH VENTS, THE PINS IN THE DRIVERS SIDE DOOR HINGE, BREAK BOOSTER , NOT TO MENTION HIS CLUSTER IS LIT UP LIKE A CHRISTMAS TREE (check engine, abs and parking break light) OH AND LETS NOT FORGET BREAKS! Granted breaks are more maintenance but lets not forget we havent owned the car for more then a month. Thats a lot of repair work for a car the was bought from a "Dealer". To be honest Im surprised the motor hasnt thrown a rod through the block. All in all this dealership is trash. If your driving by you better just keep on going to the next one. Back again to change my post from a month ago to let everyone know the motor has officially popped! -Andy b-

Im so disappointed. I just hung up with Todd Gonzalez who said he is the owner of this establishment...really nice guy by the way!! I was so looking forward to heading to Lakeside Auto Sales today after work. While Googling directions, I noticed their 4.5 stars, and naturally clicked on "Reviews". Figured people would be praising them, but no...just the opposite. Although there a couple positive reviews, one of them was submitted by a Todd Gonzalez. Here I just finally received the total loss insurance check today (had to wait 3 weeks) and the loaner car is due back this Saturday. Ive watched great cars disappear from CL and used car lots, Ive talked to shady sales people and thought Id found the answer today when I called Todd. But I cant risk doing business with them ... Ive had enough bad luck lately, no need to invite more. ;(

These guys are a REAL JOKE! 12 yrs ago I went them to get a car and they couldnt get me and my BF financed so they financed us themselves and we discussed that I was due to go into the hospital at any time to have my baby and he agreed we could work out an arrangement if we got behind so it wouldnt be an extra stress right away after having my baby. But he didnt even wait till I went to the hospital to repo the car! I went to leave for the hospital and NO CAR! We were in touch with him practically on a daily basis and he lied directly to us! We put a very large sown payment don when we went in to see him in the first place, so this shouldnt have even been an issue! But it was and I lost my trade in as well!

Went the Lakeside auto to purchase a vehicle I saw on the internet. The vehicle was not ready for sale - lots of minor problems. The sales team assured me the problems would be fixed and took a $100 deposit. They told me I could get a refund, no problem. They said they would tell me what the error code on the "check engine" light was, told me I could get a carfax report, but I didnt receive any of that information. Lots of promises, no action. Well, I decided not to purchase, and 3 calls later (including a call to the owner), no refund of my $100 deposit. My advice, there are plenty of good, honest dealers around, I would avoid this one.

It seems as if there are only 2 salesman there. I had entered my information for finance on their site and was contacted the next day. When I finally met their salesman, he seemed very eager to put me in a car. He claimed that he wouldnt put anyone in a car that they couldnt afford. What he didnt say was that he would put me in a car that had many discrepancies with no warranty. The car that I wanted ended up being to much for me, but it took me waiting 2 days,and then calling him!, for the him to tell me that it was too much to finance. They do not care and will not provide good customer service for you unless they know your a for sure sell.

FIRST I CALL TO SEE IF THEY STILL HAVE THE CAR I WANTED. THE DEALER SAID YES NO PROBLEM. B4 I COULD EVEN TEST DRIVE THE CAR WAS ALREADY MAKING A NOISE... THE DEALERS WAS KIND OF FRIENDLY BUT YOU COULD TELL THEY DIDNT KNOW WHAT THEY WAS DOING OR TALKING ABOUT. I WAS THERE THREE HOURS AND STILL WASNT ANY PROCESS. FINALLY GOT APPROVED BUT IT WASNT THE PRICE I WANTED TO PAY A MTH. THE GUY SAID HE COULD WORK A DEAL; SO I DROP A DEPOSIT DOWN. .. HOWEVER HE NEVER GOT A DEAL AFTER TWO DAYS . SO I DECIDE TO GET MY MONEY BACK. AND SPEND MY MONEY ELSE WHERE.

I purchased a 1000 dollar four door Mercury mountaineer back in the fall of 2016. Within 24 hours the alternator went bad called dealership back and told them the problem. They had a towtruck pick up the vehicle. They replaced alternator and called me within the same business day to tell me to pick it up, everything was fixed. Since then havent had a single problem with the vehicle, there is 200,000 miles on the vehicle at present and I am sitting in fort Worth Texas still driving it, thank you lakeside auto sales!

I purchased a vehicle here on March 03 2017, on April 6th 2017 my trans went out, we have been calling up there trying to gets resolution about them getting me another vehicle, I am a single mom and I spent 3400 with title ,tax etc etc.. I have no car now. I used my tax money to go here and but me a car Im totally screwd an nope their not trying to help just the run around..so if my situation not ratified I will be contact bbb..so hell no do not go here
