I cant began to tell you how amazing this experience was at the BRAND NEW Summit Place Kia!!!! So my husband and I have had this 2009 VW Jetta, basically we were in this really bad finical spot with it.. we paid interest only on this loan and we were really unhappy with it, and longed for a newer car. So we jumped from dealership to dealership in the Clinton TWP area and needless to say it was unsuccessful and no one wanted to give us anything for the Jetta and really just seemed like no one cared about helping us at all. So my husband said well let’s try that new SPK place we keep hearing on the radio, so he booked the appt. with Mindy Vance. We came in and immediately got to work, she was one of the best sales personal I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She LISTENED TO US!!!! And gave us the straightest up forward answers about where we were going to be with payments and roll overs and down to the last fine details! We walked in that Monday morning, Monday afternoon Mindy called us with the awesome news that she had gotten us approved for a 2016 Kia!!! My husband and I where ecstatic about the news!! We came in that Tuesday morning.. Mindy had all our paper work ready to go… but STOP!!! There was a miscommunication with the finance department.. My husband and I felt like, dang… too good to be true. And Mindy literally came in and looked at us both and said.. You two will not leave today without a new car. And she was right.. the process was kind of long, but well worth the wait. Mindy continued checked on us to see if we needed anything, got us in a few cars to test drive to see what we wanted and where we wanted to be as far a car note was concerned. After a bit of time, she came back and said.. Congratulations!! You two now own a 2016 Kia!!! It was a long process but it was so worth it! If you feel like you really are stuck in a rut and need a new car, this is the place to go!!! I want to publicly thank Mindy for all her help and hard work!! Thank you again!! We will be back!!!!

Greg Jenkins answered the "chat" I started while browsing their website. I sent him multiple questions over the next couple of days regarding options and prices and concerns. He always answered every e-mail courteously and quickly. I was working with another dealership at the time. Greg was aware and was never pushy to take my business from somewhere else. He was respectful that I was not feeling I was getting the information I needed from the other dealership but never made me feel like I was wasting his time because he wasnt sure if he would even get my sale. When my husband and I came to meet with Greg in person, we were both highly impressed with the entire experience. We were not bothered while we looked at cars on the lot. We were greeted at the door by a friendly person, with a big smile and the question, "How can I help you today?". We were quickly brought to Greg who was able to answer all of our questions with confidence, knowledge, and appropriate information. Once the decision was made to purchase, our wait for paperwork and such was smooth and pleasant. After that was complete, Greg gave me a good hands on tour of my new vehicle and how to use the different options on it. He also took the time to synch my cell phone for me. Since the purchase, I have had several questions that Ive been able to shoot off an e-mail to Greg, and he gets back to me quickly. This was not my first time buying a vehicle, but I can tell you, hands down, it was the best purchasing experience Ive ever had. Of course my family and friends love the look of my new 2017 Kia Sportage. I tell them, if theyre considering a new vehicle for themselves, the best place to look is Summit Place Kia East. They have earned my life long business.

Let me begin by saying that ive been in the sales game before, and know all there is to make something happen, and make it happen fast. From the second I reached out to Summit Place Kia East, it was all a pleasant experience. I had an appointment to see Rich Kolar, the second we met, it was on. With my "under par" credit, Rich made it all happen, all I had going for me was a nice down payment, and a great smile, lol. Rich gave me a couple of options, not feeling rushed or pushed in any way at all. We had a few good laughs, exchanged personal stories and discussed purchasing a vehicle. With the wife being pregnant and already having a 5 year old Rich went above and beyond to get a deal done for us, such an amazing guy, and made us feel very comfortable, as if we had known him for years. We ended up walking out that day with a brand new 2016 Kia Soul, all the bells and whistles, matter of fact I find excuses just to go out and drive it to use all of the features.. My family and I love the vehicle and all of its options, but most of all Rich made the whole experience. If you are looking for a great car and a no BS salesperson to get the job done for you,comfortably,quickly, and no run around, please go and see Rich Kolar at Summit Place Kia East, in Clinton Township, you will not be disappointed. So far so good; they enlightened me on the pros and cons of a lease and seemed to go out of their way to ensure I was happy. No pressure felt during the deal proceedings, I asked a thousand questions and they gave a thousand answers. Also, during the deal proceedings all the metrics where laid out and explained in depth before before I signed anything. Yes I will humbly admit I am wet behind the ears when it comes to car buying but I was able to pick up what the salesman was putting down. As far as my trade-in; I felt as though I could of received more for it but that sentiment is derived from the fact that I loved my old truck. I haggled for a while over my trade and in the end I felt as though they gave me a fair value for the trade which surprised me. As far as the car; 2015 Kia Optima LX, I absolutely love it. No complaints so far but I have not dismissed the jury just yet. I drove off the lot with 23 miles on the vehicle so the engine and power train have a way to go before it is broken in. As of now I am satisfied with my dealings at Summit Place Kia. But I would not say the concrete is cured just yet.

Rich Kolar is an exceptional salesman. He went out of his way to get me and my mother into a brand new car. He drove a car to my moms work so she could test drive it on her break. He even offered to drop the new car off at my job, knowing I had to be at work. I have never had a car salesman offer to do these things, and it was extremely helpful to me and my mother, as I was desperate for a vehicle. Rich was able to get us TWO NEW CARS. I was elated to say the least. It was rough in the beginning, with John Thomas (JT), the initial salesman that greeted me at the door. JT was very rude and obnoxious. It was very embarrassing to say the least, as he yelled about how much money I made, and our credit scores etc. Im pretty sure the entire dealership knew my salary and credit score by the end of JTs rant. If JT approaches you as you walk in the door, just ask for Rich Kolar, because JT will make you sad that you came in, and will leave you without a car. Rich will do everything he can to ensure you are satisfied, and you drive away in the car that you wanted.
