Giving this place one star is being nice but unfortunately I cant give 0 stars. I went to Suncoast looking to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee and the first salesman we worked with was great and very helpful, he found us a jeep in our price range and and structured a deal for us with the owner and we told them we need to talk about it over night and that we would be back the following day. The owner called us the next morning asking us about the deal leaving a message on our phone, we called back when we received the message telling them we were still interested in that jeep and we were coming in to try to finalize the deal and they said ok great. When I got there I worked with the same salesman and he was great with getting our car appraised but while they were doing so he came back and said the car and been sold and no one called to inform us of that happening so I drove an hour for no reason to go make a deal on a car they sold right out from under us, they then agreed to show us some other choices the owner had recommended on the lot, but of course me and my fiancé had a budget and knew where we needed to be at a certain price and they tried selling us a jeep that was 6k more in price, having sold a car out from under us and me driving an hour you would think they would want to work with me on a price but they didnt budge, all they wanted to do was give us a little more for my trade and try to fool us saying they were taking two grand off the price of the car when they werent they only gave me 2k more for our vehicle and wanted us to buy a used jeep for over 30k. So we walked on the deal and decided to look at our options. The owner called us today and wanted to check in and see if they could structure a deal, so we drove an hour hoping for news and the owner put me with the rudest salesman he didnt talk much and walked away from us on the lot and was not helpful I walked inside to talk to him about what I liked and was trying to get him to start structuring a deal and he was rude and didnt even seem like he wanted to help. He said unless my fiancé was there the couldnt even begin to look at numbers and what I would be looking at for the car because all they wanted was to pull his credit. I looked at they guy and said Wayne has structured a deal with me before on paper so I could visually see every thing and he said well i dont know how we would because your fiancé isnt here and we need to see what the banks say. I wasnt even there for 10 minutes I drove an hour to get brought out to a lot to find the jeep I liked to get ignored and treated like I was a joke. I know how buying cars work and the fact that they wouldnt even talk to be about what price I was looking at was ridiculous it had been done before with the owner. All this dealership does is play games, and treat you rudely and like you mean nothing, they do not care about customer service at all. I will never even consider buying a car from them. And I will never recommend them. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CAR DEALERSHIP IVE DELT WITH AND GAVE ME THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE. Stay away!!!!!

This is the stereotypical car dealership and repair department. I called on Thursday and spoke with Paul (a service advisor), to see what they charge for an oil change with a synthetic blend and was told $39.95 and that I would need my tires rotated which Paul quoted at $19.95. I then verified they were open on Saturday morning. I had met wayne Schmitt and thought this might be a reputable dealership. BIG MISTAKE!! When I got there 40 minutes away, Paul now quoted me $63.95 for my $39.95 oil change and when I questioned it he said "oh I do so many of these I must have made a mistake". I turned to leave disgusted for wasting my time when he said he would adjust the price, ok maybe just maybe this might be ok. He told me the tire balance and rotation would be an additional $19.95. I said thats great because I only get a tire rotation and not a balance back near my home for that price. I asked for an AC check as summer is coming and wanted my freon topped off. I didnt know it was $$38.15 for almost a pound of freon. There seemed to be 5 software updates and they charge $35.00 for each, Paul said he would charge me $112.00. The final bill was $119.00. They found 2 oil leaks and charged me $$142.00 for an oil sending switch installed and $125.93 for an access plug. They then told me that my rear differential fluid was dirty, my bad, I assumed they would just drain it and add more. NOPE, another $139.95. When I got my receipt there were several errors, the $112.00 for the software updates were now $119.00, the tires had been rotated but not balanced, Paul said there must have been a communication problem, he told me I declined replacing a dirty air filter, which was also not true, no one had told me about it and my bill was now $676.96. I was outraged. It seems that this dealership made up for the oil change by nickel and diming me. I was really surprised to see the receipt said I needed an access plug and oil pressure switch (they just installed those), a rear differential flush (they just did that), and I needed a 4 wheel brake service. I just had the brake service done, all new, at Dick Norris Buick GMC in Palm Harbor less than 6 months earlier, so what were they going to do...another 4 wheel brake job. I was there from just before 10am until after 3pm. I have automatic front windows that go up and down with just a touch, not anymore. It seem they broke these. I would never do business with these people again and can only warn you of a slick dealership. Run. In my past I have found 2 auto dealerships that stand out by far, Ocean Honda in Holiday and my favorite Dick Norris in Palm Harbor. These are two that have raised the bar from slick auto dealerships. Try them and you will see. They will always have my business going forward. In my

Very disappointing experience, and rude treatment of myself and my significant other. Very frustrating. Sold a car w/ tires that are dry rotted, and also promised services completely unfulfilled. Details below. I bought a Chevy Impala in late Oct of 2015 with Chuck (who was no longer there by November). When I bought the car, I was told the whole car was inspected and road-safe. I was also told I would receive 4 free oil changes; and would receive email reminders when it was about time for the oil changes. Within the first week, I had a slow leak in one of the tires. Between Oct and Dec, I had three tires have leak issues. When two were leaking, I took it to a local mechanic for a patch. He wouldnt touch them, because all the tires were dry-rotted. A second mechanic patched it, but warned me about the dry rot (I didnt tell him what the first mechanic said). Ive driven my car every day; and dry-rot only happens when a car is left to sit (my car only had 16k miles and is a 2008). I called the service dept for help, as I have a 3 year warranty that Im paying for on my car. The service manager was very dismissive, and told me they wouldnt do anything to help me, as dry-rot is a "maintenance issue". When I told him Id only had the car for a little more than a month; he asked me if I bought the car new or used. I told him it was used. He said "Well, you bought it USED, so.." and thats as much help as I received. (I also learned doing research that dry-rot makes your car a lot more likely to pick up debris, causing all the flats and patches Ive had to pay for). In January, it was time for my first oil change. I was working 7 days a week at this time, and didnt want to delay getting my necessary maintenance, so my boyfriend was very kind and we switched cars, so he could take my car to the dealership on one of his days off. He called in to ensure that there wouldnt be a wait. They told him no, he could just come by. He asked the lady about the free oil change I was promised; and asked if he was supposed to bring anything for that. "Yeah, THAT would be nice" was the answer he received, and she refused to tell him what kind of paperwork he might need, or what could be given in replacement. Im of course frustrated for my car, but also very upset that they would be so rude to my boyfriend after how they had already treated me. I cant even go to my original salesman, as he isnt there. I still have the dry-rotted tires (except for one I had to replace altogether); and at this point I feel like Im working against time. Make sure you are EXTREMELY careful buying from them; as you are completely on your own when you drive off their lot, regardless of what you were promised.
