I took my rings in to be repaired after my diamond simply FELL OUT of my expensive engagement ring, and to have both of my rings sized and put together. Despite paying extra for diamond insurance, they essentially told me that if I hadnt found the diamond, they would not have replaced it. It should have taken 2 weeks as I was told. It took almost a month, and I was told multiple times my rings were in, or would be in on a certain day when they werent. They had multiple issues finding my rings to begin with because they wrote down my middle name instead of my first. Now that I have my rings back, Im completely upset. They "repaired" my ring by shoving the diamond down in the setting and closing the prongs over it that are supposed to hold it up. They still are too large, as well. I know that Kays themselves didnt repair my rings, but they need to stand by the work of the jewelers they employ. VERY unhappy.

I recently had some work done by this "jeweler" but will NEVER go here again. I have a charm bracelet and charms that I had collected over the years; took it to this place to have the charms attached, although it was quite expensive ($100 to add 6 charms) I paid it because theyve been around for a long time and I thought I could trust them to do good work. Nope, when I received the bracelet, all the charms were on the right side of the bracelet links except one which was on the opposite side. I thought they would stand by their work but their response was, "well you didnt tell us where to place them"! I am so disappointed. I will never patronize this company again but I will be sure to wear my bracelet frequently so I can advertise the quality and service one can expect from Kay Jewelers.

Stopped in for a pair of watchband pins to replace a bent / broken set on a vintage watch. Clerk said that they had the pins, but company policy prohibited him from selling them to me, "or I could get in trouble." For them to put on the pins, the minimum repair charge started at $40. So I went to a locally-owned jeweler downtown, where they GAVE me the pins and offered to put the band on at no charge. Guess which store gets our future business?

The ladies were so kind and helped my fiancé and I pick out the perfect engagement ring! They defiantly helped to brighten our day and lives. :)
