I bought a small cross-shaped necklace from Kay in the mall. The manager sold it to me directly, and this was two days before Christmas. The necklaces super-fine chain was broken 5 days later, and the pendant slipped off and was lost at an ice rink. I called the Kay customer service number to see if they could replace or fix the necklace, they said that it was a "loss of merchandise", and that no, I could not get it fixed or replaced. But then my girlfriend suggested we go back to the store to talk to the manager in-person, which I was reluctant to do. She and I went to the mall, talked to the manager, and he immediately, no-questions-asked replaced the entire necklace, chain AND pendant for free! He remembered me, and now hes won a loyal customer. They lost my ring while trying to resize it, they said its been shipped and it should take a day or two but its been weeks now and i keep calling and they keep putting me on hold and then even hanging up on me! I asked for a tracking number and they wont seem to give it to me. Im so stressed out and the people that work there are not only rude but incredibly lazy.

Absolutely horrible place to buy jewelry. The service was horrible. I purchased a necklace for valentines, the latch broke right away. They refused to fix it and charged a $120 service fee after only 3 days from purchase. The staff is very rude and will try and push you to buy something outside of your budget.

I went to Kay to look for a ring, and the employees there were great in helping me find the right one. I also had to send it out to get re-sized, which I was a bit worried about after reading some online reviews, but the ring came back in about a week, which was great timing!

Guise (I might be spelling his name wrong) sold my fiance our engagement ring and he made the process fun and easy. I went to get it resized yesterday, and Leslie was super nice and very knowledgeable about the diamond and everything else.

Go to a different Kay Jewelers if you can. People who work there are rude and only want that percentage they get back from selling a product. They only do a half their job.
