My mothers home health care nurse stole all her jewelry and pawned it to this pawn shop. One piece we tracked within hours of it being stolen. Owner claims he had no knowlege of pieces being stolen but the home health care nurse had been a regular customer for over a year. She was such a simpleton, she accepted pennies on the dollar for priceless items. But you can bet the owner and his gold guy knew what each piece was worth or they would not have melted them so quickly. He is a regular Bernie Madoff. Pawn shops have little oversight. But I have this recourse: BUYERS, please be aware that the items you are looking at are likely stolen and mean something to their owners. Do you really want to be part of such a crooked, filthy scheme?

Buyers--avoid this place like the plague unless you enjoy knowing the item you have was stolen from an innocent person who wept over its loss. DO THE OWNERS CARE? No, only about being caught--you lie down with dogs you are going to get fleas. This place is filth, run by filth.
