I moved to Burlington in February and have used the Babies R Us for almost exclusively since that time for purchasing my sons Similiac Alimentum RTF Quart bottles. Im not sure who SK spoke with below and Im sure they are being honest as theres always going to be at least one poor customer service representative in any business. However, I have always experienced excellent customer service here. I regularly call to see if they have the forumla I need in stock, and if they do and I am on my way to the store, they will go ahead and put it up front at customer service for me. They are always willing to go check their inventory for me by phone and always seem glad to do so. One of the young cashiers named Mark is extremely pleasant and willing to help. I believe someone named Craig may be a manager or assistant manager. He is always very helpful and pleasant as well. A woman named Mary was extremely helpful and when they did not have enough forumla in stock for me to be able to take advantage of a sale, she allowed me to still recieve the sale price since I purchased all of the formula they did have in stock. I frequent this Babies R Us multiple times each month and I have always only recieved great customer service. Sometimes, they dont have a lot of staff on hand, so finding someone to help might take just a few minutes, and yes, sometimes you might have to wait in line for a few minutes--but thats the case with many places these days. Their prices are reasonable and the sales they run on baby necessities make their prices even more manageable. That mixed with the excellent customer service Ive always received makes this a place I choose to be return customer for. I was pretty shocked to see it given such poor ratings here. Id recommend giving it a try. Im from the south and people are always trying to say how northerners arent as friendly as southerners, but Ive certainly not found that to be the case here. Theyre awesome.

We ordered a bike for Christmas through this Toys R Us and called in advance to make sure it was both in stock and assembled. We requested the bike to be assembled, and they said it would take 24 hours. We called back the next day and they informed us the bike was ready for pick-up. We asked if it was assembled and they said "yes." Both times that we called we were on hold for 15 minutes. I drove 30 minutes to get the bike and after waiting for awhile, they walked up to me with the bike in the box. I said it was supposed to be assembled and they said it would take another day or two with the holidays. I requested my money back and they shrugged. I had several people warn me about getting a bike at Toys R Us, and I should have listened. We went to a local shop instead, and had amazing service and got a great price. I would not recommend shopping at this Toys R Us, the customer service and professionalism were quite sub-par.

Very disappointed. Especially from a store selling childrens items. My pregnant wife went in to purchase some items and at checkout the cashier continuously pressured her to sign up for the store credit card and after saying no at least four times the disgruntled cashier gave her a nasty attitude and threw the last item sitting on the register at her which ended up falling on the floor and handing her thw reciept and telling her to have a good day. Customer service was terrible as well the time that I went in to exchange an item pushing me as to why I was returning the perfectly good item. I explained that I was looking to get a different model, and she continued to rudely ask if it had been opened or used then inspected the entire box. Understandably they need to be cautious but dont be rude when I hand you an unopened box. Definitely do your shopping online or at a different store.

I hate this store and i never even been there....I called them for assiatnce and i spoke with a rep named sylvia today at 3:05 pm/....she was so rude that it was disgustiig..i wanted to reach through the phone and slap her....i asked to speak with her sup and she just placed me on hold and no one ever came back...before i got to this rep named sylvia....i had called previously 3 times before and the reps just answer then place you on hold and never come back....i was on hold a total 28 min and 13 sec before i hung up from waiting for the sup..what they didnt realize is a I work in a customer service job with customers everyday and i am affliated with the Better Business Burea... if i acted like that i would not have a job today.....My advice to for this place is get it togther!

I am 9 months pregnant and recently moved to this area, Burlington.This store is the closest to my house. Twice I actually left before being able to pay for my purchase because it takes forever for the cashier to either get to the station or they just simply take way to long to ring people in. I never complain about customer service but this is by far the worst experience I ever had at a store...nobody there is helpful or friendly or anything of the sort!!!
