I have worked at MB for almost 5 yrs. And I have experienced nothing but gratitude from this store. Mb cares about its customers and its employees so much. Giving about 4 bonuses a yr to employees and giving he cheapest prices possible to all customers. The store I work at Wilmington #3 is like family. Whether its to our customers or each employee. We have fun and take very good care of our customers. I cant tell you how many customers I am on a first name basis with. Now maybe MB doesnt have the most premium meats or fruits. But i can tell you that they are decent and you wont get sick by eating them. They are just a cheaper product. And thats why you pay through the nose a other stores. MB offers great selections from FRESH SUSHI (we literally have a Japanese guy making it behind the counter) and customers have told me that it is better than restaurant quality and at a much cheaper price. We also have a huge selection of stop and go foods from an area where you can order food and have them make it to an area of pre-made things. Why shop anywhere else for groceries when you can buy the EXACT same items for a much lower price. When I used to work upfront customers used to ask if we had a "discount card" and we dont b/c we already offer the lowest prices. I hope this clears up any questions about any of the other comments on the internet. And coming from behind the scenes in this company i think i may know better than most customers who had one bad experience at MB. Thanks for always shopping a the "store where you get more for your dollar" ~literally!!!

I shop at the Woburn Market Basket almost every week. I drive there from Boston because they have great prices, the store is clean, and the employees are very nice. The manager that works on Saturdays is awesome, he is always making announcements over the loud speaking letting customers know what is on sale, when the bread is just put out fresh, etc. The baggers will always offer to help you out to your car with your groceries if you have alot in your cart. The only area I think Woburn Market Basket could improve on is training the baggers better with regard to what should and should not be bagged together. For example, nothing should be put in a bag that has meat in it, but Ive had my groceries bagged with meat, and boxes of dry goods placed in the same bag. Then the meat leaks out of the package and gets all over the box of crackers or whatever it is. That should not happen. If I see them doing it I will ask them to not do that. If I dont see them do it then I will try to catch it before I load the stuff in my car. Other than that one negative, I have nothing bad to say about this store.

Market Basket used to offer friendly service and a decent selection of quality products. But with the new renovations to this store, I find that it has become like every other huge soulless supermarket who turn a deaf ear to customers. Their prices keep going up, and when I asked them to please try to keep my favorite-but-very-occasionally-stocked-coffee in stock full-time, they agreed then did nothing. As a result of that and other negative experiences here and at their sister store in Burlington, my family stopped shopping there completely. My bill was usually around $250 per week, a drop in the bucket to them, but it adds up and theyll not get another penny of ours. Anyway, I found out you can buy that excellent coffee (cafe solar) I wanted from the distributor in Lowell for cheaper than MB was selling it. So Im done with MB. Ill pay a little more and go to Hannaford, where they seem to really care about their customers.

I like MB. Its a good place to shop because of its cheap prices. However, in this particular market basket the parking lot is a complete mess! Talk about a first impression! There are shopping carts literally everywhere and its because of poor placement of the shopping cart drop off isle which is way down the parking and no one bothers to use it. Although the prices are cheap comparatively, the selection of goods is quite poor as you wont find many more brands other than the MB brand that dominates the whole store. If you purchase the other brands other than the MB brand, the prices are not as cheap. The staff is nice and the baggers are good too. The fruit and veggie isles are kept clean and organized as well as the other isles. Walk back outside however, and its a nightmare.

this place is usually a nightmare to shop basically almost any day of the week so make sure to get there as early as you can or try at night around closing because there is ALWAYS a stampede esp on weekends. they have pretty much everything you are looking for at prices that can not be beat look around you wont find it! The custmoer service here can vary but for the most part its very good. and its better selection ever since they remodeled about 6 years ago so there is muchmore room now which means less cart crashing and congestion. if you have not been here i suggest you start because you will always come back not only for the prices but sales they have all the time its that good! just watch out for the parking lot its a mad house!.

I dont know how you can give this store a good rating. The sale prices are often higher than other stores in exchange for slightly lower regular pricing. As I typically stock up depending on what is on sale and freeze meats when I buy on sale to save money, I often end up paying considerably more when I shop here. Most of the items that offer true savings end up being of lower quality, such as select grade steak. The checkout lines are often long, and most of the employees are kids that just want to have fun when they work.

Convenient and cheap. I always use Market Basket when Im here up north and its always a good place for discounts and good deals. Fresh produce when I need and handy items here and there. This place also is very customer friendly I have never had an issue with staff they are always happy to help and you can usually see they have work there for a very long time. Market Basket has a good thing going on, its why I like shopping there.

Rude, lazy staff at the woburn market basket. The food goes stale on the shelves due to their incompetence. Speaking english is optional at this location. Be careful in their parking lot its filthy, disorganized, and if one of this locations regulars doesnt hit your car and take off, a loose shopping cart will! Try the Wilmington Market Basket, it is MUCH nicer!

They never have what I want anymore, every time I go through the checkout line I get short-changed... half the people that work there dont speak English, Ive noticed that prices was steadily increasing since they shut down two years ago... time to look for another grocery store! The Market Basket in Woburn is totally disgusting

A wonderful place to indulge my ever worsening dried salami habit. The house brand products are excellent (especially the peach yogurt) the clientele a bit more mixed since the average person can actually afford to shop there. Only thing Id change is more Fripp, Eno, or Throbbing Gristle on the PA.
