This Stop and Shop I found to be very clean and pleasant when I approached the deli department and they were pretty quick and getting orders and very pleasant when I approached the cashiers to check out I found one cashier you could tell did not like her job at all she made me feel like I was a burden because she had to check me out I hate when you go into stores and you feel like this I know a lot of you have you go up to the checkout you put your stuff on top of the counter and the lady that supposed to check you out or the gentleman what was their eyes and stats throwing the stuff down the counter and say hello to them and then come back at you with a mon I mean if you dont like your job why are you there if its that bad and you cant even be nice to the customers you really should find another job for your sake and for us

This store is clean and friendly, but not organized for you, the customer. Hence the candy and cereal Isle, where they are counting on your children to break you down to get the candy when buying your wheaties. The reason for 2 stars is the cluttered isles near the meat section and the walmart self check out. If they get to cut costs by keeping only one cashier on while we check ourselves out, then the prices should reflect that margin. IT took me over 15 minutes to check out and I had the self service lay by my side the whole time. Nice woman with a friendly attitude, even she admitted her frustration with the self check out area.

This place is a trap. Security in both the parking lot and at the front desk mirror the feelings that the city itself imparts on visitors, fright. The store is badly in need of an update and the patrons are literally scary. I walked with my ninety year old aunt to the service desk and Im sure she dropped a scratch ticket which was promptly scavenged by the drunken crack addict who was rambling incoherent and fragmented sentences akin to those youd expect from a dementia patient. Above all, the prices are abhorrent! 1.49 for a pound of apples? Id rather starve thank you. Please think again people.

A lot of the produce was unpriced so you had no idea what fresh fruits were on sale or even the prices. The store itself was rather clean but I was appalled at the cashier and bagger service. They were both rather friendly but the cashier was coughing into her hands as she was bagging our food! I couldnt believe what I was seeing. Im grateful that they put sanitizer at the registers and wet wipes at the door, but this was uncalled for, especially for someone handling my food. Id hate to see what the stockers are doing as far as sanitation...

Usually i love it because of organic section, but im perturbed because recently i showed up at 1050pm i got out work very late. Since this stop n shop is suppose to be open till midnight Im wondering why it was closed an hour and ten minutes before hand on May 3 2017? Theres no holiday on this day. I wasted my time and gas when I couldve gone straight home had I known theyd close earlier with no online notice.

My only complaint about this location isbthat sometimes they could stand to open a register or two more, as the store gets very busy at times. To be fair, when a snowstorm is coming, they do have every register open to handle the associated public bread and milk panic, but there is only so much 17 registers can do with such a jittery public under those circumstances.

This is the only Stop& Shop I will do my grocery shopping at. Its always very clean & very well stocked. Also the employees are all very helpful & friendly. Especially one of your cashiers, who I believe is new, but was still very knowledgeable & super helpful. I believe his 1st name is Edwin? He had a yellow shirt on.

lukira, maybe Stop and Shop will price mark each and every apple, banana and carrot for you, so your not confused =] The store at Mariano Bishop Blvd has the best produce in the area, The one on Rodman street has been looking much better too.

Stop and shop is always pretty expensive for a supermarket. In addition this place doesnt have the scan-it scanners anymore which is lame. They also modified all the self checkout counters to be like Wal-Mart which sucks.

Aisles are narrow and many products always out of stock. Terrible wait at the register. No baggers for your groceries. Terrible parking and gas service crammed together with inconvient exits.
