I dont often go to this Stop and Shop because I dont live near it but I do stop by once in a while. Its a rather small Stop and Shop, not the smallest Ive seen (that would be South Bostons store) but small enough to walk around at ease without tiring oneself. All the basic groceries are there but given the stores size, Id imagine some special things to be unavailable at this location. Its almost a twin of the Brookline store but only with a florist and pharmacy added. Like the Brookline store, it is right on a busy bus line as well and so is convenient to walkers and transit enthusiasts alike.

This stop and shop needs some serious franchise love if its going to be decent. 1) The freezer section is always iced over, clearly not cleaned properly. Best of luck getting ice cream not covered with ice. 2) The produce, and really the whole store, is horrendously expensive compared to any shop nearby including Whole Foods. 3) Food is often expired or close to expiring, make sure to check it. 4) There bread usually tastes a few days old Pros: 1) There deli counter isnt bad and has some decent variety 2) The checkout team is pretty friendly 3) Like the kids fruit area

While the store has most of the things you would expect at the supermarket, forget about asking the employees there how to find anything or expect them to do anything for you except aggravate you. They are rude and impatient and make the store less desirable to go to even if the selection is better than other arlington supermarkets.

Employee rude and unhelpful. While trying to check out two employees, that were too busy talking to help me, were gloating about how they defraud the government and take advantage of the welfare system by selling the items they get to feed their kids. Keep it classy! Will never shop here again!

Its on the small size of average for a grocery store in this region. Approximately the same size/selection level as the stop and shop at alewife brook but the selections at least differ between stores so usually can find something at one if not the other (but not always)

A very small Stop & Shop, this place does not have as much variety as other supermarkets (ie. live lobster) but it does have the essentials. We visit here sometimes to buy frozen foods as there are occasionally deals.

This store has a parking available. Carries great veriety of groceries. Sometimes vegetables and fruits are okay quality but price usually reflects that. The store has its own organic brand of all major foods.

The service here is abysmal. Usually only one or two cashiers and the self checkout is horrible. Prices are too big compared to Market Basket. I heard an employee insult my friend after he left the store.
