A later addition to the place across the road from Watertown mall, this one was even those days a bit more pricy. Now it is far more glitzy, and one almost forgets the original purpose of malls when one visits the new glitzy ones. Watertown Mall was everything a mall was originally supposed to be - a place where one could do necessary shopping (so there was a supermarket and at least one store to buy reasonably priced clothing and other household necessities), a couple of places one could stop and eat if one needed or wished to (pizza, frozen yogurt that was new then), and benches around central greenery amidst the aisle that connected the stores so one could rest if needed or wished, perhaps with a cup of coffee. The new glitzy malls have little on offer to rest and often no stores for necessities shopping, only high priced glamorous and often not quite useful clothes and accessories, and one is expected to walk in, do little or no browsing and out with or without shopping - seemingly they do not care. I have memories of waiting for an hour in freezing rain at bus stop after shopping for necessary stuff at Watertown Mall, or in cold winds in winter at bus stop near Fresh Pond Mall - but the new glitzy ones are for those that can park, hop in, buy a couple of things for a hundred or so, and leave, unless they indulge in ice cream (not food that sustains but only tantalises and leaves one unsatisfied).

I always find myself coming here even though I have been here multiple times already! I love how theres lot to look at and eat here.Shops varies from exotic mushroom and truffle shop, meat shops, dim sum to wine tasting and olive oil tasting. Theres also a lot of food varieties there varying from sandwiches to oysters and Chinese food. You can finish off your food journey with a cup of blue bottle coffee or ice cream from Humphrey buncombe!

Looked online to see what the hours were and its open until 9 on Tuesdays so I went after work around 630. Decent store selection but I couldnt actually shop at any of them because everything besides Marshall was closed. Wish I knew that before I sat in traffic to get there. Would not recommend going during the week if you want to actually go into any stores.

This was THE mall to go to back in the late 80s. So busy. Went in for the first time in about twelve years, and it was really sad to see what it has become. Many vacant storefronts, little to no shopping. One of the anchors recently went out of business, which Im sure didnt help.

It seems like it is going through some updates, which is great. It used to be a really awesome place to shop and was considered one of the better local malls to go to. It is open during all of the changes, which is great. I hope it gets back to where it once was.

This isnt a very big mall and it is currently shrinking due to the upcoming construction project. There are only a few big stores left like the Old Navy and Marshalls. Most of the smaller stores in the middle and the large Forever XXI are shut down for now.

Currently pretty desolate considering theyve closed most of the stores while they re-do the mall. Few stores and the food court are open though. Hopefully the new Arsenal Yards will be a nice mall with a bigger selection of stores than there used to be.

The Arsenal Mall is not what it used to be. Most of the old stores closed. The mall is pretty quiet and there is not much variety if store. You might find some good deals in some stores, but overall its not a mall to go and spend a lot of time in.

It is a project. Just not for the better of it. The exterior decorations (around the mall) are too industrial, and modern looking for a mall that is not. There is no real theme, and many stores have closed here. Its not what it was.

Not a bad little mall. Prices are more affordable than those in Newton or Natick/Framingham. Food court is a little lacking, but there is a Chipotle downstairs and a decent sandwich/panini shop upstairs.

I only go to the Old Navy outlet store. The rest of the mall sort of feels like a continuous work in progress. The only bathroom is near the food court which is quite far from a lot of the mall.

They have a great selection of places to buy clothing, electronics, and food. Go spend a few hours there walking around or check out the food court. It looks like a basketball arena.

This used to be a nice mall but now 80% of the stores are closed. Theres no point to visit it. The only good thing about this mall is that it is a piece of modern history.

It will be interesting to see what happens after the construction, but for now this mall is pretty barren, now that Old Navy is gone I really have no reason to go there.

This is a dying mall. Lots of mediocre stores but is home to a forever 21 and Marshalls. It is about to undergo a makeover which will hopefully improve the offerings

There are a few stores in here worth going to but what Im most disappointed in is the building itself, which used to be an armory and is now a very drab mall.

Small for a mall, but it has the essentials. Convenient bus line and sufficient parking. Good for walking laps when the weather outside is misbehaving.

Lots of parking. Unfortunately the shopping mall isnt the same that it was about ten years ago. There has been a great decline in the quality of stores

the mall makes you feel very awkward. and they have awful stores such as a testing store where you receive 5 dollars to get a needle stuck through you

The mall itself is sad with a lot of stores that have closed, the food court leaves a lot to be desired although there is a chipotle separately.
