nice place but i HATE the Layout its always congested with Traffic from Routes 16, 28, and 99 all within about a .25 of each other all of these major roads are FILLED with cars/traffic and Buses and people pretty much ANY time of the day you are right near the Wellington T Station and 5 bus routes pass this place all of them bypass except the 97 & 99 ( Saturdays only) which i REALLY hate this place needs AT LEAST one other bus that 97 is Limited and TERRIBLE it stops after 6/7 o clock so after you are forced to walk back (OR to the Nearest Bus stop which is a 5 minute walk away near the Best Buy but with traffic its tricky to get to so watch out! people FLY on RT 16!) unless you have a car and people in this area mainly take the Bus because it is SO close they need to add more transit! other than that its OK nothing too special it has your Basics like Home Depot Target, Famous Footwear Old Navy Panera Petsmart Costco Office Depot Sleepys and a few others that arent really that interesting whoever designed this place didnt do a great job for people who dont drive! i dont even see islands in the parking lot which can be very dangerous but apart from that if you need to do a little shopping your OK there is a few places after this Center and Boston Wellington Malden and Sullivan stations are all within 10-15 Mins away the farthest being Malden but with no traffic its fairly close so the area isnt too bad. you are also not far from Medford, Chelsea And Charlestown none of these places are more than 1-2 miles away.

This place gets really packed on weekends and weeknights, so plan on it taking a bit of time to get in and out of the parking lots. There is only one main entry and exit point so that gets pretty clogged up at times. There are a variety of stores here of the big box type: Target, Costco, Home Depot, and so on. Good for getting a lot of errands done at once. Its not very walkable which is a bit of a downside, but few people who go to these stores walk or bike, so thats probably okay - more of an issue with how malls are built in suburbs than anything particular to this one. Typical strip mall big box store experience.

Designed to be accessed only by car. Pedestrians from nearby neighborhoods scramble up an eroded dirt pathway behind the huge sign welcoming motorists to the shopping center. Now theres an opportunity to create pedestrian access via a new bike path that terminates near the shopping center, but dense vegetation blocks the last 50 feet. Leveraging this opportunity for their neighbors does not appear to be a priority with the owners of the Gateway Shopping Center.

The gateway center is a bunch of big box stores grouped together. While its convenient to have these places so close to home, and the parking is ample, its not that easy to get there when route 16 is both under construction and experiencing heavy traffic. On the weekends, the place tends to become busy. Entering it is easier than leaving, to the point where you may have taken only twenty minutes to shop but its going to take at least 30 to actually leave the center.

I love shopping at the Gateway Center from Home Depot, to Total Wine and More, to Cosco, to Target, to Bath & Body Works, to Famous Footwear, to Pet Smart, to Dress Barn, to Babies R Us....there is always a store to fit my needs. My Mom also goes to the Verizon store and Panera Bread. But, the best restaurant around is located there....Texas Roadhouse. I frequent that restaurant with my family all the time. Meg the Manager is awesome !!

Good shopping center, Costco, Target, Home Depot etc. But inconvenient to access, only one bus #97 psaaby once every hour. Could walk from Wellington Subway station for 15 minutes, but never do it in winter. Walking across the bridge is the most horrible experience. You felt the bridge will collapse every second while big trucks rolling passing beside you on bridge.

I mainly visit this Center to go to Checky e cheese with my kids to play some games and have a fun time. Location is very nice and plenty of parking space is available. Other major stores like Target, Cosco and HomeDepot are also avalilable. It has the only branch of the "Texas road house" restaurant in Boston which is very nice.

Be advised trying to get into the center can be a bit complicated because of the way the rotary is set up that serves as the entrance. Otherwise... Depot, Target, Costco, babies R us, TGIFridays and many more. Not only do they have all these stores but all these stores are the biggest and best of the retail stores in the area.

I didnt know this place has a name until recently but we have been visiting this place quite often recently. This is due to this place having big box stores such as Costco, Target, Home Depot, and Babies R Us. Theres plenty of parking but I think the roads could be laid out better.

Nice selection of stores. Local bus service could be better as only one bus comes through this area and it does not have the best schedule. Last bus is around 7 pm. On weekdays it runs every 30 min or so. On Weekends its every hour. Gets VERY busy here during the Christmas season.

Nice variety of chain shops: Target, PetSmart, Old Navy, Home Depot, etc. Also, some casual chain restaurants and Chuck E Cheese. Good for some one stop shopping. The nearby main roads can be a little crazy, so try to go during off-times to avoid the traffic messiness.

There are a number of good shops here, but the traffic engineering is absolutely horrid. on busy days it can take 45 minutes to get out of the one road exit. The parking is good, wide spots and never really a problem finding one.

Great shopping plaza! They have Target, Costco, Fridays, Texas Road House, Panera, Ulta and so much more. PLENTY of parking, a drop of location to donate goods, and lots of space. Getting in and out is easy.

Why do I like it? Ulta, Target, Texas Roadhouse, Fridays and the list goes on. I wouldve given it 5 stars but public transportation around there is still kind of tricky especially after 7:00 p.m.

Good selection of shops (Hope Depot, Costco, new liquor superstore), but the traffic flow of this place is horrendous. I cant understand the one way in / one way out set up they have.

Good "suburban" selection of retail stores: Target, Costco, TGIFridays, DSW, Home Depot, Petsmart, Total Wine, Bath & Body Works, etc. Traffic can be pretty heavy on the weekend
