The staff are fantastic, the store is beautiful!! But Petcos emphasis on all "premium" brand foods (they are next to Whole Foods) is just not realistic- especially considering the area and population they serve. (Whole Foods bought a chain of stores, which is why that market became one- it ALSO would be better as a "regular" grocery). Petco has a tiny- I mean like three shelves, 5 ft wide- of a very limited selection, literally in the back corner of the store, of canned "regular" food- and one or two bags of "regular" dry. Sure, in a perfect world, I would love to feed my animals premium food, and if I had one or two I was responsible for, I would, but Im feeding...at the time of this review- between mine, the "ferals" that are now here to stay, it looks like, and the "porch cat" living on the porch- lets see...8!! So no- no "premium" for this crew!! Its a bummer, I was thrilled when I saw Petco going in 500 yds away...until I saw their inventory. I think they really need to re-think that...(again, fantastic staff- 5⭐‼
