Maybe the problem is that we just moved here recently from the Midwest. Dont misunderstand me - we LOVE it here - its an improvement over Indiana in a thousand ways. But our first attempt at dog grooming has been a complete disaster. Ill skip over the rudeness of everyone I encountered there - that seems to be almost the norm today everywhere. The problem began when I called to make an appointment: 11:30 a.m. I brought our sweet doggie on time and was eventually ushered back to an extremely crowded small room. In this room were 8 or 10 dogs packed into very tiny cages, all whining, yelping, and barking. We stood in the midst of this for about 10 minutes with no information, no place to sit down (Im handicapped) and no ear plugs! Eventually the "groomer" came out. She proceeded to take our dog to put her in an itsy-bitsy cage in which she could never stand up or even turn around. I stopped her and said that we had an appointment. I soon found that an appointment means absolutely nothing at this place. My dog was to be stuffed into an inhumane little cage where she would wait for,,,,minutes? hours? all afternoon? - who knows! for her bath. Then, of all things, the "groomer" said that she would be stuffed (my word) BACK into the little cage after her bath to wait until she is dry! With our dog, that would take several hours or even days! At this point Id had it, of course, and I simply took my dog and left, as I assume anyone who cares about their pet would do. My question is this: I know for certain that no reputable dog groomer in the Midwest would even consider the idea of treating dogs this way. An appointment is an appointment there and there are no little cages in sight.You bring your pet in at the previously scheduled time, wait in the seating area where you can watch while your dog is bathed, groomed, and blow-dried, pay, and then take your dog home. Dogs dont always love this process, but they arent treated with cruelty. Surely there must be places in wonderful New England where dogs can be cared for properly............?

This store does not stand behind their dog food. I purchased food a week ago and was told it was returnable "with the managers permission ". My dog got sick and threw up. They had inadvertently put on the computer, under my name, "no returns accepted ". Pet smart, Chewey and Amazon have an amazing return policy as you dont know if the food agrees with your dog until you buy it. I would highly suggest Polka Dot Bakery or some other store that is professional and good to their customers! This store is pure aggravation-and unless you want to waste your hard earned money, I suggest you shop elsewhere !

this is a nicer looking pet store than most and they do have some stuff that I havent been able to find elsewhere, however I found the staff (with the exception of 1 person) to be quite unhelpful and unknowledgeable. I would recommend Coolens instead as Ive found the staff to be very knowledgeable and honest about their products.

First time visiting this shop today. They are a bit pricey but so helpful! I explained my cat food delima and the gal suggested dehydrated food and explained how to feed it. My finicky cats Love it!! Im so happy. The gals also turned me on to the yaks milk dog bones. My chihuahuas are happy now too.

I buy all my supplies and get my dog groomed here. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They greet you everytime you come in and answer all my questions. The groomers are super nice and do a wonderful job. I highly recommend stopping in and checking them out.

This pet store has an amazing selection. I shop for my cat. Although the prices are a little higher, I can find lots of different flavors of can food that my cat loves.

This is a great place with many services available for the pet owner with friendly helpful staff. The only problem is this place is mega expensive!
