I have been a customer of Yesteryear for years, starting with the first bike I choose for myself in 1993, a GT Mach One BMX! I am still a customer to this day. I tried other shops when I lived in another state, but I missed this place, glad to be back. These guys really stand behind their products! They are also extremely knowledgeable, it seems like every single one of them has been in the bike business for 15 + years. Just before the beginning of every season, I drop my bike off early to get a tune up and beat the rush. (Found out the hard way one year, that everyone brings their bikes in the first nice weekend of the year.) I love the hanging bike museum. Dont get your stuff online or at Walmart!!! Support your local bike shop (LBS), because the online guys cant service your bike and the Walmart bikes barely last a season. (To the guy complaining about a repair being too much, hey man parts are expensive as is labor, that is why having your car fixed is expensive as well. For me, I enjoy the peace of mind knowing that my bike has been properly serviced when I am going really fast down a dirt hill, I like to know that when I need to stop, that my built isnt going to fail me!)

Obviously Mr. Burden is unhappy AND un-informed !!! Sir if you had read the bottom of your claim check/estimate slip... the last line SKU is "EST" description ... "ESTIMATE" The additional $17 which you feel was unfairly "ADDED" to your bill was for 2 teflon lined brake cables which were necessary to make your bicycle, which was getting a "complete" tune up, SAFE. Our company has been in business since 1920 run by the same family all that time... WHY ??? because we pride ourselves on fair, prompt and unparalleled sales and service. Chris if you feel you were "ripped off" then I welcome you back to the store where I will gladly refund your overcharge. Kim Camara President

I Purchased a new mountain bike just about a month ago. After riding it a few times the free hub had broken (No fault of the business). I sent an email explaining my situation and then asked if it would be possible to have it fixed asap. I received a email response within the hour letting me know that they would fix it the following day and apologized for what happened even though it was no fault of theres . The email said they would work around my schedule and my time frame and get me back on the trail as soon as possible. THIS IS WHY THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR YEARS, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING !!

They will take advantage of you for everything they can when it comes to servicing your bike. I brought in a bike for a new brake line and chain/cassette they charged me $160 whats even worse os that the receipt said it only cost 143 but they rang it out as 160 do not go there of you need something repaired they are crooks

I came into the store in search of the perfect summer cruiser. Both of the men working were helpful, knowledgable and polite. After taking the bike for a little spin in the parking lot, I fell for a Schwinn. I will be back to pick up a few accessories such as a basket and lock. Thanks again Yesteryear!
