If you are a Pro rider, or just jumping into cycling - go to Fit Werx. The staff is incredible. Think "bike geeks", which I say as a complete complement. I recently used their services for a new bike fit, and I was completely impressed by their knowledge, the process, how complete their fitting was - and they listened! They took time to understand me, how I intended to ride, my fitness level, my injuries...incredible. After my detailed fitting results - which they give to you on a USB drive - they worked to find me a great bike, which I decided to buy through them. Although I am a big "online get the best deal" type of shopper, I felt they got me a great deal, and the perks I get from buying through them are unrivaled. For one example, those of you who raise $$ for charity, they will donate 3% of what you spend with them to your charity of choice. Great perk from some great guys. Also, after just riding my new bike for a few rides, I realized I needed a new saddle. I called them, same day they saw me, fit me for a new saddle with a very intense process using pressure point analysis - and off I went. With the peace of mind that they will trade this one out for another one if this one does not work! It took very little time, they provide great service - they even tightened the minimal cable stretch I had from my first few rides. This group is AWESOME. I never write reviews but felt this was a must to let people know about my experience.

In returning to cycling after a long absence, I knew based on my previous racing and riding experience the importance of having a bike that fits right. From my research on the Fit Werx website (which is a wonderful resource in its own right) to my initial conversations with Marty, as well as visiting several other shops that claimed to offer bike fitting services, I knew that Fit Werx was the right place for me. I had a fitting with Dean on July 14th and he exceeded all of my expectations. We had a conversation about my experience, goals and plans for cycling before diving into the fitting process. Dean took the time to answer all of my questions (including several I didnt know I had) was extremely thorough, and explained what he was doing for each step of the process. You can tell that he enjoys his work, particularly when he was tweaking frame dimensions and geometry by a mm here and a quarter of a degree there to design a bike around me. The topic of specific bikes never came up until after the entire fitting was complete. Fit Werx really does focus on the rider first. I left their shop in Peabody feeling informed, educated, and armed with the knowledge that my new bike will fit me and my riding style perfectly. If youre looking for a bike, or just want to see if your current bike and position are dialed in, I cant recommend Dean, Marty and the team at Fit Werx highly enough.

You can buy a bike anywhere, what really matters are the people, the people who connect with you and want to put you on the bike that is the right bike for you. Of all the people in the "industry" you will not find a better team than Marty & Dean Co-Owners of FitWerx2. What is really great about their store is not just the selection they offer which is off the charts, but it is also the services and the people who they work with and have as part of their team, Geoff is one of the best fitters around & Mark is so good with a wrench he should be with a professional team. If this isnt enough to get you to drive to Peabody Ma, make sure at the very least to check out their website, they have done a great job with product reviews, helpful information, local events & keeping all subcribers up to date on current happenings at the store and at special events. Last but certainly not least is the way in which Marty and Dean give back to the community, if every small business owner was a generous as these two, the world would be a better place, take a look yourself this is not some verbal hyperoboly; there is not a better Bike store around in my opinion and year after year has been voted one off the best shops in the country by customer & industry peers alike. I have a local bike shop and that bike shop is FitWerx2.

There is none quite like Fit Werx. What attracted me to this bike shop were their fitting services, technologies, and their knowledge and experience. My fitting appointment gave me confidence, but honestly, I had no idea just how seriously their initial commitment to me would mean. They had a beautiful bike built to my specifications, but for some strange reason there was a problem that kept reoccurring every 500-800 miles, the cause of which could not be diagnosed. Fit Werx was determined to fix the problem, and at some point even if it meant building me a new bike. They were extremely diligent and compassionate. In the end, they worked with the manufacturer who agreed to redesign the bike. I never expected this level of commitment and remain forever humbled by their integrity and passion for excellence. All I really ever wanted was to be able to ride a century and not feel miserable the rest of the weekend. Now I feel comfortable enough to take my bride out to a nice dinner afterwards. Something she deserves for allowing me to pursue my passion. Thank you Fit Werx. Youve given me so much more than the ability to pursue a passion. You are a testimony to the great small businesses that are the foundation of this great country.

Fit Werx is a local bike shop, located in Peabody, MA. Recently, my girlfriend and I went in to have our bikes tuned up for the season. Her bike is only several years old, while mine is over 14 years old. Both bikes were tuned up in short order. My bike runs better now than it did new. On our first ride, I told her this. She said the same. On a subsequent visit, the staff took the time to explain the different types of bikes they sold, as well as their different uses. After realizing my bike did not fit me well, and even though it is a decent bike, I opted to purchase another bike from them. I chose a Trek DSII. the staff will be personally fitting me to the bike to ensure a perfect fit and use. All of the staff there are both bike enthusiasts and experts. they are great folks with a great attitude. Friendly and knowledgeable, I highly recommend Fit Werx for both maintenance as well as sales. they are clearly the best both my sweetheart and I have ever been to. Harry S.

Fit Werx is truly awesome. The $ spent on the fit is worth its weight in gold - and I got the $ credited when I bought my bike through them. I could not be more satisfied with my bike and the fit that came with it. Their atttention to me during the buying process was second to none. Friends of mine told me to go to Fit Werx and get the fit before I decided on a bike - which did not make sense at the time. I kicked a lot of tires out there, test drove a lot bikes before I finally went to Fit Werx. They spent about 3 hours with me and then - based on the fit and my riding style and goals - they gave me a few options. I ride around 3,000 miles a year and since I purchased my new bike from them, I no longer have lower back pain and my hands dont get numb when I ride. So, I have 100% peace of mind that I have the perfect fit and bike for my needs. These guys are truly revolutionary. Thank you Fit Werx!
