I feel bad for other girls who had a bad experience. I, of course can only review on how my appointment went. I had a 10am appoinment on a Saturday and the girls there were SO wonderful. Ill admit when I first drove up my expectations werent very high. The window display was very "ghetto" and the dresses were pretty ugly. Plus the shop is VERY small, so are the dressing rooms which is why I only gave it 4 stars. They should think about relocating to a larger shop. Anyway, my first impressions were shattered after I started trying on dresses. I came in with only a few dresses in mind and they did have one in stock but i ended up not liking it. They brought me 10 more dresses and everyone was beautiful, making it very hard to choose. The girls were so attentive, even on a busy saturday. I was never rushed or pressured. They did their best to make me and my friends feel comfortable and welcome (even in a cramped area). And I was able to try on a lot of dresses in a small amount of time (which is what i wanted). I ended up find my dress and veil that day and am very happy with both. I was very pleased with my visit and would reccommend it to anyone on a budget. IF you dont mind small spaces.

This business is horrible. They sold me a wedding dress and claimed basic alteration would be included in price. Instead of a normal cut and hem, they pulled all of the insides of the dress up, bunched it up and sewed it leaving a bulge in the center. The made a corset back and only sewed on one corner of the back piece which should have been sewn all the way down. They said they wanted the money within two weeks before the wedding but then all of a sudden they wanted the money almost two months before with no more sizing to be done. They completely messed up this one!!! Even said they would have some alterations done when I went back after purchasing the dress and sizing it to me.... no alterations had been done. What was the point of even going back?! They wanted another payment toward the dress, thats why. Horrible service, bad communication and unprofessional seamstress. Please save yourself the time and hassle.

I went to this store just window shopping with my mom. They treated me like a queen as soon as i walked in the door. They listened to what i wanted and pulled out fifty dresses that were what they thought i would like! they had me try on dress after dress and finally i spotted my dream dress on the dressing room door, i pointed and out she came with it! not only did i feel like a princess but the price was fabulous! Though, they were great there, i am still awaiting my dress to return from being altered. its been two months and no dress. MY prom is not even two weeks away! and we dont know if its going to fit. They are trying i hope to get my dress in, but its not looking so good. Otherwise, it is a cute and cozy store and i loved the attenction they gave me! try this store out it might be the one for you.

One Saturday my mother-in-law decided to take a ride out to The Special Event Bridal Shoppe. It had been the first shoppe we started with. As soon as I walked through the door, the staff was very Knowledgeable. They knew the right questions to ask and preceded to bring a few wedding dresses that I might like based on our conversation. It tried on 5 dresses and I knew which one I wanted. They helped add accessories to make the dress even stand out more. They set dates for measurements, try on after the measurements. I would highly recommend this store, yes it was small but the area they had secluded for Brides was big enough because thats what this store is all about, the Brides. The others who made poor remarks, disregard them because theyre simply not true in my opinion.

I bought a bridesmaid dress here and had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the dress arrived on time. I needed alterations and they were able to do them quickly and for a very reasonable price. I was very happy with the service. I also have to say that their attitude was refreshing. They did not tell me I looked wonderful no matter what. They saw a problem with the way the dress fit me and told me which I completely appreciated! When I had the final fitting the dress was a little loose and they were able to take it in on the spot--wonderful quality sewing. They also told me what type of undergarments would work best with the dress (they werent trying to sell them to me, it was free advice). These women know their business!

Last year my friend and I had gone there to look for prom dresses. The store itself was so unorganized and messy making it hard to get around. The ladies who worked there were also so rude to us. It was probably based on the fact that we were not exactly thin like the other girls they were actually trying to help. I would recommend staying away from this shop, it is a mess and they are not helpful what so ever!

I called Special Event Bridal Shoppe inquiring about a few dress question. I had not decided if I was going to be ordering my bridal party dresses through the shop yet and because I had not decided they would not answer my questions both the Owner and the Manager hung up on me and had raised their voices. Even when in the shop they are very pushy. I would not choose this shop ever.

Wow what a surprise. I cant say my expectations were very high only because so far dress shopping has been a nightmare with very few shops to choose from. Thankfully, really nice ladies, different dresses with a good variety to choose from. Convenient location too. A bit crowded and needs to be spruced up a bit but an great experience all around.

Could not have asked for better attention. I truly felt like a queen with such bright attendees and perfect customer service. I have visited all the other bridal shops around in the area and I found this place with the best selection for the really good prices. I recommend it greatly! Thank you Special Event Bridal Shop! I recently purchased my Allure bridal gown here and it is absolutely beautiful. The alterations came out perfect and the shop owner and staff were very accommodating. I had a very positive experience here. They have a really nice selection of wedding gowns and dresses for other formal occasions.

Great experience at this shop! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I went in for bridesmaid dresses and they had great suggestions for dresses that would fit multiple body types. They made ordering them easy. Not sure about alterations as the dresses have not come in yet.

What a positive experience we had in this shop. They were helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend this shop to everyone!!!!! Best service in all of Massachusetts!! I would have saved myself a ton if time if I shopped here first!!!!!
