The lady working there seemed quite nice over the phone, and I was excited to see what they had to offer. I walked in and stated my budget was between 300-400. Not extravagant, but doable. She asked me what styles I liked and I stated ballgowns and A-Line dresses. She laughed at me and said I wont find anything. I told her I already did. I should have walked out then, it only got worse. I then picked out many dresses, and despite me telling her I am a size 6, she constantly picked out 10s and 12s and most didnt fit me. Nearly every dress she picked out for me was well into the 800s range, and I repeatedly told her it was not in my price range. I then went to go try the dresses on, and me being a modest woman, I like my privacy, got undressed and put my arm out of the curtain for the first dress. She ripped the curtain open and tried to help me. I immediately shut it and she opened it again, stating I was shy. I shut it one more time and she opened it AGAIN. I nearly broke the mirror on the wall I slammed it shut so hard. She then stated I was shy again and said she was only doing her job and this is what they do everywhere. Uh... no? So then she wouldnt let me touch the dresses, wouldnt let me unzip the dresses myself and bitched the whole time that I was making them dirty and not handling them correctly. So after finding maybe one that I liked out of all the dresses, I told her I would have to think about it because they were a bit out of my price range. She then said that "you cant put a price on the right dress." Uh... when you make $11.50 an hour, yes you can. I told her its really important to me to stay near my price range because I dont make a whole lot of money. She then stated, wait for it, "well then maybe by the time you get married youll have a job where you do make enough." WHAT? No. Nooooo no no. I almost walked out in my skivvies right then and there. Horrible place. I really feel bad for any woman whose first experience dress shopping is here, I swear its not that bad. Dont go here. Ever.

I just went there to get a slip for my first wedding dress fitting. I made it EXTREMELY clear to the owner that I was unsure about the size I needed as I hadnt seen my dress in a month and Im not a wedding dress expert.. She insisted I get the largest one (i.e. the more expensive one) which was fine, I probably couldve just got the smaller one if I had been willing to argue with her more. I spent $80 and went on my way, feeling as though Id just been shoved around but, having such a high tolerance for pushy salespeople, I was fine. The real problem happened when, after it didnt look right under my dress, I tried to return it 3 days later. Apparently, (and this was never mentioned, nor were there signs) she doesnt let you return them because you could use them to get married and try and return them right after to make your money back.. If she had said that, (I had given her plenty of openings when explaining that I was unsure about how it would fit under my dress) it wouldnt have been a big deal. I would have either insisted on the smallest one or not purchased it at all. What I am angry about is the lack of disclosure when buying it and the rudeness I was treated with when trying to return it. She runs a shop but acts as though she is bothered by customers. Seems to be right in line with the other bad review.. Just be careful if you decide to shop at that rude, cramped store for your big day.

As a first time bride I went to this place for my first time trying on dresses ever, this woman knew I wasnt planning on buying today and she looked at my mother and I said she should just tell us to go home and lock the doors when we first walked in. I shouldve turned around at that point because it got worse. She wouldnt let me take pictures of the dresses I tried on, I wasnt allowed to try on shoes with the dresses (because it would damage the dress) I stood on a stool in order to see the dress almost fell twice, yelled at me, my mom and my maid of honor for touching the dress because of fear of getting makeup on it or a stain of some sort. I itched my neck and then pulled the dress up to get off the plastic stool that was ready to break she handed me a tissue said no no no, please dont touch the dress youll make it dirty. She also proceeded to call me fat. The BEST part of this whole appointment was walking out! If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE WHAT SO EVER!!!!!!!

the worst store in the area i bought dress for baptsm and i told to the owner i didns see yet the baby but she was about 9 months, they gave me dress for 2 years girl but i was like ok I take and if is to big ill return, no answer, so I went on saturday to chicago for the ceremony ofcourse dress was too big was cute but too big and I come back on monday afternoon so next day i went to the store and try to return and ( this was never mentioned, nor were there signs) she doesnt let you return them because you could use them and try and return them right after to make your money back. If she had said that, (I explained her that I was unsure about how it would fit a little baby that i didnt see her yet only from the pictures) it wouldnt have been a big deal. I would have either buy the smallest one or not purchased it at all. i was looking on smaller and cheeper but she pushed me to buy this for over $120 because she knew there is no returns, no recommended at all

This arrogant woman is a disgrace to business women in Worcester County. She should be shut down. She is a crook, thief, shyster and liar. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HER. Thankfully, I read these reviews before I let her butcher my dress so I saved myself that anguish but I know she ripped me off and even tried to claim I didnt pay for something I did. Her costs for alterations are criminal and thankfully I got my dress out of there before she could destroy it. I was unaware that she did the alterations because she lied and told me her seamstress sets the prices. HA, she was the crook lying about the costs. I have never had to deal with such a rude and arrogant person. Bridal gown shopping is supposed to be a wonderful experience and she makes it a nightmare. Everyone of the reviews here speak the truth. DONT SHOP HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THANK YOU ALL FOR THESE REVIEWS AND SAVING ME FROM WEDDING GOWN DESTRUCTION. RUN FROM THIS SHOP, DONT WALK. BEWARE!!!

End result: I drove one hour and 20 minutes and HELEN, the owner, would not let me try the gown on. I called Alexis trying to find a particular dress to try on; I had tried 15 places before her and was quoted a price of $378 for the gown. I told Helen this and asked what her price was. She said "More than that" and refused to quote me a price over the phone. SO I said I would come in and try the dress, get her price and hopefully be able to work with her. Helen was surly, rude and mean, stating she was "exhausted" with people trying her dresses and then buying elsewhere. Her price was $455 and she refused to make any kind of deal with me, despite me telling her several times that I was willing to work with her on the price. Then she said if I wasnt going to buy the dress from her she would not let me try it on. Unbelievable.
