So back on the 3rd of August I dropped my truck off to get the Service Stabilitrak light checked out and have them do my MD Inspection. Get a call from Justin (service manager? Not sure) saying my truck has been wrecked. I guess a customer ran into the truck.... Even though the dealership isnt responsible they offer to pay for everything. Seems odd but hey, Ill take it. Quite a bit of damage (taillight, bumper, tailgate, quarter panel) Truck should be finished early the following week. This is where things get annoying. I call Justin Tuesday the 9th to get an update. Its pretty late so hes gonna call the body shop Wednesday and let me know something. Also, my new bumper is in and new taillight will be in the following day. Its Thursday the 11th and still no call. Again, I call Justin for an update. The truck is at the body shop but finished. Parts just came in and truck should be finished Friday. No call Friday. I call late in the day and Justin is gone for the day. Message will be left on his desk. Saturday the 13th I get a call from someone pretending to be Justin. My truck is in the service bay. They arent even sure why its there and dont have any keys to it.... (WHAT??). They literally only knew it was my truck because they called my realtor whos card was in my center console. Getting ridiculous at this point. Finally talk to Justin. Some kind of misunderstanding. Parts again "just came in" and the truck will be ready Monday. Now its Monday the 15th. No call... I call Justin for an update. Hes gone home from the day and theyll leave a message for him to call me Tuesday. Tuesday around 530pm and no call from Justin. I call and apparently the parts just got in (again) and the truck should be done on Wednesday the 17th.... First let me say that I realize they cant speed up the body shop. Im not annoyed about the time. Over and over Ive been told that the parts "just came in". The only time theyve called me is to tell me my truck was wrecked and when they didnt even know why my truck was at the dealership. They continue to say theyll call me with an update but never do. All I ask for is honesty. If its going to be a while tell me. If you say youll call me with an update then do it. If the parts arent in yet just say, "the parts arent in yet". Ive never had an issue with any Chevrolet dealership until now. Hopefully Ill get my truck back soon but I can guarantee Ill never be back to Waldorf Chevy. Update... Wednesday the 17th. Truck isnt finished. Final part is coming in tomorrow. (How many times with this parts story?) Truck should be finished tomorrow.

I wanted so desperately to purchase my 2015 ATS from the Waldorf location because Waldorf is my home base. The management team here is disjointed and are extremely poor at communication. I placed a deposit on a 2015 ATS back in early May and was told the vehicle would be ready within 6-8 weeks. By week 7, I reached out to the dealership for an update. No response, no follow-up. By week 8, I called again and left messages. My phone calls were returned but no information was provided, just for me to call them back. I finally went in to see the salesman and manager for the return of my deposit. Upon meeting the manager, he explained that the manufacturer was no longer making 2015s. You would think someone would have called back in May to make this claim but oh well. (poor communication) During our conversation, the sales staff eagerly searched for a vehicle as I sat in the managers office. They found a ATS and the manager worked up a deal on paper that was acceptable to me. I sat in his office while he placed a phone call to the dealership and left a message inquiring about the vehicle. I decided to keep the deposit on Waldorfs books and waited to hear back because I was told that the vehicle would be there on Tuesday. Tuesday came, and no phone call or communication so I called once again on Wednesday for a status. I was then told to come get my deposit because it was ready for pick up since Tuesday. What was confusing to me was the manager contacted the other dealership and discussed bringing the car up. Something went awry and the communication (what communication?) broke down again because I had no car and no one followed up as to why the car was not brought to the MD dealership. The manager wasted my time and his time. I dont understand why one would write out a purchase order, call the dealership to have the vehicle driven to MD from VA, and then turn around and tell me to pick up my check when the ultimate goal was to purchase the vehicle in the state of MD! I would never recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a vehicle. The manager was very shady and unprofessional. Happy news - I drove down to Suttle Cadillac in Newport News and purchased that exact vehicle that Waldorf Chevrolet Cadillac found for me. The trip was not in vain as I was going down that way for my class reunion. I purchased the vehicle on the same day! What is disconcerting is I spoke with the manager at Suttle and they NEVER received a call from the Waldorf dealership. They said they had no problem getting this vehicle off their inventory. Waldorf Cadillac is shady! Dont do business there!!!

When I purchased the car the Used car sales folks were great. I brought the car back and the Used car sales Manager knew exactly what I was talking about. However having it repaired was another story. I was told to drive it for 1000 miles to give the lubricants a chance to work. Well I did. Did I say the car only had a 1000 mile warranty. Well they held me the 1000 mile warranty even though they told me to drive the car and what they did didnt fix the problem. I was informed I was now outside the warranty. I went to the local Cadillac dealer near me and they diagnosed the problem. Not only did I have to replace some solenoid that communicates with the transmission and the computer. (This was causing the the Stability Trac to kick on and sometimes shut the car off while driving or sitting at a still) They also discovered that the entire Rear differential had to be replace. This is a 2013 CTS Coupe 69000 miles when purchased. I had to spend $1000.00 to figure this out. I contacted GM Corporate Office for assistance. They stepped in and gave an assist. After holding my car a week, due to a Nation backlog on the Rear differential I asked for a loaner they honored that. Three weeks later I got my car back. They found even more wrong with the car they had to replace the transfer case. I wish I could end there. After all that they still didnt repair the Stability Trac problem. The other Dealership even provided the codes and informed them via the Cadillac network that provides your cars history with the codes. (P0101 ,P0100, U0101, Lost of Communication to TCM. They further wrote they had to drive the car for approx: 64 miles. They took the time to diagnose the vehicle. This was the other Cadillac Dealership. I guess my question is why didnt they (Waldorf Chevy/Cadillac) make theses repairs when the problem was identified prior to the 1000 mile/1 month warranty that they informed me that I had. The day after I picked up my car the Stability Trac issue was still there. I asked Waldorf Chevy Cadillac about the repair they said I have to bring it in for them to look at however it wasnt identified even though it was highlighted on my receipt that the car was stalling. They never even checked the issue there wasnt any time logged to diagnose the problem by them. Let the buyer beware!!!!
