Intrinsically this rather dismal evaluation is based primarily on the continuously poor representation that ive encountered since ive moved here four years ago from Montgomery County, and im referring principally, im truly sorry to say, to the Pharmacy. Because of the type of medications that are prescribed for me from my Doctor it has been suggested by the Pharmacist that i remind her every month to order it so it will be there when i arrive every month with the necessary paperwork. What im unable to establish is exactly WHY they are unable to simply stock it especially since ive been doing this for perhaps two years or so now. And what makes it even more disheartening is when i arrive, after walking for some distance in this frigid cold, like I did on the fourteenth, having just come all the way from Olney, where my Doctor is, only to be told that they didnt have it and would once again have to order it and that they would have it in a day or two! So i drag myself, very cold, tired, hungry and hurting, home, w/o the much needed meds, not knowing when ill have them. Sad thing is... this isnt the first time this has occurred.

I love this giant. Every time I go in there everyone is very friendly including the guard at the door. I always find everything I need and when I cant, one of the staff members is always willing to personally walk over and show me where to find what I am looking for. I love seeing Gail she is always smiling and has an amazing attitude. It is wonderful to see someone in this day and age take such care in her work. Watching her interact with all of her customers makes me smile because she shows genuine care for everyone she comes in contact with! Way to go my neighborhood Giant! keep up the good work!

What did I like about it, Google asks. I liked leaving. Too bad that the dirty, janky, overcrowded, understaffed store couldnt help me get out of their sooner. Or with better quality produce or meat. HIRE SOME REAL CASHIERS AND BAGGERS!!!! TAKE OUT THOSE STUPID, STUPID do it yourself checkouts. You havent saved me any money, youve only increased your profit margin and taken jobs away from the community. Get a REAL meat counter and stop stocking your produce section with food that looks like it was taken out of the dumpster and put on the shelf.

This review is for not just the store but to one of the employee named "Cordilius" , he was one of the best employee/ human being. I visited the store to pick up my sons birthday cake and unfortunately my car battery died on me. I went inside the store and found Cord, who was very professional and courteous to help me out without any hesitation. People like him make this world better!.

This location is less than two blocks from PG Plaza Metro station which is why I use it. The aisles are kind of tight and the lines get a little long sometimes in the middle of the day, but the shelves are always stocked and the self-checkouts always work. I cant say I enjoy my weekly trip, but I always get everything on my list and get out in a reasonable amount of time.

If I could I would give it no stars, said it opens at 6am it is now 6:20am and nobody is here NOT EVEN THE F****** MANAGER, like wth I need baby formula and this piece of S*** is not F****** open, the level of irresponsibility of these employees, There is no Manager, No assistant manager, nor no supervisor nor no damn cashier.

I got lost around, where to find the things. It looks like they all do not follow the same structural and for a new comers it is difficult to know where to find what you are looking for. The staff were busy with themselves, (literally) however, I found someone from Giant staff to help me with what I was looking for

Excellent customer service was provided by a cashier on duty on 8.16.2017 by the name of Sharon. I was so impressed by how extremely polite, patient and courteous she was toward one customer in line ahead of me and continued to be so with me as well. Her efforts made my store experience and exceptional one.

This place is big and lots of stuffs ,you get what u want ,but few cashier working with long line ,plus self serving area the machine needs staff support specialy when you are paying for fruit and vegetables, lots of items to select from, the staffs are reluctant to assist you at this place.

What a disaster! I will drive by this place. Great idea, reduce staff, put in self check out lines and watch as one employee trys to handle the general public while manager and others turn their heads away from customers to discuss Redskins and their babies daddy.

One of the items I purchased was not in my bags. Will have to travel 30 minutes by bus for a $4 item Cashier should have bagged all items together rather than spinning the bag carousel so I thing was separated from the other 9 I purchased

All the staff have been amazing. All are very friendly, accommodating and professional. Store is clean, well stocked and there are never blocked isles... like my old local giant. I really enjoy this location and the staff.

Called in and asked if they carry E-Z pass - representative said yes. Went out of my way to go this store to get it - turns out representative had no idea what she was talking about. This store DOES NOT carry E-Z pass!

Expect surly employees, with at least two standing outside smoking; its nasty and rude but it will seem normal after a while. Its Giant and thats what you get for being too lazy to drive to Safeway.

Average metro area grocery store. Lines can be very long on weekends, and customer service is nearly nonexistent. I give it 3 stars because the deli staff is very engaged and knows their products.

Good place to get groceries, not much else to say. They do their job and serve their purpose as a grocery store. Shelves are always well stocked and the cashiers and staff are friendly.

Good store with great selection. It may not be as pretty as the Safeway down the street, but you can find what you need with pleasant service in half the time, and at a cheaper price.

Great selection and a very big store. Cell phone usage is impossible in this store. You have to stay up front or log into a public wifi.
