There is a reason this store is out of business. Took my pickup in to get a alignment after having my front end rebuilt. They gave me back my truck with the steering wheel turned to the left and my front axle sticking out past my drivers fender 4" and the passenger sins flush. After speaking with mgr. He said my truck is damaged and thats the best they could do. After looking under my truck I found my new stabilizer bar I paid $485 missing. It was replaced with a standard unit from the auto store. After pointing that out the mgr admits they had a problem and fixed it for no charge. To make a long story short. They dropped my truck on the lift and tried to cover it up and hide it by working on my truck for 2 days buying inferior local parts. Not only that. They tried to hide it from me, and stole my high performance parts witch were found in the back of there shop after questioning the mgr. He refused to do the alignment and fix the problem. I had to bring suit to Hagerstown auto center. Where upon they settled out of court and paid for the damage to my truck. This is why they are no longer in business!!! Treating people and there vehicles like this gets around fast in a small town!

Going out of business but are still opened so you would think that someone would wait on you. Went looking for a vacuum. We were the only customers in that department. There was 2 salesmen at the end of the isle and neither one of them asked us if we (2 females ... one over 50 years old and the other over 75 years old) needed any help with anything. We had to take the one vacuum that we wanted off of the chest high shelf. ... Then we went up to these 2 salesmen (who were talking to themselves about the weekend they had) and asked them if they would check us out to pay for the vacuum. They wouldnt. They sent us to another department ... The worst visit I have ever had at a Sears store!

Ed from the appliance department is a great, knowledgeable guy. He will do whatever it takes to answer your questions, and takes his time during a sale which makes it a please to do business. Managers should take note of Eds outgoing character, hes an asset to their store. Thanks again for your assistance with a mattress sale!

I have called then 7 times and spoken to 5 different people trying to simply get a price in bedding. In that process I was hung up on 4 times and incorrectly transferred 3 times. The bath and bedding department bender did answer the phone dispite letting it ring for nearly 6 minutes straight.

Its no surprise that Sears is not doing well. Every time I try to contact a department by telephone for assistance, no one answers. I guess Ill have to take my business to Lowes or Home Depot. Thats one major appliance sale lost to the competition due to unattended telephones.

My favorite Sears, close to home and covenant. They have an extremely good tool area and beat out Lowes most times on items carried. Sometimes higher sometimes lower on comparable items. Staff is extremely chatty and generally helpful.
