I dont usually write reviews like this because Ive worked in customer service for years and I know that there are days that you will be off and upset someone. It always happens. This really upset me. I went into Autozone today because they had a deal on Penzoil oil changes and I was planning on doing my oil change this weekend. I have a new Blazer. This will be my first time doing my oil change on Chevy. I realized I wasnt sure which oil filter I needed. There was a book in front of the oil filters, but the pages were torn up and pages were missing and I couldnt find anything past a 1984 Impala. I went looking for an employee to help me and found an employee that wasnt assisting anyone. I asked if he could help me and he looked at me and said, "Well did you bother to read the book? I cant help you if you didnt read the book." I just stared at him for a minute because his attitude caught me off guard. He shook his head at me and told me to follow him. He walked me back over to the book in front of the oil filters and said, "Its in here. You can read, right?" and walked away from me. I left and didnt purchase the oil change because I really dont appreciate your employees belittling me over something that is out of my control. I dont plan on returning to this store if that is how you allow your employees to talk to people.

Simply put. Unless you know they have lowest pric e and you dont need to ask ANY questions and your fine with grunting customer service Go anywhere but here. I came in asking for help about which headlight bulbs i needed and without getting to specific i asked about whether these were bulbs that would fix more than one issue i had. I got a shrug and told I dunno and tjen he pointed me bulbs. my Holding my temper i left and decided to stop by ome more place. Advanced auto parts a min away near best buy. Not only was the guy i worked with helpful he seemed knowledable.. And he knew where to look to find the answers. This employee then came OUTSIDE to my car and proceeded to replace bulb to make sure thats what it needed. When it worked he ran in and installed the other as well without expecting any renumeration for it. I didnt have to beg for help this guy just went far above my expectations based on other companies. Best part? All he charged me was parts. I really wish i had cash on me to give him something or at least call corporate and say how great this guy was. Bottom line. Advanced Auto Parts. Never Autozone again.

Worst freaking AutoZone ever goin to i call and talk to the parts counter and asked if they happened to have a part which i do have an older car and most of my parts they do have to order. And ive ordered many of parts from their stores in the past for the same exact vehicle. But this time it was different the guy had told me if i pay for my part by 4 oclock that my part would be in the next day by 3 oclock so i rushed up there wasting my time and money for something they lied to me about thinkin they was goin to be as convenient as they was saying. Well i call at 3, 5, 7, and 8 oclock still no part. Meanwhile my car is on the side of the road and could be towed at any point and time because i decided to use the worst AutoZone in Maryland. Im very disappointed with this location and will never be using them again thanks for ruining my day and time. Probably wont be using them for auto parts ay any location all because of this one horrible location.

Needed a battery for my wifes car in a hurry on a Sunday afternoon. When we got to the store it was packed. We asked about having it installed. They explained that since they were covered up that they wouldnt be able to do that at the moment and asked if wed like to return later. When we said that would be inconvenient they promptly offered to loan us the tools, which was a fantastic option. I had the battery changed myself in 5 minutes. There us an Advance Auto that is closer to us. However, a couple of years ago when we wanted to remover a battery from our truck to exchange with a brand new battery, they told us to remove the vehicle from their parking lot prior to removing the battery and to come back with the battery. We removed the truck alright and came here to AutoZone whereby hey took care of us. We love this store and the friendly caliber of salespeople we have dealt with here.

Justin was one of best guys to have help you. he worked the commercial side..but they let him go when they found out he was looking for a fed job. he was only one who would stop what hes doing to give you a hand. You would have known him by his mountain man beard and southern accent. He was kind, well-mannered, and caring young man who went out of his way to help people find what they werr looking for. He also had experience working on his own cars and was not just selling you something based off what some computer says. Dave, the store manager is a smart and super nice guy too. But the store and corporate did him worng by giving the kid a hard time just by checking for ways to better support his family. Shame on you AutoZone.

Had a guy look up my warranty for my end links I had bought there 4 months ago that were already clicking (low quality duralast or something). He couldnt find it in the system. Fair enough. I ask him I buy a new set can I bring the old ones in as a warranty claim for that set, shouldnt matter right? He told me no and told me it was "bad karma" (as far as im concerned selling me bad end links is bad karma). When he did go to find the end links in the back he brought me the wrong set that were way to long and told me those were it. I insisted otherwise and he gave me a hard time.... Regardless... waited a few days. Bought new set. Returned old ones in place under warranty... (it was a legit warranty issue)

I just walked out of this store due to terrible customer service. These guys are so rude and lazy, they refused to check the battery in my car. They told me I have to get the battery out of the car because they dont have mobile machine to test batteries. This is the first time I hear this at an autozone, this means they fake advertise at this location because they have the "free battery testing" signs haging on their front windows, but refuse to do so.

I easily waited 15 minutes in line, all as the first person in the line. Excessive wait times while the staff talked about who knows what with the other people in the store and on the phone. And not a single word of apology for the long wait. I came here for a quick convenience stop but would have saved a lot of time by driving out of my way to another store.
