The Bamboo Eater is my go to smoke shop in the DMV area. All of the staff are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and considerate. They have a great selection of all kinds of beautiful glass, whether youre looking for a simple hand piece or an elaborate rig. Every time Im in the store I am always impressed with the professionalism that the environment is steeped in. If youre looking for papers theyve got you covered, got a whole wall of em. Need a good stogie? Look no further, their fully stocked humidors should have everything you could want. They even have a small case with some great glass jewelry and other non functioning glass art.

I was gifted a vape that didnt work and I have no clue how to work them. I came into the store and was welcomed, I told them I had alot of questions and they were happy to answer every single one! Very knowledgeable and they dont try to upsale you or point you to the most expensive item. I let him know my needs and he gave me the exact product I needed. Also since it was my first time he gave me some matches with their store logo on them. He also gave me a pack of cigarette rolling papers, I dont use them but I have a friend who will appreciate them. Overall great experience; good customer service is so hard to find.

No matter how many times i go in to this store Im always amazed! From old, to new, to Brand Spankin new. and if that doesnt entice you they have 5 Star customer service that will have you coming back time again and again. if you have never been please find some time(mostly time to kill) bring some friends and just browse you will not be disappointed and the prices are just right, oh one thing watch out when your leaving the store they might throw some bargains at you just to keep you there fight it....or give in like me and my friends did and kept buying. When you walk in being watched is the only vibe you really get, cool stuff terrible customer service. Just something to chew on, I was holding trash in my hand, isnt the same as stealing, and when all of the store associates flock to your section to keep an extra eye on you, Makes you kinda think maybe they dont want certain people here, I hope management coaches around this because its an unacceptable way to run a business, making people feel unwelcome is a quick way to get shut down. Food for thought......

Very small selection and the prices are over blown. The employees are snobby and try to correct you for using the term "bong"; seriously guys u can say water pipe all you want to just refrain from correcting a customer on their choice of words. I never liked pure virtue but after experiencing crappy customer services here more than a few times, Id say go there, they are surprisingly cheaper and make their own "water pipes" now and they have cats to greet you!! I mean how cool is that lol.

Every time I have been to The Bamboo Eater I have been thoroughly impressed with their staff. Some of the friendliest most knowledgable people in the industry. Their selection of glass, cigars, hookahs, and e-cig supplies is astounding and the staff has always been able to help me find exactly what I need. Ive been to other tobacco shops in the area but none of them come close to The Bamboo Eater, simply the best around.

These guys are awesome. Prices are what they are. Theyre not always going to be the cheapest, but if you are looking for the cheapest price rather than having something in your hands, go to amazon or ebay. These guys will take good care of you and answer any questions in a friendly manner without any condescending tone. Thanks for running a great store!

Went in looking for a few cigars to enjoy with friends over the 4th and had a great experience. When I told him I was a beginner he helped me pick out a selection of different types to try, included a free cutter and cut me a good deal. The selection isnt mindblowing, no walk in humidor, but I will be back because of the service.

Friendly staff, werent intrusive while looking around but there to help when I had questions. Fair prices were clearly labeled on everything, making it easy to narrow down what I was looking for based on my price range. Overall, the store was easy to navigate and the staff was great. Will be shopping there in the future.

Excellent customer service! They have decent selection, but not super thorough, and of course, a its a little pricey, as most small businesses like these are. They have a good tobacco selection, and all kinds of accessories, and you can always give them a call to see if they have what youre looking for. Great overall!

So im in bamboo eater right now and Im getting the best service. Shoutout to everyone at the shop. I had problems with my osub 40w kit and the vape manager Zach took complete care of me and got me straight with all of my needs. He recommends the best flavors and is completely knowledgeable about the products.

Great. Nice guy. Made a $65 purchase and the guy threw in a free lighter (a nice one) and some match books. Pretty knowlegable about their glassware also. Not pushy at all. Some stuff can be a little pricey but there are plenty of reasonably priced wares.
