Still one of the best places to get electronics and related stuff if you can put up with the smug attitude of their sales staff. They are all pretty much the same and everyone I have discussed this with agrees so it must be part of their training. They try to come accross like they know it all when in fact nobody can know it all when you have as much variety of products as they do. Just the same its fun to ask questions and listen to them bluff their way through the answers in their cocky manner. I bought a new laptop and the rep informed me Dell no longer bundles outlook into the laptops so he suggested I purchse Office Standard, it makes sense. However, when I got home and got the laptop set up and tried to install Office Standard I realized the joke of a rep gave me the upgrade version which will now result in another trip back to best buy. For all I know he did it on purpose, I think his name was Richard!

While they have a good selection of electronics, their customer service is lacking. While searching for a video I had asked Customer service if they could check if a video was in stock. They had simply asked if I had seen it in a certain area. After saying that I did not find it in one video section they explained that if it isnt there it wasnt in stock. I then talked to a floor representative after waiting for a while. He actually tried to search for the copies of the video I had been looking for. After a few minutes of searching he was able to find it in the back. I of course walked up to the customer service desk and showed them the copy of the video just to make sure they knew it was in stock as well as to show what happens when you actually try.

Very disappointed I went into the bestbuy to buy a controller for my child they did not have any there so they had to place my order online at the beginning of the transaction I gave the cashier my coupon and at the end of my transaction she gave it back WITHOUT applying my discount and that was the reason why I was buying my child the controller Then they gonna tell me its nothing they can do about the coupon not being used because its a online order and they forgot to put the coupon in I am very disappointed because if the cashier wasnt talking to someone else the whole time she was putting my order in maybe she wouldve done it right Im just sick and tired of shopping in Annapolis period to many problems and very poor customer service

Walked in with a simple question and everybody pointed to a different person. I was told when I purchased my phone that Best Buy/ Geek Squad would give me a phone/or a loner phone if my phone was to ever be lost or stole. Nobody wanted to make me a happy customer, and just told me to go to customer service and call the Geek Squad headquarters. I stood on hold for too long for the lady to tell me can have a phone sent to me for $249.99 which I was willing to pay but would have to wait 6 days. I simply asked if they could send the replacement to the Best Buy Annapolis store quicker and the answer was No. Dont buy into their products, and always price shop on Amazon before you go in because they have to price match.

The customer service here overall is some of the worst in retail history. Ask them to lookup a movie to,see if they have it and they act like you ask them to donate you a kidney. Call on the phone to ask and youre lucky if anyone picks up the phone, if you do prepare to wait, get transferred around or to just hold and ultimately get disconnected. Everytime Im in there I see more employees talking to other employees than employees talking to customers. Especially behind the customer service return counter where the senior staff have some major I cant be bothered seniority complex. This isnt a vengeful review over a bad experience, its commentary of years of shopping there. Its essentially a self serve Best Buy.

Very disappointed in the service we received the other day. We were sold more expensive TV hardware than we intended to purchase by Best Buy salespeople upon asking for advice. We were told the model was compatible with a model like ours. Upon installation the hardware made our TV inoperable. Bought the tv for just under $1000, and now it does not function. Upon explaining the situation to the Best Buy manager the response was "not our install, not our fault" despite being sold a product not applicable to our tv. Very disappointed in our service from customer service staff up to manager. Do not seem to be the first with this challenge.

If it was possible I wouldve rated this with zero star! Horrible experience with customer service and the girl manager I think her name is Amanda- she is very unknowable, does not how to train her staff well!! I will never again set a foot in this store! CONSUMERS BEWARE they dont treat their customers well and make keep making mistakes on your account then will scheme you on opening a credit card after saying no repeatedly!!! Im beyond frustrated with this after spending 4 1/2 hours that I will never get back. If youre reading youll be wasting your time spending your time here or money!

Unlike the other reviewers here, I purchased a laptop here and received excellent service. I was waited on by the manager of the electronics department and he was extremely friendly, helpful & accommodating; moreover, all of his staff that spoke with me (several asked if I needed help while I waited) had a very positive attitude and appeared to have a great working relationship. Either things have improved since the older reviews here, or it is completely up to luck of the draw on who waits on you as to your experience, but my impression was that its the former.

In search of data, products and qualified personnel. Then I met Becca at BestBuy Annapolis Mall ! Something that is difficult no almost IMPOSSIBLE to find or experience in America today ! I experienced a UNIQUE shopping voyage from ignorance to enlightenment, thanks to Becca ! She listened, Learned and ACTED ! She was Prompt-Pleasant & Professional ! I live in Bowie, and there is a Best Buy in my city, but I will drive further to go here because it is so much better. The non-manager employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. I had someone help me out a lot when buying a new speaker system for my car. He was very thorough and helped me out a ton. I actually stopped at the customer service desk to tell the manager about what great service I received from this employee. When I told the manager he rolled his eyes at me like I was wasting his time. What a dumba**.

its too bad they dont have a minus score.... The worst retail shopping experience I have ever had. Bought a $3700 big screen surround system. Salesman was incompetent , and it took 3 HOURS over 2 DAYS to complete the purchase. two months after installation, the subwoofer stops working. I dont know if it is the amp or the sub. Called geek squad and they contact the manufacturer. Bought system 2 months ago and already not working properly. No help from Worst Buy. Run away.
