I went in today Sunday September 4th. At 5:48pm. (I know they close at 6). Doors were open so I went right in after a lady, (Caucasian ). I am black. African with a Ghanaian accent. The lady there. Young African American with dread locks who was speaking very nicely with the lady before me seemed bothered when she saw me. She continued to see to the one before me (and rightly so) without saying hi. The lady before me had trouble putting the labels on the right packages. The attendant with the locks spent a good amount of time pleasantly helping her. She finally asked in a very nasty way what she could do for me. All I wanted to do was print 61 copies of wedding invitations. I brought my own paper. After giving me an estimate of how much it will cost, she steps aside, n talks on the interconnected for a while. Comes back at 5:58 n tells me, to leave. Because they close at 6. And the amount of time they use to print out my copy will eat into that. I said but Im here. Then she switched to that deliberate formal lingo n repeated that the amount of time it will take to do my job will go beyond 6. So she sent me packing n said to come the next day. I said its a holiday. She said they will be open. I have never seen a store that admits customers, have them stand for 20 minutes and send them out. Its cruelty on one level, and racist on the other. Because while I was standing there, another Caucasian lady came and was helped by another attendant. She was still being helped when I left.

My daughter and I went in the Staples stored @ 2131 York Rd., Timonium, Md., on 07/06/2015. I intended to only make some copies. After looking around we made some back to school purchases. The person in the copy/print area was very nice, the person on the floor was very nice. When we went to check out I could not believe how rude and arrogant the lady was (her name is Trina). She does NOT say Hello or Thank you. Instead I said thank you to her. She looked at me as if I were an alien or something. I then said have a good day. The person who was in front of me saw me on the parking lot and asked "was she rude to you also"?? I said YES she was. I saw how rude she was to the lady in front of me. I know everyone has their problems but please try to leave them at home. I will drive by that store from now on and find another Staples.

I visit this store a lot. Only one associate has ever been helpful and friendly. I assume he is new because they havent made him nasty yet. Hopefully he will find another jobs before they make him nasty too. The managers dont make eye contact when they talk to you. I picked up and order in the store. The manager handed me the bag. He never looked at me. I went to my car and looked in the bag. The item was broken. I went back into the store and showed him the problem ( I was being nice not angry). He called someone to get a replacement item from the shelf. He put it in the bag and handed to me. Never said we are sorry, or anything. Just shoved the bag in my direction with no comment or eye contact. I hate going in there.

Best customer service out of all the Staples stores in the Baltimore County area. I have been shopping here for years; not all of the employees are great, but as long as youre respectful to them, they will be respectful to you. Thats common sense and common courtesy. Its a retail office supply chain; these people are not working on commission.... Beware of people who only post negative reviews (except for the place they are employed....probably on a commission-based payscale).

Worst place for Pickup. One of my friend saw the package in my name for a recent order but since t was a good deal, the store people stole it and told me that it is lost and gave me a refund. It was a very good deal which I lost. Never make any store pick up since theyll take at least 20 mins to search your package, thinking that youll buy something in the store while waiting. These guys should be taken to Sears Pick up experience to Kill their ego.
