I go here on and off, the one in East York is a lot easier for me to go to. But this is the closest Walmart for my pick-up order. While there this morning, i went into the clearance section where i picked up a clearance item, took it to the register (after already picking up my items from the "pick-up" section) and the lady there was already in a bad mood. The item rang up 19.97, on the clearance rack it said 5.00, so i asked if they would match it and the Cindy (the one wearing the yellow jacket) said no and got lippy with me. My husband was over there when she was checking the price and she moved it to another spot that said 19.99, so that was still on at the wrong spot. They were both very very rude. And i usually dont have any problems at this walmart, but recently east york, even as dirty and filthy as it is, has been a lot nicer. My family and i will not be returning and i will be calling and emailing corporate. They are suppose to honor their prices. And this is not the first time.

This particular Wal-Mart has a really limited selection and struggles to maintain its stock. Employees, particularly the ones in the electronic department, are frequently rude and too preoccupied gossiping amongst themselves to be of any help. Then they act annoyed when you finally interrupt their conversations to get assistance. The auto center is regularly closed outside of normal operating hours, make sure you call before you waste a trip assuming they are open during the posted business hours online. Very poorly managed overall. Otherwise its rarely crowded and the usually offers a quick in and out experience. Update: As of August 2016 this Walmart will no longer price match local competitors add prices.

This Walmart recently remodeled and redid all of the signage, layout, and inventory; replaced all of the carts; and added a large self checkout section. The store is always clean and well stocked (although not huge and not in an area with lots of minorities, so specialty foods are sometimes not there), the employees are always nice, and with the recent changes its a much nicer store. The self checkout of in my opinion the biggest time saver. Its still a Walmart, so you know what to expect, but this is one of the better ones Ive been to.

Its Wal-Mart. Isles are narrow with loads of extra displays packed inside and along isle ways. With the exception of a handful of very nice and friendly customer service representatives, most workers seem dull and miserable. Pharmacy is always a pain to deal with. They do have awesome prices on most items, but usually the local grocery stores have better deals and sales on soda. Meats seem higher priced as well, but I am usually a bargain shopper. Self-checkout is usually a breeze when checking it with a few items.

First of let me state. I have been in large unit management for over 20 years. What I observed today was a total lack of respect for any employee. A member of the leadership team approached a worker and started to yell at them asking where their vest was and continued to degrate them about several other topics. First of I would say speaking to your team in a disrespecting way will only lead to turn over. Second as a leader the expectation is to lead by example. How will the customers who may have over heard this.

Yesterday morning my husband and I went to the Walmart at Shrewsbury. Much better experience then we usually encounter in York. I didnt get the young mans name in the sporting goods department, but he was very helpful, polite and nice. Also the check out person was friendly and personable. I usually dont enjoy shopping at WalMart, but yesterday was a very good day, thanks to your employees.

I only like Walmart for its convenience. This one, and every other Walmart Ive ever been to smells horribly like cigarettes in the parking lot, is usually dirty outside, and has run down bathrooms. There never seems to b anyone working in the grocery department. Theres a ton of cash registers but theres only ever a few open with lines of people. Employees seem very uninterested.

Walmart will never get higher than three stars from me, so in that sense the Shrewsbury store gets the highest rating out of all the places I hate but still sometimes go anyway because theyre cheaper and closer and I cant wait to just order whatever Im buying online. Of all the Walmarts in South Eastern Pennsylvania, this one is the least gross.

I never buy many fruits or veggies at any Walmart, but I will say the one in Shrewsbury is better than the one in Timonium, Md. The people are friendly and helpful, especially in the frozen foods, and the crafts department. Also, their dairy products must be stocked every day, as the "best used by date" is always longer than other stores around.

Always has long lines, employees clearly would rather be anywhere else, and managers are next to useless. You can never get help in departments. Ask a question and 9 times out of 10 youll get "I dont know" as the answer. Only once since Ive lived I PA has an employee actually stopped to help me find what I needed.

Absolutely so fed up with Walmart. They never ever ever have the sizes I need in store and the website is 5+ days behind so its 100% useless. The people have no idea how to answer questions when I call which is even more frustrating. They need to make some changes because this is ridiculous.

The employees are always friendly and helpful, but the racks and shelves need more attention. Some are empty and the customers tend to pull things off the racks and just stick them back any where. Always have to double check the sizes. Its Walmart,, they are all pretty much the same.

Dont ever get an oil change there. I did and they never put the oil cap back on, like really?! The woman working in the shop there was so rude. I called Walmart and they said they would refund my money and never did. Bunch of half-assed workers.

I agree with the fruits and vegetables section having poor selection.... Bought bananas on sunday and only could eat two the rest were rotten on inside and yellow (with no bruises or black coloring indicating theyre bad)

This is my favorite store in the area. Great prices for everything as we all know. This Walmart is clean with a friendly staff, not all Walmarts are as nice as this one. Theyve brought back fabric and patterns!

Its always busy which is expected but trying to find any employees help find anything is hard. And even when you do they dont know where anything is. Only reason i gave it any stars is because they have good prices

Now playing second fiddle to "The Great Wall of Shrewsbury" in terms of landmark appeal, still a great place to shop for almost everything and get a healthy dose of "Walmart People" at appropriate viewing times.

Its big with a great selection for a super Walmart. Food selection is a bit smaller than others but home goods is much bigger. It can be difficult to find a close parking spot even during non-peak times.
