ITS THE WORST GAME STOP THAT I EVER BEEN TO AND I WOULDNT WANT ANYBODY ELSE TO EXPERIENCE THE IMMATURITY FROM THE WORKERS THERE ITS JUST NOT WORTH IT!!! There was a situation were i pre-order a game and a guy name THOMAS was helping me. Well at least i thought he was i mean this young guy basically gave me false information telling me to get a more expensive version of a game cause he told me thats the one they had and no other gamestop would have it either. That was the first lie he told me, but when i ended up coming there to purchase my game he then told me that they had the game that I wanted so he cancels the one version of the game for a less cheaper one but not only did he do that but he also cancels my pre-order that i brought WAY early for the game. When I finally got home to realize that he got over on me. I called but of course i couldnt even get a answer because they have a knack for not answering the phone calls i mean it always goes straight to an answering service then when you hit one to try to talk to one of the workers there then they dont pick up and you cant leave a message because its filled!! SMH im assuming that they dont want to deal with the customers since there customer service skills are poorly. When i called the next day it took four hours to finally get someone to pick up to explain my problem and even then he put me on hold to waste more time, but i finally got to talk to THOMAS and when I did i told him what he did and he seem like he didnt even have a clue on what i was talking about! Once he figure out who i was he gave me more false information and i know cause Ive gotten the real information from another game stop and still being game savvy i knew that the game i pre-order had to have a code on a receipt for me to enjoy the special features but he told me that i didnt have to do that cause it should be already on the game and i didnt need a code but IT WASNT!! Not only did he keep on with this shameful lie but another co-worker in the background agreed with the lie as well. THE CRAZY PART IS IF YOU SEE MY RECEIPT IT CLEARLY SAIDS THAT THE PRE-ORDER IS CANCELLED but he didnt know what i was talking about. SMH I had to go to an gamestop that took me 35 minutes to get there but when I explain the craziness that i experience at the game stop in bowie town center they gave me BETTER SERVICE, VERY HELPFUL AND THEY ALSO GAVE ME THE PRE-ORDER CODE THAT I WAS ASKING FOR you know since i paid for it lol but I WILL BE GOING THERE FOR NOW ON JUST BECAUSE OF THE HOSPITALITY ALONE and less face it im to wise to be a fool to resort to violence or verbally speak vulgar to attack someone even when there clueless. WORD TO THE WISE....SAVE YOURSELF THE DRAMA AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAMESTOP AND FIND ANOTHER ONE UNTIL THEY FIND THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO HIRED TO HELP CUSTOMERS LIKE ME AND OTHERS WHO JUST WANT TO ENJOY A SIMPLE GAME.

Lesson learned: Please for the love of games, take your business elsewhere. This entire issue was after having already dealt with an extremely incompetent store ALL DAY, literally, since 10AM (it is now 5:53PM, I am just now getting off the phone with GS Customer Service, who btw had no resolution, so if a store has screwed you over, dont go callin corporate for a fix!) for a defective product they sold to me. As it is, nearly $500 is being held up by this company for the entirety of a weekend or quite probably longer. District manager of the store: Nick Esteves, Store#4673, clerks who (did not) assist me: Eric - Store Manager, Jamaal - Asst. Store Manager. If they can hold my money indefinitely, then their names can be put up, as nothing Ive said is untrue. Furthermore, if you absolutely HAVE to go to a Gamestop and youre close to this one? Just do yourself a tremendous favor, and go to the one off Crain Highway. Good staff there, they do the best with what they have (considering how sh*tty gamestop has become, this is saying quite a lot), and make sure the customer is at the very least informed (which is light years more than I can say for this dump), as they at least let me know of a free promo that store #4673, made me pay $50 for (yes thats also being held up). Edit: Was contacted the next morning by an extremely kind Regional Manager, who understood the issues that occurred and acted swiftly to rectify the issue. I am now once again, a fan of Gamestop! (Just.. do not go to this location.)

Worst gamestop I have ever gone to. 1st I called to check on my trade-in values and once I get to the store, I wait at the counter for 5 minutes while he sings and arranges video games never acknowledged me at all. Then guy looks at my remote charger and tells me broken because he couldt get the charging cable into the port but when I did it in front of him I had no problem also I never used it literally took it out the box and let it sit because I was using the remote. Then I ask what is the value of my trade PS3 Remote and he tell me 6.00 but when I called they told me $15.00 smh the tall bald dude is a completely unprofessional and should be fired. His whole attitude was off and I really believe he was going to pocket the rest of the credit for my trades. F**K this gamestop I will waste gas going out of my way to find a different on as its not worth me putting hands on someone because they dont want to be at work. If i could have gave him negative stars he would have got -5.
