Today I went to staples and experienced something that still blows my mind. As a school teacher I ALWAYS shop at staples but today that almost changed. Today my school printer ran out of ink. Like the good little teacher that I am I went to staples to get more ink for my printer because ya know I have things to print. I went to one location and they dont have the ink I need in a stand alone package just in the black/colored ink for double the price. So I tried a different location, and found the same thing. I asked one employee if they could check the back from me to see if they had one more. I was told no they had what they had and that was that. So I went to check out, I tried one more time to ask if someone could maybe check for me because I am broke teacher who realllllly couldnt afford 60 dollars for over 24 for ink. Again I was told no. Just by chance I asked if anything could be done for me because I had gone to two locations. (And to be fair they really were not trying to help me at this location) They said no they could order one ink and have in the tomorrow afternoon.... Not helpful. So I told them I could just email corprate when I got home to see what they had say about this. I was upset at being treated like I didnt matter. Oh BOYYYYY Now that I was going to call corporate we wanted to go check in the back. I refused the help and told the cashier I would simply call corporate. At this point I was annoyed I had driven out of my way and was being treated as though my problem wasnt worth the stores time. At this point a manager passed by and the cashier asked if they had my ink in the back. ( The manager seeing I was upset, still did not acknowledge me) They turned to another employee and asked if they had the ink. Turns out they got an order off the truck THIS MORNING of the ink I was looking for. This 4th employee treated me like my problem was worth his time and went to check the back for my ink. He came back with my ink and apologized for the inconvenience that I had gone through. What did I learn today - Staples employees wont help you until they might get in trouble because I dont play. I am fine if you are actually out of a product but to tell me you dont have something when It turns out you do is just pure laziness. If someone would have at least even pretended to check it would have made me feel like I mattered but to just basically say " nope sucks to suck" is rude and disrespectful. I felt so disrespected that I nearly chose to never go to staples again today. But the 4th employee who decided he was getting paid to work and treated me like I mattered changed my mind. ( BARELY). I will be emailing Staples with his name letting them know how good of a job he did.

Ive frequented this store many times because I live near. Every time I go into the store, Im frustrated and I usually end up leaving without a purchase. I usually cant find the sales products Im looking for, its hard to get someone to help you and when they do, theyre trying to help 3-4 at one time. Youre waiting and waiting even though you were there first. They seem to be short of help. Theres lots of stuff behind the counter where reps are stumbling over items. Ive talked to the managers and they said to visit the store on their less busy days. I visited the store on yesterday (supposed to be slow day) and ended up leaving without extending my anti-virus protection because I became so frustrated of the same issues. I also had to repeat my phone number three times because the rep. refused to write it down. When I do take my laptop in for services, as frequent as two weeks ago, I had the same problems along with repeating my issue twice to two different reps. I dropped off my laptop for service and I was promised that it would be ready by Mon. I return to store on Tues.,and it still wasnt ready. I was told that the rep. tried to leave me a message. When I got home, I called my phone and it was working fine. I also ordered a poster and was given a stated price. I was told it was ready and when I arrived, it wasnt ready and I was given a different price. I wont visit this store again.

Excellent customer service. Richard, Jonathan, April, and another lady with a beautiful accent (from Trinadad) whose name I unfortunately cannot remember were a wonderful representation of the company and management should commend them as well. They patiently helped my family find specific back-to-school items that they were looking and answered all of our questions and were generally helpful and courteous throughout our visit. The store was clean and organized. So refreshing. Thank you all.

I orderd online business card to pick up from the store and their web site said to pick up with in 24 hour of order but even after 36 hour the order is not redy yet. And the associates are not even bothered to do the job. Its like they are in vaccation giving very little attention to me (customer) i never had experiance as lazy and unattentive to their customers as steples does. I recomend not to do business its way better to do at fedex.

Worst office supply store staff ever. They have broken furniture as floor models and refused to sell the non-broken furniture because it was the last non-broken item that they had in stock... WTF. Staples is much closer to our office, but I will keep on driving to Office Depot for now on. I only gave them 1 star because you cant give them zero stars.

The customer service is abysmal here. Do not go. Pick any other staples location. The employees are rude and when I asked for a manager, they said one was coming, but he never came. After 10 minutes, I had to leave.
