My personal experience has been good most times . But this past weekend, went to purchase item not familiar with. The store was very helpful the employee & store manager went out of their way making my experience very satisfactory. I was very pleased w/ the help & product purchase.... ended up purchasing two of the same item- just in case scenario. They made the decision to lower the cost of itemt bc it was inconvenient for me ordering on line bc they ran out of stock for replacement blades @ the time. The excellent pt. was the manager decided to sell the item @ price listed on manufacturers web pg. despite losing substantial revenue. This saved me money 4 item ,but also shipping fees.... 3 X cost of item & any delays of tasks planned 4 that day. Its true customer service can be better, it took while for the paged employee specializing in particular area, but if customer is patient & understanding , theyll eventually be given the best opinion/option for the task by the appropriate specialist. I was persistent & although annoyed bc they didnt drop whatever they were doing to help me, However, if we customers respected people the way we respect ourselves, most negative experiences with the store would be less frustrating. My understanding is, most employees at home depot are more then competent & knowledgeable in department assigned. Eventually, the correct employee found me ,wondering around, & not only educated me to which product best for my needs but also took me, literally hand held me to another dept. the specialist, to get the other item i came to purchase. Nevertheless, that was my experience & im exceedingly satisfied w/ the experience. I cant say i was given the "royal" treatment...then again, im not of noble genealogy. I hope this helps you. Thank you.

this store reminds me of just how far our country has fallen. Its a poorly stocked store, there are a lot of employees - they are wearing orange smocks and standing around - and yet no one is available when you are on the floor. I actually went to purchase a simple item like installation and they said we dont have that here. You dont have insulation at home depot? Neither the kind you put on your leaky door nor the kind you put on your shed wall. How do you run out of that? If there is a store closer go to that one. The people are, for the most part, friendly enough. But it really depends on what department you are in. Ask someone in the bathroom area to help you find nails, they will direct you to as distant aisle and good luck finding anyone down there. I am sure it didnt use to be like this, not even in Home Depot. back in 1990s these stores were ... different. Its a sign of the times that self respect is lost, the pay is too low, no one cares about the quality of what They have to offer, not the store, but them as a person. Its really like ... the Seychelles, or .. Yugoslavia, or.. some distant island with few goods and no competition.

The problem with home depot, as always, is lack of staff and uneven supply. I wanted a plastic, 24-oz paint cup with snap tight lid to keep small amounts of paint overnight and to handhold paint while going up and down a ladder. You can do the same with "handled" cups, but have to saran wrap paint at the end of the day or pour it back in the can. It is also too awkward to fit on a ladder step. There were dozens of these paint cups and NO lids. (the larger, less useful sizes ALL had lids) The staff person searched the top shelves to find item and there were none. Harrys Hardware had five of these cups and there were an equal number of lids. The only reason to go to Home Depot is if you know the item is so cheap you cant pass it up (spray paint for example) and you KNOW where to find the item. Supply is inconsistent. One month youll find a certain light bulb, then itll never be there again. At Harrys, I know the staff, they recognize me, they also send out sale circulars with $5 off coupons. Im generally paying more for service, staff and reliable supply and knowledg. But Im in an out. No long lines and no roaming a giant warehouse with no help.

The store is fairly unorganized compared to different ways I might imagine it could be set up. They do try and make it better by providing a store app but I didnt download it figuring Id probably get some more soam and such in my inbox.... Also, I find fairly consistently that I can save a bunch of money using Amazon Prime to purchase items that arent building materials. Ill keep going back because sometimes its just better to hold the item you are purchasing in your hands and there are times where they have good deals or comparable prices. The employees are always curtious and knowledgeable and my gf is interested in trying some of the weekend project clinics so that is nice. Id give it a higher rating if it was better organized and prices were more competitive but Im sure they have someone designing the layout of the stores that suggest they are organized as well as possible...

My experience personally was good but a sweet, nice pizza delivery guy had delivered $67 worth of pizza.... on his BICYCLE and received NO tip. I KNOW its your prerogative to tip or not, but he rode his bicycle from Tchop to their store, in the hot hot sun. Just broke my heart how thoughtless the staff was/is!!!! I did bring it to the managers attention but it was like he didnt even matter. So this store I will NOT be going back to. Obviously they do not care about others. IF YOU CAN NOT TIP..... THEN DO NOT ORDER!!!! Just know, people in the hospitality business makes $2.13 an hour plus tips! Tips are what they live on!!!! FYI!!!!!!

Love this homedepot the staff really know what theyre doing sometimes I spend a little more time than I have to there but is because they are always so busy but my shopping experience was way better than lowes and their staff are so much better than lowes I just came from lowes because Im working next to it but other than that I always prefer home depot lowes staff is rude and dont know what they doing. Home depot staff are always on point. They always help me find what I need quick. And the loading team is a beast congratulation on an awesome job and thanks home depot staff .

I have great experiences here for general shopping, have never placed an order like some of the other reviewers here, so I am unsure of how that would go. If you need a few plants, some tools, a few pieces of wood, etc, this is your place. I usually check out at the garden department, seems the staff is a bit friendlier there. As for paint, I havent ordered any from this Home Depot, because Ive interacted with that guy in the paint department elsewhere, and he is in fact a rude guy who is inconvenienced if you show up at his counter. Otherwise, love the store!
