Terrible experience today at Home Depot. A return/exchance on a sump pump with 1 year warranty was denied after only having it for 4 months. 3 month in-store warranty was expired unless authorized by the manufacturer. Contacted manufacturer and was told that their pump was only capable of pumping water for a few seconds at a time and was not capable of 500 gallons. This is a 1/3 hp Everbuilt Sump Pump with claims of 12,870 liters per hour. False claims, terrible product, worse customer service on top of that. Buyers beware. Everbuilt in partnership with Home Depot look for ways to deny warranty on their products. Nowhere on the instructions does it state the pump can only work for a few seconds. What would even be the purpose of a $128 dollar pump if it is only capable of a few seconds of operation? .............. 8/8/17 update: Home Depot corporate contacted me and resolved the problem. A big surprise. They were very pleasant to work with and contacted the store to resolve the matter. Thank you for making things right. I am updating my review from 1 star to 3 thanks to them but I am still upset that I had to go through a bad time over the manufacturers (Everbuilt) terrible and rude customer service. It is still unfortunate that I had to go as far as writing to corporate to make something so simple right. Again, thank you Home Depot for making it right. Everbuilt Pumps is who I will avoid from now on.

As many have stated poor customer service but this time Im reporting poor behavior by a MOD that occurred about 6 mths ago. I requested an MOD regarding an issue I was having. When a gentleman at customer service arrived he asked how he could help me. I asked if he was the manager and his response was " how can I help you." I asked again but he never answered my question even after I insisted and unbelievably I walked away. I left him my info and asked that the store manager call me, which he didnt. A week later I called and finally talked to the store manager. He stated he would address the issue and I hope he did. I never found out who this rude guy was UNTIL I saw him at the store on my next visit. Turns out this rude person was manager on duty JOSH! On other note, I got scoop that Home Depot is not what it used to be. They no longer take care of their employees, sad.

Tool rental employee not truthful. Returned a trimmer and explained to him unit would cease after about 15 mins right out of the box. Employee turned it on successfully for about 2 mins without issue which was never the problem. (By the way unit would shut off on me while actually trimming or putting it to use, not just by squeezing trigger like this employee did geez) When the cashier called him to get his response, he said there was nothing wrong and it was labeled for resale. This is wrong! This new trimmer ceased after the first 15 mins. Then continued to shut off every other 5 mins or so. The manufactures/companies needs to know their trimmers are junk so that they fix the problem and not inconvenience other people.

If I could give a half star I would. This Home Depot is horrible. The shopping carts are scattered through the parking lot sometimes grouped in a parking spot and never by the entry door. The aisles are narrow and clogged with products making them even more difficult to navigate. The workers are more interested in their own conversations than with helping you EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN STANDING IN THE AISLE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FOR 10 MINUTES! I recently had to block an employee moving a stocking ladder to get his help finding something.

I gotta say I dont know what the issue with the staff there is but most of them especially in the lumber department seem to have anger issue and look as if they dont want to help anyone there. I highly recommend management to realize the issue and fix it! [Amazing staff and very courteous. You can find everything you need here I at a very good price. I always return four more projects and great prices]

Theyve lost so much business from me due to customer service alone, specially flooring. Its unbelievable how unable and unwillingly some "representatives" there are willing to help. I wonder if corporate knows how sub par theyre customer service is sometimes even crossing on the verge of rude responses and condescending attitude towards customers from staff.

I must say that being a visitor from Minnesota that I have been disappointed every time Ive gone to the Home Depot in Mission TX it has been a real disappointment. No one is friendly and it is difficult to find anyone to help. The Lowes store is Mission is more like the Home Depot back home. Everyone is exceptionally helpful without being overbearing.

could not been worst every time I called Ii was placed on hold for 10 + m then they hung up . I placed a order on the 6 of June and as of 22 June . After several phone calls to Customer Support (A Big Joke ) the manager Mr. Santos said that he would pull the missing hammer of the shelf and deliver it. I will believe it when I see that it happens.

Terrible customer service spend 25 min looking at floors never got any help. Both employees were to busy taking to each others the row over.... Not even once got greeted by them how can you miss a customer in the middle aisle with no racks there... You lost a customer was looking into buying some flooring...

The plumbing section is a terrible mess, You cant find anything because the parts are all mixed up. This is also true in some of the other departments. It is hard to find someone to help you. Hope things improve.

I mostly go for plants and they have a bad selection of plants for the RGV. Most of their plants will die in valley weather. They need to shift to buying plants that do well in the area.
