I have to recount my experience that happened here a few months ago because, in this day and age, it is well out of the norm. I went in to buy a toolbox, though I knew Id be limited by the size of my car and wouldnt be able to fit anything over 31 inches. I did my research online, and went in looking for a particular model, but when I arrived found the next model up at a better price. Unfortunately, after many measurements and re-measurements, I concluded that I could not take it home with me and that it would have to be delivered. I went over to the customer service desk, and after a long wait that saw me get a bit impatient, a well-meaning floor manager came over and asked how he could help. I told him my predicament, to which he then informed me the price of delivery, $75. At that point I was ready to walk away and wait until I could get my hands on a truck, and I was a little peeved at how much time had been wasted waiting for help. The manager, whose name I unfortunately do not remember (Steve?), asked me where exactly I lived. After telling him it was about two miles from the store, he offered to drive the toolbox there himself! Ecstatic and thankful, I accepted. But when we arrived at the location and I offered him gas money at the very least, he refused, saying he was doing his job. That man went beyond good customer service, he wasnt just a good employee, but a good person.

I went to Home Depot because my bathroom toilet had a leak and only had intentions of purchasing a wax seal for a few dollars. As I approached the plumbing isle I was immediately greeted with a smile and thats were I was blown away by the high degree of customer service that was presented by Greg Flood, not only did Greg clearly and concisely answer every single question I had about my existing problem but he went way above and beyond the call of duty and extended his area of expertise into my flooring questions even though he was based out of plumbing. Greg built my confidence to not only fix the toilet leak, but to purchase a brand new toilet, marble flooring, and a brand new water heater the next day, I am now in the process of remodeling my entire bathroom. Ive been in the retail sales/management industry for close to twenty years and have never experienced the level of quality customer service the was delivered by Greg. I can go on all day talking about Gregs product knowledge, people skills, and professionalism. I want to thank The Home Depot for having an employee of this caliber, he is an asset to your company.

Fantastic! I had an issue that I figured I could never resolve and yet this location took care of me. I called and asked for a manager and was transferred to Brent. He worked out the details with me over the phone and promise to take care of me. Because he was leaving before I could get there he said that I should look up Carlos who was equally kind and helpful. I guess I shouldnt forget John L and Britney at the service register! Regardless, because of the location underneath the intersection of 35 + 45, I did not know that the store existed! Now that I do, I realize how easy it was to get in and out of the store, how accessible it was, and how they were willing to help me with a situation that I did not think was truly resolvable. These folks were truly a blessing for my day.

Employee Brent is extremely rude and impatient. All I needed was a key cut and a few other things from the garden center and he made me feel like I was a criminal. After asking if I needed help with anything and me telling him I need a key cut he proceeded to follow me throughout the store. It seemed like every aisle I was on he was at the other end of. At some points I could hear him tell other employees to check on me. After paying for my items and leaving the store I noticed the same tall bald white guy standing this time outside the lumber doors watching me walk to my car.. I never felt so profiled in my life. I dont know what Brent had a problem with but if your 50 something and working at home depot and miserable I suggest ypu seek other employment. Lowes for now on.

This is a really good Home Depot location. These guys are always really nice here and are never to busy to give you attention. I rented a truck from them one time and I was running late to return it before they closed. I called and told them I was going to be about 15 minutes late, but they left their registers running for me so I could return it and not have to pay an extra day! It was really awesome of them to do that for me. Ive worked retail before and I probably wouldnt have been that nice, so I give major props to these people for not just being friendly because its their job, but actually caring about people and going out of their way to help out.

August 12, 2008 The Manager, Home Depot, Round Rock, TX Greetings, I am a regular customer of your store. Last week I came to the store to get some paint. I was pleasantly surprised at the great service provided by one of your employee in the paint section, Mr Blake. Mr Blake was very polite and pleasant and went out of his way to serve my need. I appreciated this very much and came home determined to commend him to his superiors. Thank you very much. Mrs Hamida M Yusufali 1541 Jerusalem Drive Round Rock, TX 78664

This location is one of the best. I say that with a relative notion to the blue big box hardware store across the street. Lowes is consistently, without a doubt, absolutely the worst in customer service. Coming to this Home Depot is consistently the opposite. With a few minor exceptions, I have had good experiences at this store. Not to say I wouldnt get rid of all these and bring back the real hardware stores I still remember. Also, super happy with each and every Ridgid tool Ive bought here.

We signed a contract for a bathroom remodel on Feb 28, 2009. A 3 day install was finally finished on June 6th. Floor Pro Network (FPN) was the installer and they are seriously flawed. Poor communication, poor management, poor scheduling. HD agreed to a refund on July 1st 2009. As of today (6 weeks later), there are more delays and still no refund. I HIGHLY suggest finding somewhere else to get your installation done if FPN is going to have a part in the installation. You have been warned.

I spend a lot of money in this store. Over the last few years I have never had a bad customer experience. Just recently, I was buying a Ryobi tool kit but didnt realize that it came with another free tool as advertised in the paper. Jeannie alerted me to this and I was able to get the free tool. This is a definite case of "doing right by the customer."
