This received one star bc I couldnt give it a zero or negative number. I have been dealing with Ashley since back in August. I first called after my original delivery date to see if by chance they would be able to allow me to pick a delivery time bc my work schedule changed and I needed to have a set time. I work Tuesday through Saturday which just so happens to be the delivery days available. They told me there was no way for me to be able to pick my delivery time bc whomever they go through for delivery didnt work that way. When I attempted to explain my dilemma with them I was blamed for my work schedule changing and informed that on the date I made the purchase the delivery day was ok so there was nothing they could do. After going back and forth about the delivery I finally had to decide that I was not going to go into work the day of the delivery. Not to mention I was told that a portion of my furniture wouldnt be delivered until a late date bc it was back ordered (which was never brought to my attention) I received confirmation about my delivery and was given a 4 hour window for my delivery. On the day of the delivery I wait around all day, finally 6:30 pm comes and my boyfriend tells me to call to see what was going on. When I finally get through to someone they inform me that my delivery had been cancelled at 5 am that morning. I was obviously upset about this information as no one called to inform me that my furniture was not going to be delivered. When I asked what could be done about my furniture the lady informed me that there was nothing to be done until Monday morning when the district manager came in. She also informed me that she would get back in touch with me first thing Monday to rectify the situation. Monday comes and nothing. I have to spend the majority of my day attempting to contact someone about what is happening. The young lady a spoke to first informed me that it was written in my account notes that I would have to speak to GRT when I called them she was of no assistance to me and informed me that I would have to speak to the manager at the store as my delivery cancellation came through the store directly. I have spent all day attempting to get in touch with someone and playing phone tag with Sam the store manager. This is a complete customer service fail. If I am making a purchase I should not have to wait around all day for the delivery to come through, not to mention have my order cancelled the day of the delivery with no one giving me a call. I have currently have no living room furniture and dont know if I will get mine delivered, it would be nice to be able to speak to someone who would be willing and able to assist and actually make something happen. I wouldnt recommend this store to my worst enemy.

Worst experience from a business that I have received. I am in the military. I have used Ashley in Hawaii and in Ft. Hood Texas numerous times with good results, so when I PCSd here I decided to purchase here. I went into the store and made a purchase totaling over $6,000 for a bed, coffee table and dining room set. The bed was an older model that I could pick up the next day and I received a date of July 16th for delivery for the rest. I took July 16th off from work. I waited till 1pm and when the drivers hadnt arrived yet, I called the store to find out an approximate time for arrival. The receptionist told me that they were not coming, that I could come pick up the bed (that I was currently laying on), that the coffee table would come July 25th, she said the dining room chairs would come in August and the dining room table would come in September. I told her that was unacceptable for delivery and that I needed to speak with the salesmen. She said he wasnt working. I called back the next day to speak with Jerry. I called several times and he never answered. I left a message and he never returned my call. I called several times and left a message with the receptionist Jennifer for a manager to call me so that I could get a refund and I have still not received a phone call. I cannot believe that a business runs this way. I took off a day of work and no one even called me to tell me that I wasnt having my furniture delivered. No one even apologized. I cannot even get a customer representative to talk to me. Everyone is avoiding me. I have spent over $20,000 with Ashley Furniture over the years and Im pending $6,000 right now and I dont deserve a simple apology for them wasting my time. Also, Im expected to take another three days off of work to wait on furniture deliverymen? I have five children and I just PCSd without a dining room set (long story), I explained this to the salesmen, Jerry. Now, my children and I are expected to sit on the floor for two months to eat our meals? This is just unacceptable. Now, I have to make a trip to Louisville so that I can stand in the store and they can avoid me in person. Thank you for nothing, Louisville Ashley Furniture. Sales Order #018595693

Brought a dining room table and chairs on 5/30/2015 it was first delivered on 7/3/2015 I was told I had to keep it even though it had damage done to called the store right a way they are rude a manager will never come to the phone, there is 1 person at the 866 number that is nice. I have spoken to the store at blankenbaker, they brought the replacement suit again on 8/1/2015 it did not even make it off the truck, damage again, we went to the store on 8/3/2015 to ask for a refund, when my husband asked for a manager the supervisor A said she could help us (she was as rude as could be)the manager left the area so he would not have to talk to us, again 8/6/2015 I left work early for a table a chairs to be delivered, again did not make it off the truck and guess what, it was the same table they tried to deliver on 8/1/2015, and only 5 chairs which all had damage done the them. Our number was left again last night with a manager to call my husband, but again no call. A S that works there called and left me a message early this morning but I was told by corporate last night that we would be getting a refund and the dining room furniture will be picked up. I have never been treated as rude in my whold life as I have been by your employees at the Blankenbaker location. Oh and they failed to give us our receipt the day the furniture was bought so I asked for it to be mailed and 4 weeks later they still had not mailed it due to they had no stamps. Finally it was emailed to me. Why would they tell you someone will be checking everything over then send out damage furniture. I have pictures of all the items each time and to think they could pass the table off yesterday that they had already tried to deliver on Saturnday is beyound belief. The blankenbaker location all need to attend customer service training and the managers need to return people phone calls and not run and hide when you go into the store to discuss a situation. The person at corporate I will give a A plus to because he is doing his best to turn this terrible situation around.
