I came to this store because I saw it has a few good review. But my experience turned to be worst ever. I want to give a minus five stars if I could. The following is my experience: Before I made my order from this store, I have done a tons of work about where is better for you to buy sewing machines. People always say that try to buy from your local store other than online. Although I used to buy all types of stuff from online with no problem, I still ordered the sewing machine from this store thinking of the repair benefits. However, it is a nightmare. It took them almost two months to order one, and still the machine was not yet delivered till this moment when I am writing this review. In the middle, I had to keep calling the sale lady a million times to get information about where is my order now. They never call you actively or reply your calling even they just told you they will call you back. They let you wait, wait and wait until you lose your patience to cancel it. It make me believe that this store is quite a cheating store.Of course, they charge it ahead! I ended up with having to order it from online after two months, surprisingly the machine came from my online order just like a dream, no waiting, perfect packaging and very nice service. Whenever I call them, the online store always rapidly find a tech to solve my problems. My purchase from this store is horrible. After they wasted my time for two months. They dont even apologize for it. For those people who read this review, please be aware, sometime you think you will get the benefit from the local store for things like repair conveniently and communicate easily. It probably turns into the opposite way. It is not hard to understand this, the local store can’t sell as many products as online store does, of course it can’t offer you a good service.

I am an out of towner please ignore any negative e reviews today I went to all the stores in Lexington. Sadly each dealer in town bad mouthed this store . All the other dealers wanted to sell me a machine and did not even listen to my needs which I disclosed that I was in town and I was surveying all the stores to see what they had to offer and I was looking for fabric. This store is the only store that sold fabric. I disclosed that I was a Bernina fan to each store but that I owned baby lock brother janome and Viking. I like juki and Bernina hands down and would never tear apart another brand just because of the label. So this store is fantastic. They were professional, personable, discussed classes they offer have me a tour of the tool room and offered me a homemade cookie. They also displayed probably almost a hundred quilts and quilt techniques in the store in addition to sew able doll clothes baby toys etc. The have an on-site repair technician. They ha be another large room filled with every imaginable thread. They offer great prices on their machines and offer complimentary mastery classes. They never messed me to buy a machine. They are a family business and all working family members were educated and experienced with sewing techniques. It was amazing to see the patience of the instructors as they are teaching classes to young children while I was in the store. As an educational administrator it was fantastic to see such growth and encouragement taking place. I gladly will return to this store or shop online for tools and accessories as my needs require. Friendly inclusive and legendary unrivaled customer service are offered at the quilters square.

I LOVE this shop! We need more stores to be this customer friendly! I thought the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. And I felt as though they honestly wanted to help me in whatever project I was shopping for. I thought their prices were reasonable ESPECIALLY because they dont carry "cheap" fabric. They take pride in their good fabric, which is all I want to use if I am going to put so much time and effort into a sewing project! Thanks Quilters Square!

I just made my first purchase as an out of towner in this shop. Needless to say, Ill be visiting the wonderful city of Lexington several times a year to purchase fabric for my future quilting projects. The service I received was second to none, assisting with fabric selection, pattern selection and design, as well as searching for a pattern. Love this shop! Thanks soooo much!

For five years or so, since my husband bought me a Pfaff sewing machine for Christmas I have been dealing with this store. Love them! They have always been helpful and all are knowledgeable and willing to help. Very please with the service I have received and when I just have questions they work hard to answer them for me. Great store and wonderful staff.

Great quilt shop! Definitely the best in our region. They are a Bernina dealer, but they can and are willing to help you out with any type of machine. Their fabric selection is definitely the best...a range of traditional to modern and a huge selection of solids! They are always friendly and willing to curate a bundle for you at no extra charge.

Lots of sewing machines, Bernina dealer. Lots of fabrics, most are more traditional, they dont carry a lot of the new or up & coming designers. Staff tends to leave you alone, if you do need help it can be difficult to flag someone down. They do offer several classes, I have not taken any personally but have heard good things from a friend.

Went in there today looking for a different store but what a pleasant surprise. The inventory was abundant and beautiful and they had a huge Kentucky quilt in the making. The lady was more than helpful and sent me to the store I was seeking. This store makes me want to take up quilting!
