I would agree about the customer service. I ordered 20 yards of fabric and asked for them to call to make sure it is in stock. I was assured they had 47 yards and placed my order. 2 days later they call to say my order had been back ordered for 5 weeks and would not be shipped until April. I needed the fabric for chairs I was recovering and needed them done by March 28th. They then offered no discount for another fabric choice and basically just lost several thousand in more business in the future. If they had offered a discount and helped me I would have given them a better review.

The customer service at this store is lackluster. I visited in hopes of finding a few yards of fabric for a reupholstery project. It took about 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge my presence and they were incredibly unhelpful. In these tough economic times there is really no room for staff who treat you as if youre below them. I came to see a specific fabric, which they would have to special order and to my surprise I found the same fabric at Hancocks, but 50% off. They carry decent lines, but nothing like brunswig & fils, etc. to merit that behavior.

I wish I could them no stars and still write a review. One of the worst customer service experience Ive had in my life. Not only did they tell me that they would cut my fabric that I ordered (and didnt), but when I came into the store after getting said fabric and asked for them to cut it they laughed and asked in a condescending way, "do you not have scissors?" I then, as calmly as I could, asked them if they still had the dimensions for the cuts I needed on file and proceeded to tell me yet again that they couldnt cut it.

We have had several projects done with Calico (curtains in in all my kids rooms, duvets, pillows, bench seats), and they have been fantastic. Sue and Christine went out of their way to make sure that our projects would be perfect. Sue, the manager, has even traveled to our house to make sure the measurements were perfect so things would come out right. They have tons of knowledge, and I know our projects would not have come out so wonderfully without their expertise!
