We are in the military and we move around a lot. Weve been to a lot of different stores from all over the country. We didnt understand the name, but everyone kept telling us to go here, and we loved the store. We furnished our entire house, got a big screen TV, and all the appliances for our new house here. It took a couple of days for us to pick everything out, and our sales lady was AWESOME! They were very patient and kind, my kids can be a handful and they allowed them to sit in their theater room in the store and watch a movie while we shopped..it was awesome! We picked everything out and had it delivered 2 days later, which was amazing to me. Every other place we went was weeks or months out. The delivery guys showed up on time, and they had 3 different crews at our house all at the same time. One crew was delivering the furniture, one crew was installing the appliances, and another crew was hooking up my husbands new TV and surround sound. They were there for 4 hours, and I think we paid like $60 bucks for delivery. The exact same sectional at Havertys was almost $1,000 more, and they beat Lowes and Sears prices on our appliances. They saved us a lot of money because they do not charge for installation on any of their items, which is how I think a lot of these other stores make their moeny. Sears "appeared" to be cheaper but they were trying to charge $100 to install our dishwasher, and $150 to install our microwave, extra $50 to install our ice maker line. Im glad I didnt pay attention to these reviews that I read on-line! This place rocks!! They treated us like family, and we will recommend all of our new friends on base to go here!

The Salesman Samuel is the biggest liar and I have ever met at any furniture store. He said anything he could to get us to buy a matching couch and love seat. Including that if the warranty company has to replace one item and cant get an exact match they replace both matching items. Also the warranty has nationwide coverage or so i was told. I the Bought couch and love seat in Feb of 2014 now it is Jan 2015 and no longer live in Wichita KS. The crooks at FOC told me that I would have to drive back from Layton UT I repeat UTAH! to get my replacement couch, its just a 1023 miles. What happened to nation wide coverage? When I called MONTAGE, the warranty company they said they do not cover both matching items or shipment of the items, and all they were willing to do is to refund the price of the protection plan. Not a check for the couch since you cant deliver me my furniture. I guess thats how they settle up on claims they cant resolve when you move out of the state. If you are military or any tax paying citizen for that matter do not bother buying the protection plan from them. Between the liars at FOC and the scam artists at MONTAGE with false coverage and hope there is no telling who is screwing you the most. It is safe to say i hope they go out of business.

Ive been in multiple times but never bought anything till now. Gordon said hello when I walked in and asked if he could helped, I told him I was just looking around and he left me do do just that. He didnt follow me me around or watch me (that i could tell) and I was not hounded by other sales people every minute which was great. Gordon checked up on me whenever our paths crossed and that was it and I really appreciated that. When I found what I wanted I was able to find him no problem and he helped me right away. He did try to sell me some other things but when I said I wasnt interested he just said ok thats cool and I really liked that as well. I dont mind trying to be sold stuff, I just dont like sales ppl to try and push it on me. Gordon did not do that. He answered all my questions and maybe took 30 minutes max to get approved for credit, write down what I wanted, get delivery and everything set up and have me out the door. I really enjoyed my experience with this company and Gordon. Hope to do more business in the future.

My sofa is POOR CONSTRUCTION QUALITY. I bought a living room set from FOC in November 2013. Upon arriving at home, I noticed that the base board of the couch was broken. I took it back, and they replace it for free. This was nice, but it was still an inconvenience. 6 months later, we noticed the couch making noise every time you sit on it. I opened it up to find that one of the support boards had pulled out of its fasteners. It was held together by about 2 staples, the other 5 staples had missed their mark--so what do you expect. A couple well placed screws and some wood glue fixed the problem--the way it should have been built the first time. I dont like to write negative reviews, but I feel like the problems with this couch warrant it. I bought a mid-range couch that the salesman said had "coil-spring cushions, better construction, you get what you pay for, etc." This couch gets little use, its not abused, were not overweight--but now Im scared to plop down on it after work and relax for fear that something will BREAK!

Ive had several encounters with Trent at Furniture on consignment. He is INCREDIBLE! Hes always attentive, listens to my needs and finds a suitable solution. Hes even helped rectify situations from other sales reps, without the need to get credit, just because it was the right thing to do. Thats hard to find in todays society and business. Trent is officially our "furniture guy" from here on out. I will not buy from anyone but him. That said, I enjoyed chatting with Bri and Jennifer, as they were both incredibly helpful and friendly, even though they werent selling me anything. On my way out, I met the manager, Lonnie, who also was very cordial. Took several minutes to find out how the service was and if I was pleased with my prior purchases. Thanks for all the hard work. Respect, integrity and transparency are values to live by and all of these were exemplified during my visit. Thanks, Melissa Clark

Great prices/quality but POOR delivery!! Bought a piece of furniture and was told itd be delivered between 9-1 today, and Im STILL waiting (over an hour and half later) for them to call and tell me theyre on their way! Since and a little before then, Ive called at least twice to be sure they were still coming and be sure they have a correct number on file. If I hadnt contacted them, Im pretty sure I wouldnt have heard a thing. The answer was "They are running a little behind"...to be an hour and a half ago!! And their hold "music" declares "on time delivery." Needless to say, Im frustrated. Ive bought many furniture pieces there and have generally preferred them over any place in town due to the great prices and quality furniture. I know things come up and there are delays, but good customer service would be to call the customer to make them aware of the delay BEFORE they must call you.
