Extremely poor delivery service We bought a bed and a dining set for our home from Ashley. The delivery guy named "Roy" who wouldnt tell me his last name was extremely unprofessional. He parked on our freshly done driveway which was very recently done and left permanent tire marks on my driveway. I had over 10 deliveries from Weirs, Hemispheres, Nebraska and Rooms to Go and they would all park on the road and never on the driveway. Roy the delivery guy also refused to wear booties or take off his shoes -- he said its Ashley policy. So I asked him come around the back instead of tracking mud all over the floor if he were to enter through the front door. Given the anatomy of my house, it would take extra 30 seconds to bring in the furniture through the back door. Roy refused to come through the back, called his supervisor but of course wouldnt let me talk to them. He then proceeded to take pictures of my house through the front door (which was very suspicious -- felt like he was planning to come back to do a burglary). I asked him to stop taking pictures of my house and he flipped and started yelling at me (to think that I actually paid for this service). He called his supervisor again who apparently convinced him to bring my furniture in through the back door. He and his colleague brought the furniture through the back mumbling and cursing. They then assembled my dining set in an extreme hurry and left. We saw immediately after they left that my dining table is unstable and wobbly. The bench was broken but they left anyway. I had to call Ashley back and start the long process of calling the technician etc. If you love your property please specifically ask that Roy not be the delivery person (I think he refused to give his full name because this is his track record) Roy is a tall African American skinny man in case he gave me wrong name. If he shows up at your house expect a ruined driveway, expect to get yelled at and be prepared for a lot of attitude and for god sake dont let him take pictures of your house. Update (5/17/17) : After the above incident, Ashley furniture reached out to me and made it right. They replaced my dining set with much better service. They also reached out to my contractor and worked closely with him to redo my driveway. The driveway is now done and looks pretty good. I did not expect this type of service after my original run in with Roy the delivery guy but they have done everything in their power to make it right and I am now pretty satisfied. Ashley gets 5 stars and my future business for sure.

My husband and myself went to Ashleys to buy our first bedroom set and mattress! Todd Carter was our salesman and he seemed really knowledgeable about mattresses and he seemed very patient. We eventually picked a Sterns and Foster mattress and a bedroom set. We left and got home and read some reviews about the mattress sagging and that it valleyed, we did not like what we saw so we went back to Ashleys the next day and we met Todd Carter at the door and told him what was going on. He rudely said "really? This is top of the line and one of our best sellers" and turned his back to myself and my husband, and just went towards the desk without saying a word. We followed him to the desk, and he tossed our paperwork onto the customer service desk and said "theyll handle it", then walked briskly away. He then returned and said "you need to knock off their 60 months no interest and change it to 24. We understood the change, but still did not appreciate his tone at all. After finishing the paperwork, we left and hopped into my husbands truck. Mr. Carter then ran over to our vehicle and tapped on our window saying "Im going to need you to come back in here and pay for your delivery fee now." Then immediately turned his back and walked into the store before we even got out of the truck. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with the service we received, especially after Todd Carter made money off of us from the furniture set we bought in conjunction with our mattress. The true salesperson persona was revealed in the end by Mr. Carter, and we will not be bringing our business to him again.

I will just state facts. The sales associate told us there is a 90 day price match guarantee. He explained if we were to purchase any items that day, we could price match it on black Friday and be refunded the difference (store credit was not mentioned) via method of payment (credit card). My wife and I came back on black Friday and was told they were too busy to refund anything that day they would call us the following week. [END RESULTS] We did not get the refund. We initially purchased some items one being a complete table set priced over the $1400 at 23% discount. The Black Friday discount was over 50%, but somehow we were only offered $148.57...There explanation as to the incorrect amount was the price they used to mark the discount (listed or retail), which was also not mentioned. The $148.57 amount offered was only given by store credit, not refunded to our card. Naturally I wanted to talk to the store manager, but was only allowed to talk with the assistant manager. I will not describe the conversation or how he treated me, just end results. All he could say was that the sales associate should not have said that and would apologize. I wont go into detail on how he would apologize. He did not offer to fix the situation or help me. I explained that I made the purchase because I was assured that I would get a refund via method of payment, his reply "Im sorry sir, theres nothing I can do about it." .....you be the judge on what kind of business this is....

If I can rate with no star the delivery and customer service department from ASHLEY FURNITURE I will for sure do so. Managers where are you? Listen to your customers. Furniture is nice, but Customer Service and Delivery Department has no manners. Its been a week and I am still waiting for delivery to call me. The dispatcher call my cellphone that they will deliver my furniture in the next 10 minutes. I work far and I cant take a plane to be there in 10 mins, neither sit at my house for 4 hours waiting for the delivery to show up. I got several call from dispatcher and they were voicemail from a voice machine. No real person except the delivery guy which 10 minutes after never pick up his cellphone again. People work and its not that we dont want to be there, but maybe work with the customer. People there are not spending cents, but thousands of dollars. Please be considerate. Delivery person call same day I bought furniture and told me I will get call the day before to know in which order I will be deliver, then later when I call they told me they cant guarantee the time. Are you serious? People communicate with your staff so they deliver the right information. I purchased at Alliance Town Centre. Sales Lady was very nice and helpful, customer service over the phone its really disappointing. I appreciate at least a call

Purchased a bed in July, wasnt able to pick it up until August , the bed we were given was milled improperly and can not be assembled. Upon calling to inform them we needed to exchange it for a bed that can be put together we were told that we just dont know how to assemble it. A technician was sent to our house a week later, only to tell us that the bed was milled improperly and couldnt be assembled SHOCKER!! He said by Monday we should hear from a customer service person to get us a new one. That call never came. I called to ask about returning the bed for a refund to be told Ashley furniture doesnt have a return policy. How thats possible I dont know. So I called the corporate office who told me to call the store and would do nothing other than say " call the store you bought it from" so again here I sit on hold with this store . I have currently been sitting on hold for 27 minutes. Im guessing they are hoping I will hang up. by far the worst product Ive spent money on, the worst service, the worst customer care, and in general theyve got terrible policies... Never will I spend a dime here ever again!!
