HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY CUSTOMER!! A PLUS++++ I bought an ElliptiGO about 2 months ago, when I took my test rides the weather was sunny and no wind at all. I loved the bike from the first minute I rode it. I got it home and rode it 3 times and each ride was more windy than the last....and then the rains came.....and more wind and then wind AND rain together! My bike sat in the garage for weeks on end! I finally decided that this was probably not the bike for me and hoped and prayed that Performance Bikes 365 day return policy was true......IT IS!! Today we brought the ElliptiGO back and got a full refund! We ended up buying 2 more bikes (were kind of bike hoarders!) and cannot be more happy with Performance Bikes in Castleton! Everyone treated us kindly, they didnt mind us taking several more bikes out for test rides, husband is 6 foot 3 inches tall and its hard to find a bike to fit him. Its a 48 mile drive to get there, but well worth it!

I just had my bike serviced there as part of the Pro Tune and Drivetrain package I bought when I got the new Fuji bike back in fall of 2014. To be honest, I had a little of buyers remorse thinking that the Pro Tune was nothing more than fancy visual inspection and little chain lube. Boy was I wrong. After Aaron Short (the technician who was working on my bike) was done with my bike, the bike looked BRAND NEW. The chain, cassette, everything looked freshly cleaned/lubed. He also left me with a page of detailed notes on what was performed including recommendations for future maintenance issues (one of my tires was getting little worn out for instance). I was really positively impressed! Too bad, this level of service and attention to detail is so seldom found nowadays. Thank you Aaron for job well done. It is clear that you take pride in what you do and I am a very happy customer!

The staff at Performance Bike is the friendliest and most helpful of any bike shop Ive been to in the area. No high pressure sales or up-selling, just helpful and courteous. The service department is always quick and very reasonably priced. Went in most recently because my MTB was shifting poopoy thinking I needed derailleur or shifter adjustments. They looked at it and said it was probably the chain but theyd check it out more closely. Got a call a day later that it was done. Went to pick it up and the charged me for a new chain and practically nothing for labor. The bike is shifting smooth as butter again. And thats not to mention the other times Ive gone in with an issue that turned out to be a quick fix with no charge. Always a satisfied customer and they will always get my business as well as referrals!

I do not care what local bike snobs say about shopping local bike stores or businesses. I have been a customer of Performance bike in Georgia and Indiana for a decade now, and why, you may be asking this review. Because the people that work in these shops are LOCAL people and they do care. Ive had more than a few things remedied without cost as well as knowledgeable sales persons and I have saved a lot of money every year. Local bike stores usually treat me as a sub human customer because I dont frequent them as often, they dont have everything on their websites, and quite frankly if its not a large local chain that employs uninformed lackluster newbys, they are local "mom and pop" snobs. Thanques, for my money I will continue to give performance my business.

Customer Service at the Store - Good Customer Service from the company 1800 number - Poor I ordered my bike at the store on May 30th and they said it would arrive April 26th. I followed up on April 30th when I hadnt heard anything. They said it was on back order. I asked if there was a way to let me know any further information and they said no. My bike is finally at the store today but not put together. I only knew this information because I called to follow up. Customer service at the company was very rude. The people at the store are nice though.

Both my mine and my sons bikes are from here. Bought ours in Illinois and now my daughters yesterday from the Indy store. Fantastic customer service from both stores, very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you may have and spend as much time with you that you need but without any pressure of a sale. The guy in Indy even told me straight out that one bike over another wasnt worth the extra money for what the bike was and my daughter will be using it for! Thats honesty you can trust!!

Awful customer service. Go to Bicycle Garage Indy. I took my bike in on 3/18/2012 for a wheel true and gear adjustment and was told it would cost $40 and be done on 3/29/2012. On 3/29, I called to confirm it was ready and they said yes. When I went to pick up the bike, the work had even not been started and no attempt was made to fix the problem. I took the bike back and went to Bicycle Garage Indy and they did the repair on the spot for $12.

I have had bad experience after bad experience with this store. I have been told I couldnt use coupons when in fact I could, the store has lost almost 130,000 team points and I have had to make repeated trips to this store to resolve issues (with a three hour round trip drive) - and the issues still are not resolved. I would not recommend this store, nor will I ever go back after spending a very significant amount of money here.

I had a great experience here. I came in as a bicycling novice and was guided through everything I needed to know about it. I was able to test ride a few different types of bicycles. The saleswoman was very helpful and I ultimately bought a bike I was happy with. It looked like they have a good range of prices for people with different budgets.
